I remember when I was a Muslim I was so convinced that the Quran said that the gospel and Torah were corrupted, I never actually studied the Quran to see if it confirms the torah and the gospel are corrupted I just mindlessly obeyed Muslims like Dr Zakir Naik. After looking at the verses and realizing that the Quran doesn’t affirm the corruption, it was that moment I lost so much of my faith in Islam. A couple years later I am now an ex-Muslim, May the father the son and the holy spirit bless you and your family. Amen.

Amen brother. Same thing happened to me. I fast read the quran, hadiths and sunnahs, took me 4 years, 2 hours a day to finish them all, from 12 to 16. By the end of it, it is clear that Mohammad is a fake prophet.

I knew a Muslim, he decided to read the entire Bible to gather knowledge and arguments that he would use to attack and refute Christianity. - By the time he had finished reading, he had become a Christian.

I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah: - Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - Verily those who believe not [in Islam], among those who have received the scriptures [Jews and Christians], and among the idolaters, [shall be cast] into the fire of hell, to remain therein [for ever]. These are the worst of creatures.

Presently in "debate" with 2 different Muslims about the "corruption" of the Gospel. Used all the Quran verses you have given. They have problems. Just won't admit it. Great video.

Every time we wrote back and forth I brought this up. They always ignored it. I did call them a bad Muslim denying the Koran and saying Allah lied. In the end both seem to have quit responding (run from the truth).

Thank you for presenting this video 😊 I will share what the rebuttal from Imams and Sheiks and Islamic scholars would be to this: Whenever Allah refers to the Torah and Gospel, he is referring to the uncorrupted version… while the Quran never says the Torah and Gospel are corrupt (in fact as you pointed out, it continually references them as authoritative revelations from God), the Quran does contain conflicts with the Gospel - most notably Sura 4 that claims Jesus was never crucified. Imams will tell you that since the Quran directly contradicts the Gospel on this point (which happens to be the lynch pin of Christian faith), that is evidence enough that the Gospel is corrupted. So basically, they will say the Torah/Psalms/Gospel have become a mixture of God’s original truth and corrupted lies. They will further claim that since the Quran came last (what they call the “final, final” revelation from God)… It is the final, final authority… and any conflicts between it and the Torah or Gospel should be written off as the product of corruption of the Torah and Gospels… Why were the Torah and Gospels allowed to be corrupted if the word of Allah is incorruptible? And why command followers to honor books that are corrupt? According to Imams, Allah did this on purpose to mislead unbelievers as a form of testing - to see who the truly faithful followers are (i.e, those who accept the Quran’s authority and reject the divinity and saving power of Jesus as corrupt lies) This rebuttal allows Islamic scholars and teachers to cherry pick from the Torah and Gospel and Psalms to support arguments when it suits their purposes, while rejecting anything from the same books as “corruption” when it doesn’t support their arguments. Their rationale for this? “If the Quran and the Torah/Psalms/Gospel 100% align, then those parts of the Torah/Psalms/Gospel are still uncorrupted. If the two don’t 100% align on a topic, then the Quran is right and the other books are corrupted. And the parts of the Torah/Psalms/Gospel that the Quran doesn’t reference are anyone’s guess as to whether they are corrupt or not… So since we can’t conclude which parts of the Torah/Psalms/Gospel are corrupt and uncorrupt, aside from those topics where the Quran directly conflicts with them, then the only option is to accept the Quran as the only authority of God’s word” This is the response you will receive if you bring the arguments in this video to Islamic scholars. In my opinion, the Islamic scholars’ rebuttal is quite weak and opportunistic. As far as I can tell, the true purpose of the Quran is to replace Jesus with Muhammad as the great king and savior the Torah and Psalms foretold and further to deny the divinity and saving work of Jesus as corruption and lies. The problem with this is the Quran itself makes it quite clear that Jesus was unique, the messiah, and without sin… and that his followers would be blessed until the end of days (which has not occurred yet)… while Muhammad was just a man, full of sin and doubt, who was used to deliver God’s final word. It does not logically follow that such a unique figure like Jesus (who was the messiah, and different from the other prophets in that he was absolutely perfect even according to the Quran) would somehow take a subservient role to that of Muhammad, a normal man turned prophet who was himself a sinner according to the Quran. To the Islamic scholars I would have to conclude that though they offer a valiant defense of the Quran, it is too flawed to be saved. A lie which is valiantly defended is still a lie. Truly objective and rational analysis of the facts and what best explains the available evidence must conclude, in my view, that the Bible is correct. As for Islam and the Quran, my personal view is that this is Satan’s (rather brilliant) attempt to turn humans away from the only road to salvation - faith in Jesus Christ - by mixing lies with truth; a true attempt to corrupt and defame God’s word.

