This conversation is incredible. I would say that Protestants would not even feel allowed to talk about these things. They simply assume that Mary and Joseph had relations and went on with a common life. But they forget that these two individuals were in a rather special apostolate. They were totally consecrated to raising the Son of the Living God to manhood. I'm sure they all three took out the garbage and cooked chicken for dinner and swept the floors, but there was something extraordinary about them that cannot be denied. We want them to be just like us, and they were, but then again, they weren't.

@@tony1685 you know nothing about the Bible. Joseph and Mary lived in this world, the house they lived is still available, people say them, there are writings about their lives by people who saw them especially the Jews who lived in Judea. This truth is not only available in the Bible, but available in historical records. Your ignorance and hate for the Blessed virgin Mary is because you hate Jesus

@@tony1685 Jesus was a jews and Jewish people don't accept him as saviour. Jewish people have lived with him there are many more things to learn than to debate on Bible to understand more about Jesus.

Dearest Saint Joseph, in this holy day of the Feast of the Holy Family, please send me a holy Catholic man for my husband and ask Almighty God to bless us with our own Children who will grow up to love and serve the Lord all their days until death! I ask this in the Holy name of Jesus, if it be His will! Amen! 🙏

As one who has recently converted to Catholicism from Protestantism I am trying to learn and understand the doctrines of the Catholic faith. In short I am in agreement with most of it's doctrines and while yes I do believe in the immaculate conception I am still struggling to understand the basis for the perpetual virginity of the Blessed Mother. Especially given the verse Matthew 1:25 ( but knew her not( meaning Joseph) until she had given birth to a son. ) Such phrasing as I understand it has always referred to an "Intimate act" between a man and woman. Is there anyone that can lead me to the right direction in reconciling the teachings of the Church on the Blessed Mother that appears contrary to the verse in Matthew.1:25? I ask with total deference.

How is Jesus from the line of David (from his father, Joseph) if he was immaculately conceived and has none of David's DNA?

Virgin Mary doesn't care if Joseph is son of God. Joseph doesn't care if virgin Mary was the beautiful woman of all. All they both care is both really loves each others.
