Yes, l was ghosted and l am very proud of myself because l didn't know anything about ghosting but l 've Been acting as you described: l noticed that it was their reaction/decision to go. As l started to fall in love, l noticed that l've Also chosen to be with him and as l love him, l respect his decisions , even it means that l am not choosen . This was so emotionally deep and taugh to live with it but it was healing. And really, with this ghosting situation l noticed how much l have selfrespect. I healed much earlier than before when l was asking myself "what did l do wrong?" . And dear, thank you for this video: it is kind reminder of selflove❤

Really felt a bit betrayed from friends that all of a sudden gang out with others and you feel left out, not chosen, not needed. Us painful asoevially when nothing terrible happened or just because you live far away and they don't lice chat or phone calls. When friends ignoring messages when you have dove nothing bad to them, that really hurts. I still can't move on completely and many times my head goes back there or I try to send a text. The wound has healed but the scar is still there emotionally and sometimes something will remind me of what happened. I'll feel sad for a while, and I get pass it. I'm going on with my life. I know I'm not quite the same person I was before the ghosting. I'm much more guarded and more wary of people now. I thought I had met someone who was very much like me. Someone I could trust and open up to so getting ghosted really shook me up internally. I keep myself busy with hobbies, work and family. Not much else I can do.

@angelinavasquez4964 I'm so glad you found this valuable. Being ghosted is hard, and does not reflect on your value as a person or in the way you interacted in the connection. It's about the other person's unwillingness to step up and speak whatever truth they could have. (anything from "I'm not feeling this" to "I need to change these things in our connection"). May you find healing soon and embrace your power and beauty in the process.

And, I know you have it in you. I know you have the strength and the courage to find boundaries around how you get to be treated. And to demand that from someone else. How can we support you in doing that? Where can you find support from your friends and family, and see your true value and worth in the world?

When someone ghosts you there is SERIOUS chance they have a Dismissive Avoidant attachment type. This can be CRUCIAL to understand, I don't see that mentioned, and in most cases is the reason, and also the reason you need to RUN from anyone with DA attachment.

  • @YourUnifiedMind

What's it mean? About them!!! the person that Ghosts you is a coward and has no character. They should at least tell you that they're going back to an x or they have feelings for an x. That's usually the answer. There's an x in the background. And ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend bottom line been there, done that. I have 2T shirts. They still have feelings for the other person. You're just a rebound. It could last 2 weeks to a year and they'll still go back to their ex. Beware of rebound relationships... And yes, it sucks the hurt the pain.
