My sister lives there now. I havent been to visit her yet. Years ago i lived on Captiva Island. That was nice. But Fort Myers itself scares me. We used to call it Fort Misery

Much of it is quite safe and the locations can be convenient for what you might need on a daily basis. Many areas that you would want to avoid are fairly obvious when you are driving through.