​@@BadManPromotions The problem is, we have thousands of ancient manuscripts that predate the time the Mohammed and the Quran, from which the entire New Testament can be recreated in its original languages. So if corruption has occurred (there is no evidence of this) then the corruption had to have occurred after the time of Muhammed and the writing of the Quran, yet we know the Quran confirms the scriptures at the time of writing. So either the Quran is wrong or there is no corruption. Furthermore, because we have these manuscripts, (some dating to just a few decades after Jesus's death) For any corruption to stick they would have to somehow corrupt all the thousands of manuscripts and all the translated copies all across the world at the same time...

@@Pav94an I have used this argument so many times when debating Muslims. Show me the proof. Show me the proof Jesus wasn't crucified. Show me proof Moses chased a rock naked. Not a single one can give proof. They either avoid or ignore the question. Muhammad makes way too many historical claims that can't be backed by evidence. And furthermore, if you look at the Quran, almost every single teaching in it can be traced to another source. Jesus talking in the cradle and making birds? Gospel of Thomas. Jinns? Arab paganism. Even Allah can be directly traced to a pagan god with a similar name, and the revelation story looks copied from Moses', considering the authors of the Quran have been busted for plagiarism.

Bless you for bringing me this teaching. Before I became a Christian I thought about becoming a Muslim. I still have a copy of the Quran that for some reason Jesus told me not to burn or throw away with the rest of the occult/pagan books that I destroyed earlier this year. I think I just found the reason that Jesus told me not only to keep it but also to pack it up along with my Bible into my bugout bag. I figured it was only as a way to relate to the followers of Muhammad (peace be to him) when proclaiming the good news but now I see it was for a entirely different reason altogether….. the Quran helps to verify the authenticity of the Torah and the New Testament. I choose to say that out of respect for them as human beings even though I disagree with alot of the dogma associated with Islam. Personally I believe Islam has some beautiful elements to it, mixed in with a lot of wickedness, just as most religions do. That includes mainstream christianity which I also have a difficult time with. I do not justify wickedness, even when it comes from my own religion. Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” This Scripture points to the manner in which he will born, and also to one of the names given to Christ: Immanuel, meaning God with us. This was pointing to both his human birth and his divine nature. This was written over 700 years before Christ was born.

We all know that only God's LAST revelation will be guarded from change. So which is the last revelation ? It's amazing what comes about when you actually read the book of your own faith cover to cover instead of taking the word of your religious leader(s) on good faith alone. Precisely why my pastor(and many others) says regularly to follow him in the book and to check him in the book in case he is in error or caused confusion and he openly invites anyone to dialogue with him about it. Read your Bible but also read the Quran. You learn that the artifact is genuine by studying it first,not by studying the counterfeit first.

Also the quran clearly states that if a muslim doesn’t understand something or is unsure they should go to the Christians for clarification. Do Muslims do that? Do they tell their fellow Christian acquaintances to judge by the gospel? No and no. This goes against the quran’s teachings.

Dr. Wood! I had been a Muslim for ~3 years, converting after briefly learning about the religion (mainly the history and politics of it) for about 2 years. After nearly 3 years of committed practice, I have stepped away. Not because of your content but out of my own study of the Quran, Sunnah, and Tafsir. I spent the past ~3 years devoting myself to the idea of Submission to God for having misunderstood the Gospel. All this time I refused to let any bias about my former Christian faith deter me from following what I had thought was the Absolute Truth. And my method worked better than I expected. Without any bias, I learned Islam full heartedly thinking it would bring me closer to Jesus and the way He worshiped The Father. The more and more I learned, the more everything turned out to be a Religion that is baseless without Hadith, and a Theology that cannot stand on its own without Human Made tafsir, which are absolutely deceptive. The Tafsir will interpret a passage of the Quran in a way that favors Islamic Doctrine/Shariah, despite it contradicting completely what the words of the Text are saying. So it was clear to me that the Quran may have began as a true revelation for the Arabs, but was corrupted by Sick, Power Hungry Men who twisted the Meaning of their own Scripture to benefit Their Needs. And they accuse Christians of this precise crime against God. Also, if that wasn’t enough, the Hadith make of Muhammad an Intercessor and a “Saint”, in a sense, as Muslims send prayers to him Daily, 5 times a day, for his Favor and Intercession on the Day of Judgment. But never mind if Catholics pray to Mary for Intercession between the Son and the Father, that’s clearly “worship”. So the Hadith make the religion a practice of Hypocrisy, the Tafsir twist their scripture, and the Quran itself is all over the place, mistaking historical figures, events, and even ideas/doctrine (i.e., Mary, Jesus, and God being the Trinity in the Quran). Thus, it cannot be from an All Knowing God. Well, I guess, i also want to apologize for having been harsh to you at one point on X. You may have blocked me, idk haha! God bless you bro!

