What WWE Won't Tell You About the Undertaker

Ойын-сауық

Did the Undertaker bully young WWE wrestlers, and did he try to intentionally hurt some of his opponents?

Fun fact: when Kennedy was asked what was his favorite spot in the WWE his response was the chair shot he took from Taker and he said he just loved how it opened perfectly so his head could fit and also claims he didn't even feel it at first or second "kinda more like I felt it around 9th or 10th"

There are countless stories about taker being a standup guy and doing what’s right too. Even when it meant standing up to people with major pull and showing rookies major respect too. Takers always been my all time favorite. Since day 1 of watching. I was a die hard fan back in the day and will always love it. But I back in the day would read/watch/search for every bit of info I could. And I’ve always heard nothing but great things about taker.

He was definitely a mafia-type leader in the early 2000s. It is definitely true because that was the culture. Of course, people like bully-ray, Hardcore Holly, or any other “veteran” will not talk against Taker. No doubt the younger guys were bullied only because the “veterans” thought they had something to prove. Absolutely ridiculous. I know as fans we don’t want to believe it. But, Taker definitely played a major role as part of contributing to that toxic culture. Same thing with JBL. Now, he states he was only “busting balls.” However, this is the viewpoint of any early 2000s wrestler that was part of WWE. I wish people would look beyond the characters’ and only admire them to a certain extent.

it's pretty well excepted there's a lot of things expected of rookies by the veterans that outside of hollywood (not a ringing endorsement) would not fly in any other industry. turns out there was a lot of ego and general assholery early 2000's and before. Taker being a locker room leader is either complicit or at least let it happen. that's not to say he was a bad person or his legacy should be tarnished but, that we accept that everyone is flawed and personalities were not managed well by the company that should have been able to control the egos of it's talent.

Obviously nobody is going to be perfect and will make mistakes and enemies during their career. But even if all these allegations are true, it's an extremely miniscule list compared to the 30 years of leadership and respect Mark Calloway has earned with his peers and fans. These stories will hardly tarnish Undertaker's reputation and prestige.

Not many know the insider stuff and what goes on in the business but prefer to judge some of the wrestlers. Still he is unfairly targeted.Over what?Bret Hart Screw job. There is always a power struggle in booking who should win and who should lose.Just because he is on one side of the struggle we have loads of opinions as if every thing is good except the thing. Backstage politics? I don't know if you expect the guys at the top other than than him stayed there without having a sphere of influence.

Also Taker’s absolutely right about wwe product being soft. The talent on the roster is phenomenal, no doubt about it, but with the pg era and all that, they’ve made wrestling flashy. Everyone’s doing top rope moves and dives to the outside, and wrestling is a spectacle instead of just beating the hell out of one another. HHH’s response to Taker’s comments were perfect. Just like different people enjoy different types of music, people are going to vary in opinion on what “era” or style of professional wrestling is best. It definitely has lost its edge over the years in WWE, but the talent and athleticism is undeniable. Undertaker’s been in the business for 30 years. He’s seen dozens of wrestlers come and go. It goes without saying I think that an observation like that probably holds at least some merit.

You guys are just clicking baiting, Kanyon did not come out of closet until way after the rivalry. Mr. Kennedy praised the undertaker in some shooting interview and he said it was the best thing that ever happened to him during his WWE time was Taker taking him and MVP under his wings.

I don’t get what’s so bad about Sabu’s claim. If you’re being a jackass and being way too stiff in the ring or just generally unsafe, you should be punished. The ultimate goal in professional wrestling is safety, as practically any move, no matter how simple, can result in serious injury or even death if done incorrectly. Taker’s one of the safest people to work with, so it’s no surprise he feels this way.

good comments on todays wwe product. virtually any match after 2012 (that doesnt involve taker) is unwatchable trash. thats mostly because the wrestlers have no heart or care. and they are cuddled and cant do a promo. the entire product is watered down nickelodean style junk. mick foley pretending this is not true is shameful.
