Channel Lock Pliers - aka “Vise Grips.” Like what Kev said about his crescent wrench, not a maintenance tool but a pair of these can really save the day in an emergency - so versatile!

Slip joint pliers, aka water pump pliers. Really good for removing factory hose clamps for radiator R&R etc.
Outstanding !!

Thx for sharing ! I run my Charger R/T's original single point ignition system, so I carry a set of Points/Condenser/Rotor, spare Coil, Screwdriver/Pilers set of 3/Duct & Electrical Tape, set of wrenchs and a basic ratchet set, Fuel Filter, some misc sizes hoses/hose clamps, Tire Plug Kit, small Tire Air Compressor. I drive the wheels off mine... 25,000 Miles over the last few years and I've never needed any of the above ?

Heck yeah! I used to carry spare parts (alternator, starter, etc) too but thankfully never needed them.
Thank you!

You're welcome!
Most definitely carry spare tools with you,I have used most of mine at one time or another. Changed a starter, alternator , wiring also and the list would go on .

I’ve had to do the exact same before
The only thing or things I would add is nitrile gloves or hand cleaner for after the job is done

Nice job on the video. Probably a rain coat or umbrella. You forgot the BFH,.. and make sure you have your Cell phone and charger for the cigarette lighter. That was the most advanced tech in my car was the USB adapter in the ash tray...Haha. except for the Dakota dash and MSD.

Yep. I carry that, plus an ECU and a voltage regulator. Had failures of every one of those over the years. ECU multiple times! They all handily fit in the glove box. Maybe a small tube of dielectric grease to go with.

Smart suggestion!
I’d also Definitely add : extra belts, oil, coolant, maybe extra hose clamps, disposable gloves.

Since the Evans coolant we run never pressurizes (zero water) we’ve never had a leak. But for those running traditional coolant that’s good advice.

I've always got a trunk full of tools. But I drive junk. Unfortunately not a classic. Hopefully I'll be able to get a classic soon. Im so sick of plastic and sensors
