My wife is 39 weeks 4 days, she just had her bloody show accompanied by strong contractions an hour ago (03:47 am, South African time), we are expecting our 1st born son🙂

Yikes! Second baby for me but I’m only 33 weeks and pretty certain I just had bloody show 😫 midwife says I may have to go to the ER in the morning if things don’t stop because it’s too early to go into the birth center. Trying so hard not to freak out.

FTM 38 + 4 days. Had my first bloody show yesterday at 1:30pm. This morning had some light pink spotting when I wiped mild cramping/contractions and a little bit of bloody show that I saw in the toilet bowl. bloody show again at 12:30pm same day that was more dark brown and much more bloody show than yesterday. Something is happening!

I am 39 weeks 6 days. I have had 2 membrane sweeps, one today. I think I may be having a bloody show, started right when I got home from my appointment. Let’s see how this goes my due date is tomorrow and I really want him now LOL was almost 3cm

So i have pink spotting, no mucous , with cramping and dull back pain. Beyond uncomfortable

During periods also prostaglandins are released which makes us poop when periods start

I’m 39wks 4days just discovered the eggs white with some blood on it, still get contractions 10mn a part!! For first time mom should I go to hospital?? I just come back yesterday and nothing yet only 1cm need some advice pls

I did not go to the hospital. It can take weeks after loosing ☺️ a good sign for me to head to the hospital was a nauseous feeling or a feeling of needing to really focus and pause during a contraction

35+1, having lots of thin and stringy egg white discharge with blood streaks, loose stools, and very irritable. Ready to pop this puppy out already!

This was unexpected to me. I lost my mucous plug on the 23rd (night) and then it starts to become yellowish or brownish on the 24th after half a day tinged with blood. Then on the 25th, I decided to just go to the hospital to get checked out and was 2cm dilated but baby have not engaged yet. So I was told I'm still allowed to go home since my actual review is on the 27th. But after the check for dilation on the 25th, I began having the bloody show again until late at night. Then just today (26th) somewhere in the early morning (think it was around 3AM), I started to only secrete yellowish mucous and my pad was a bit wet. From what I've researched today online, turns out it is pee. 😂 Seems like whenever I secreted the mucous, I pee a little.

Just want to ask, I'm more than 36 weeks pregnant, first time mom. when I go to bathroom to pee, I just saw mucus mild pinkish blood. Is it normal? 😊

What if I only have a bathtub? Will that halt labor?

Doulas and midwifes usually encourage to rest and relax in early labor. But ya warm water can slow things down but will not stop true labor. ☺️