I feel so bad for you that you’re taking these arguments seriously. The elite bishops and learned rabbis are actually well-aware that “Islam” is the truth and was revealed by the Creator. That’s why the Quran repeatedly says, “Those *learned* in the Scripture” recognize that the Quran is from the One and Only, and that Muhammad is a true prophet. May Allah guide you, O lost soul!

@@Eesa_is_the_Messenger_of_Allah I'm not a supporter of David Wood, But tell me, what is the name of God according to the Quran.... every chapter except one starts with bismillah, And yet not one verse reveals God's name, but according to The Bible it's over 7000 times recorded as JEHOVAH.... So where does the quran say the name of God? This is a minor truth, It's very important and the Quran is silent on it, if it was the same God who wrote both books don't you think he would mention his name again.

@@leecooper3852 First of all, it’s not “Jehovah”, it’s “Yhwh”. The whole idea that the Quran doesn’t mention “Yhwh” is a lie and comes from those who are ignorant of Hebrew and Arabic. “Yhwh” (יהוה) is not a special name. It merely means “He will be” or “O He Is” (ياهو) in Arabic. It’s a title for the Creator and nothing more. In fact, some Sufi Muslim sects actually use this word in their dhikr and chant “Ya Huwa!” (“O He is!”). If you remove the masculine verbal prefix י from “Yhwh”, you’re left with הוה (a spelling variation of הוא, “Hu” aka هو) meaning “He”, or “He is”, and that word is used to refer to Allah all over the Quran, including Surah ikhlas. So yes, “Yhwh” is mentioned in the Quran, and the wordplay with the name “Zechariah” at the 2nd verse of surah Maryam proves that the author of the Quran was well aware of this name. Now show the name “Yhwh” being mentioned in the New Testament.

@@Eesa_is_the_Messenger_of_Allah the Devine name with the full vowels has been found in the Alepo codex and it reads Yehovah in Hebrew...and Jehovah in English, so what does the Quran call gods name?...you wrote a lot but still did answer the question... Zech·a·riʹah means Jehovah Has Remembered...so I suppose Gods name is mentioned in the Quran but not as you understand it.....also all that you wrote didn't explain why muslims insist Gods name is Allah...this is a title not a name...Yehovah/Jehovah is an ACTUAL name, it means "He Causes To Become" or purposer...to summarise it.

Extremely interesting material being pointed out here. So the Quran doesn't invalidate the Torah or the Gospel. Understood. Why, then, should we ignore the Torah or Gospel in favor of the Quran? The Gospel clearly stipulates that there is no more revelations coming, unlike the old Testament that clearly mentions the arrival of the Messiah starting in the book of Daniel. Therefor, God does not leave the door open to anything new after the Gospel. Also, the Gospel clearly states that if anyone comes with any other gospel, "let him be cursed" in Galatians 1, verse 8. So the Quran clearly seems to validate a book that in turn invalidates the Quran. Can anyone tell me if I'm understanding this correctly.

You know … this “Allah gave Jesus injeel” could come from this: God gives Moses “the Torah”, and the word “torah” in the basic sense means “instruction” or “doctrine.” So God gave Moses the instruction. God gave Jesus ALSO the instruction, which some called “new covenant” or some called “good news” - gospel. Thus: “Allah gave Jesus new instructions” or the new covenant or good news aka “enjeel”. Problem solved. We are commanded to obey/ be guided by Jesus’ law/instruction/ injeel. Now: remember that Jesus is the Word of God, and the Word of God is Eternal. Thus: Jesus’ Guidance/instruction is Eternal. Therefore -/ not only the Jews and Christians - but the MUSLIMS are commanded to obey Enjeel. Go right ahead dear Muslim friends: obey the eternal Guidance of Christ, as the Quran advises.

Good intentions, but it's an anachronism. "This book" in Revelation refers to...the book of Revelation. It doesn't refer to the Bible as a whole.

@@natanmoses674 That is certainly true about the Qur'an, but the argument that Revelation contains a prohibition against "adding to the Bible" is false. Deuteronomy says something similar, and obviously writings were added beyond that. It's just a bad argument.

