I recently have been trying to get into studio photography so I took a friend with me to another friend of ours mini studio that he let me use for free and we shot around. I definitely didn't have a purpose or a plan before shooting lol, my plan was to just learn some lighting techniques and get accustomed to using studio lighting since I normally just shoot with my on camera flash. The photo's did NOT receive as good of a reception as I had hoped on IG lol. I was wondering if you could take a look at them and let me know what you think might've been the reason people didn't seem to gravitate towards them.

@@Tommy4k kk ty, I messaged you :)
I've been experimenting with most types of photography to see where my interest lays. I've found it's with portrait/beauty/studio mainly but the hardest thing about this is the sheer cost of everything, especially at the moment. It adds up so quickly and there's tonnes of channels that say, "buy this, it's cheap." but even when it's $400+, that's hard to do. My main question is, what sort of gear did you find was the best value for money especially when you're not earning much if anything at the moment from photography? I'm looking at an AD400 w/ softbox, some paper backdrops, v-flats and a beauty dish as my basic starter for what I want to do.

It’s hard because a lot of KZreadrs don’t really review equipment they actually enjoy using. I’d recommend the AD400 because it’s very versatile and has so much value. I actually use those too. In most of my videos I link equipment I too if you want to see my whole kit
Good info! Can you make a video on using Pixieset to deliver to clients?
