Brilliant idea incentivising playing Scottish youth in terms of the tv and prize money distribution. My 1 Big change would be to cut the number of professional teams to 32 with 2 leagues ot 16 or an 18 and a 14. We then have a semi-pro system under our top 32 with a 3 team up and down promotion pathway so that teams can alternate between semi-pro and Professional. The 11-1 voting system probably is the number 1 issue for change. All fans agree on voting system and league reconstruction.

Agree with pretty much all of this.

Subscribed! One of my views: require a minimum of home grown players to be available for each game (a bit like in England). Benefit 1) It levels the playing field as the top 2 teams couldn't just buy in and over-rely on overseas talent that will overcome the smaller teams. 2) it benefits youth development

Not sure how to put it but because of the pressure so many teams feel to stay in the top league, a lot of youth don't get the chance so maybe give an incentive for your trained youth playing a number of games a season? Also because of a lack of money in Scotland for transfers etc, more clubs should consider becoming a feeder club for better league clubs. Main thing is coaching. Every coach below the old firm should be going and meeting the coaches of teams in the Danish, Norway or even Belgian for example and studying how they tick, how they're able to punch above their weight in Europe and gain more money.

Bigger leagues, at least 5 youth academy players in match day squads could push further with that tbh. Also summer football is a no brainer with the crap weather we get at same time get rid of plastic pitches

18 team league- play 2x each for 34 games European money distribution on a league basis so total European money shared to each team in league equally give domestic cup winners priority in European qualification over 2nd in league

That first suggestion has got to be the worst idea I've ever heard for Scottish football or even football in general 😂😂😂

Forcing teams to play scottish players would destroy scottish football as it is, i.e. nowhere to develop the young academy players. The priority has to be to reinstate the Reserve-team format where we can develop young players against premier level players that cant get into the squads. Without this in place you cant expect big teams chasing titles and cups to play academy players in their first team who have only ever played tier 5 football. You dont need homegrown players to build a good league, look at England. Yes it helps but it isnt necessary. If i had a magic wand i would get all the teams in the leagues to agree to a loose playing style that promotes good tactical awareness, throughout the whole age group of teams right up to professional.
