Good review, thanks for the video

Good review. A heads up for those that have to assemble these. Pull the plug on the under side of the pump. This was not listed as a step when assembling. It shows on page 11, #18 Suction line tube. It doesn't say anything about the PLUG! I am usually very careful about reading directions. Other than that they are very good on directions. The Splitter works great. Construction and welds seem very good. I will try back when I have 10 cord or so run through it.

Thanks Man! I have 10 cord through mine and no problems to report. Usually starts in 3 pulls and has split everything I have thrown at it!

Looks like a solid rig. Make sure you shut the gas valve off after use. Those engines like to dilute the oil with fuel during storage. Be carefull lifting those chunks. Heavy lifting is the most efficient way to stunt your physical longevity. Have you seen the video where the guy took an old log splitter and mounted it on an excavator boom? Its amazing. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the heads up on the shut off and checking oil! I did see the log splitter on the excavator. Very cool!

@@Man-Time Should go without saying, Only 'rec fuel' premium.no.meth in the small engine arena.

Notice no fenders the holes are there for them should've tried vertical splitting position anyway hopefully you have good luck with it down the road oh as far as water going into hydraulic tank I wouldn't store it outside keep it inside out of weather only thing I dislike is splitters with square end cap on the beam they are to narrow for the bigger logs like to slip off the sides bigger round end cap keeps the logs on better keep a eye on oil level also if you fill the hydraulic fluid to high it will squirt hot hydraulic fluid out of that hole in the cap
