So awesome how Black swan doesn't just give you robot phrases but actually teaches you how to think...
"Tone of voice, human commnication.. it's a perishable skill, are you practising? Take notes because hand writing processes differently than typing" - SO valuable!!
Most people are rarely honest, and most people don't like an honest person.
My man Chris ❤ you literally changed my life. In both personal and professional level. Personal : I am an assertive and my relationship with my mom was not good before. After reading your book and consuming your content in videos, I controlled myself and changed a lot. Labels work on my mom insanely crazyy. And now I am happy with my mom. Professional : I started an agency and struggled a lot to get clients. At last I booked a meeting with a prospect and I was very nervous (I don't have sales experience) I made him talk and used - Accusations, Labels, and got That's right from him and he didn't even checked the presentation. He said, send a demo and you will have payment. Literally that was crazy for me haha it feels like now I can successfully throw the presentation in the GARBAGE. Gathering money to take your advanced courses. Thanks a lot Black Swan group and Chris Voss for all the free Value 🎉❤

What he says about handwriting is REAL! Your body's muscle memory reads each letter with it's own unique character, but goes to sleep feeling the same reps of smooth plastic rythmic keystrokes or thumb touches on your glass phone screen. You get a deeper connection when you hand write. From your body. It has to move in ways it may have forgotten lately and that sparks fresh neural connections or reopens old bridges mentally between ideas.

Not yet had the pleasure, but seen lots of videos and read Voss' work. Effective. Sharp tack. Knows how to play the soft game to find workarounds and pivot positions quickly without beating anyone down. I'd invest in him again.
Thx again folks
i could spend a year with the chris and still need more time 😊
I am a designer, I've often thought that in dispute or negotiation the parties instead of competing, trying to defeat each other, should work together to resolve the problem as in a design collaboration. And here it is, this is what it looks like, with bells on too. Thank you.

Than you for being a loyal supporter of our channel. We see you!
It's interesting to see Chris play the negotiator, because his angle of questions and the way he appealed to emotion and logic was very interesting. It's a shame the host was so focused on just not engaging with him at all and just focused on the timer, which isn't how a real person in that scenario would react. Watching Chris actually talk to someone who would engage with him in that role would be incredibly interesting.
Nice
Did he just say, "There's enough ethical business people to make a difference"?!?!? For real?!?! Whaaohw. Learn something new every day. Thanks!

Can some of the questions be used in dating/seduction etc?
Hey, there is something i didn't understand. should i use them just on important negotiations like buying something? Or should i use them entire day and my daily life? I couldn't find a way to use in a normal day for some techniques Sorry for my bad English :D
@NegotiationMastery

These are conversational skills. If you practice them everyday throughout the day in any conversation or even mental reps while watching tv, they will become natural to you. So when those important conversations and negotiations come up you will be better and see better results. Start with the Quick 2+1. (Labels, Mirrors, Dynamic Silence)

@@NegotiationMastery Then, When i finished the book, shouldn't I try every technique same time right? I think , I should choose some of them according to situation.
I still don't know how to make Dj voice. listened but didn't understand. Can anyone send me any examples. I don't know english so I just listen that voice. Can't understand the conversations .D It's like just speaking slower and little bit deeper or just slower and lower? Must i speak all the time like this or just end of the sentence?

Who knows if I could calmly respond this way if actually faced with this test, let alone the real situation... I wonder how affective or ineffective this response to "I need a car in 60 seconds or she dies." would be: "Hi my name's James." "I don't care what your name is, give me the car in 60 seconds or she dies.." "What's wrong, with 6 years.. and she lives?...

Wow nice to see someone with the last name Voss have teeth
This first interviewer totally ruined the "60 seconds or she dies" roleplaying by being unrealistically stubborn...
Sooooo RUDE when a host who is interviewing a guest looks down for longer than 2 seconds while the guest is talking.( UNLESS they Tell the guest in advance "I'm writing down what you say, I'm listening")... They clearly show that they aren't listening carefully because they aren't interested...!! ie the one with the glasses
The host is doing so very poorly. Wow it is eye opening.

Wtf is "suicide by cop" lmao, it sounds like a contrived way of just saying a cop killed and murdered somebody

It is when a person intentionally behaves in a way that is sure to elicit a response where the police shoot to kill, fully intending to die as a result of their actions
