This training course is far superior to other training courses I have seen. I wish this level of instruction was more common.

@@jamesworth378 thats funny. I actually trained with superdell. Hes actually a good guy who really cares about the safety of his students. But hes really really into kiting and wing control. I spent so much of the training session kiting that i didnt get to learn other key skills. I like that this follows a clear curriculum and covers some of the things i didnt get to do.

@@SkySchool I think it's amazing what you do,, love it, could I ask a question?, on a paramotor,, could you fly one from Wales, too ireland, its about 300 miles, including the Irish sea?.
Great video, I got hooked by watching the Tucker Gott videos on You Tube, glad there is some proper training over on this side of the pond.!

Same here: but dont let Tucker fool you, swear that kid is part bird. His mum is a commercial hot air balloonist. his dad is a pilot and the kid learned to fly a fixed wing aircraft at aged 16.
You guys are one of the best schools out there...wish you were in Canada....NOTHING HERE

As far as needing a license: you don't need any sort of license right now to fly a paramotor, but training is definitely a must have. To fly with someone else tandem, or to fly the 2 person trikes, you need a Light Sport Aircraft license.

Alex nice and passioned illustration and excellent concept not missing out … if i would not have made my lizenz i would try to book it at some of your school ! Rg Bernd
Short n sweet ….. looking forward to learn from you guys
Great video guys well done, from a person looking to learn and just looking at everything on youtube. On the other side of the globe so a bit far to travel haha.
loved this video great explanations for this sport🤗
Very Good video Alex!!!
Can't wait!
Very nice video!
I have heard no officially recognized licenses are required or issued by FAA

That maybe true I'm not sure but I wouldn't want to fly something without training I have seen many videos where the wing screws up so I would prefer training to death
Excellent. 😀👍
After my privet pilot license I'm looking to this as a side hobby
Great video...
Good coverage of your offering, and what training is required to go from noobie to PPP.
That’s beautiful
blimey,Alex, you took off your shades!
Looking fwd to training with you ... just waiting to see what overseas courses you do next year - would have loved to have done Turkey.
Multiple choice!!! For real
I would love to learn paramotoring and been wanting to do it for a long time sadly funds will always be a problem and that that’s why I think a lot of people try and teach them selfs through you tube. Which is ludicrous.
i really want one of these
I would love to do this but it's the fear of heights that's keeping me grounded.. at the moment

Anil Chopra you just need to dive in the deep end and discover you can swim (fly) safely!
Best Ragard from copenhagen Denmark.
Less than a month to go before the Gilo Industries team get some tuition! Rather excited, fingers crossed these low wind bright evenings last!
Decent training with equipment rentals to finish: 3-4 days shouldn't cost more than $1500.
I really really want to do this

Sadly the UK climate makes it very difficult for us to run intensive courses. We therefore suggest to all of our students that they complete their training with us overseas in order to do a lot more flying in much more consistent weather conditions than the UK.

@ElectricRemi: Not sure what you're commenting about. My reply was directed at Phil Yermummin who doesn't seem to have his comment posted anymore. It had nothing to do with licenses. I think it was about incomplete training and going on to learning the rest in the school of Hard Knocks or something to that effect. Do you fly paramotors too?

P.S. I can't afford to buy any bridge, what I spent on training wiped me out! Also, licensing is a big money-grabbing scam by guvmint entities to turn our rights into privileges.

I don't think my chances of death are all that high. The most likely potential injuries I'd risk would be to my legs, ankles, and feet. I just don't wanna have to go to camp somewhere to learn. Luckily, I found a local paragliding and hang gliding club that will train me for $180, so I think that's what I'll end up doing.
@collinhennessy1521

People pass out in these things 2,000 feet up and survive their unconscious landings without sustaining life-changing injuries, there are videos of little kids flying these things. I think $180 for 1 on 1 instruction that I can drive to on the weekend is a much better deal than paying for room, board, and group lessons with strangers who live on opposite sides of the country. Can you find any examples of paramotoring accidents resulting in fatalities?
@collinhennessy1521

The British Journal of Sports Medicine has done some pretty extensive research into parachuting injuries. Your risk of sustaining an injury in parachute sports is 1/12 that of "regular" sports.
