I'm just not vibing with their last two albums. I feel like it's too spatially compact in its mix. I do prefer their erractic, frenetic 70s-inspired phase. Cassandra Gemini full suite is up there with Vivaldi's La Quattro Stagioni

It's actually got a hidden story behind the entire album, so the lyrics get you nowhere on their own. Each track is a character in a murder-mystery thriller, Where Frances witnessed the event but can't speak. The dress in the translated lyrics alludes to Magritte's paintings based on the artist's own memory of having seen his Mother's corpse floating in a river, with it up over her face. She had ended it.

Yo Van. Their song “Take the Veil Cerpin Text” is song with amazing drums!

Lol you should just react to the album. It's a concept album about some dark stuff. L'via is the sister to a woman who was killed, she's talking to her nephew about what happened to his mom...it's a dark story

I saw these guys open for System of a Down, it was hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen! Love these guys!

I love you Bro but I'm pretty sure your command of Spanish is, let's say, "sub par" 😂. *Try googling the lyrics and then using a translation app. It's a very heavy song by a very deep band. I have TWICE seen them give performances that were (at least) as intense as NE F****ING thing I've EVER witnessed and they were both very different from each other. They do have songs that are in English. I would suggest "the widow", "viscera eyes" as perhaps more "decipherable" songs (*but I'll admit, you have to embrace Cedric's "abstract" approach to lyricism, generally)