@@apologeticsroadshow David, the answer to your video is obvious. Don't you understand that Matthew Mark Luke and John are not Jesus? Does the Qur'an mention these people even once? No! He says he sent the gospel to JESUS, not to these men. Therefore, they only provided NARRATIONS of what Jesus said and the bible is thus on the same level as the Hadiths. Clearly what is in the Islamic hadiths was changed from the original message. Clearly there's many inconsistencies between the hadiths and the Qur'an, so it's wrong even for Muslims to follow them as if they were the word of God, when they're only the word of man. Clearly the bible that exists today is just a narration and a similarly modified version of Jesus's original message. And they still change it today with the different versions they produced and also other things like the Nicean Creed that was produced in the 4th century, which not all denominations of Christians even agreed with, and by which the church invented the blasphemous trinity. Today there's unitarian denominations of Christians that still reject that corruption.

@@apologeticsroadshow So what the Qur'an tells you to do as a Christian is to judge by what you've got. This doesn't mean you've got the original, but it's saying that God sent the original to Jesus. And ultimately what you're supposed to do is come to realise that today there is no more guiding light in your bible. What you have at this point is just confusion, which is why you have so many denominations of Christians, each church interpreting it differently. Even if you look at the holiest place in Christianity, which is the church of the holy sepulchre, that building is owned today by what, six different types of churches? Why is that? It's because they can't even agree with each other who is right about God Almighty

They're supposed to realise that all they have are narrations by third parties of what Jesus did, and thus they're supposed to come to the Qur'an as the true Word of God, rather than simply the Word of Man, which is the leftovers of what they have And by the way, we ALSO know that the gospel that exists today is just the word of man because its original is in Greek, which was the language that the pagans spoke, not the Jews. So the Christian bible is literally written by pagans and so of course it was influenced by idolatry and that's how you get blasphemy like the trinity in it, which is something that was NEVER part of any Jewish tradition on the nature of who God is. But Allah says that we have no ground to stand upon unless we stand upon the Bible (Quran 5:68), and he says that we read about Muhammad in the Bible (7:157). But you say that there's no guiding light in the Bible that Allah tells us is our only ground to stand on. Seriously, do you think you're a Muslim when you play with Allah's words as if they're a joke? Show some respect for your own god at least.

When Muslims claim only their sheiks and imams can know or understand the Quran we reach many problems immediately. Was Allah the worst of communicators that only the highly educated can understand his book? Usually when humans say "only that guy can understand the words of a god" we are calling them a prophet - having a u ique or special connection with their God. But I thought Mohommad was supposed to be the only prophet of Allah? 🤔 Also why not read the Quran and hadiths themselves and seek wisdom and connection with Allah? Islam isn't about Allah, it's about Mohommad. It isn't about seeking wisdom or truth, it's about taking power and material wealth. You have to actively shut off your brain and your heart to follow Islam and claim that it is right and good.

Ask them what language can they speak? And ask them why is it that you can understand the person that speaks your language and not a person that speaks of a different language you do not speak?what conversation can you speak with someone that is having a conversation with you of a different language.That is why when you are reading you always take the book you can read and not of a different language you do not speak, that is how we educate ourself, why not the quaran? What's even more ridiculous is that the Muslims use noncanonical Gospels to tell the story of Christ, for example they say he crafted clay birds and brought them to life when he was a child. This directly comes from The Infancy Godspel of Thomas, a known false gospel. This alone shows that Muhammad is not a real prophet and that Islam is not the true religion.

Wait. . .if God places mercy in the hearts of those who follow the gospel. . .and he told Moses that He will only show mercy to those who follow the Unlettered prophet with whom light was sent to fill the world who was laid out in the gospel and the Torah. And Jesus is the way the truth and the life who brought with him the holy spirit, and we Christians are the ones who have mercy in our hearts and so have been showed mercy that we would have it. . . wait, does the Quoran confirm that Jesus is the Christ, Yeshua is the Messiah?

I guess it is very simple for Muslims, they have 2 options, either believe that the Gospel is the Word of God and not corrupted and then, naturally, reject the Quran or invent that the Gospel is corrupted and keep believing in the Quran. Consistencies are naturally boring and useless. The idea that the Quran is corrupted is too much for most of them, very unfortunately, so they just choose the second option.

This separation is serious, it makes our soul go to the same place where Satan and his angels went when they sinned against God and that is Hell. Yet God, out of His mercy, decided to send His Son to our world, so that He would die and go to Hell instead of us, however, because the Son is perfectly sinless, He did not stay in Hell, He was resurrected and now every one of us, humans, who joins Jesus no longer has to end down to Hell because Jesus went there for you.

I love this verse in the Quran and think that every Jew, Christian, and Muslim should know it: Surah 22:46 "Have they not travelled throughout the land so their hearts may reason, and their ears may listen? Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but it is the hearts in the chests that grow blind." It shouldn't be about whether you are a Christian or not. Or whether you are a Muslim or not. Or even a Jew. Dogma is not the Way. The Way in within. In the Homilies of Clement Peter said, "For he is within the mind of every one of us, but in those who have no desire of the knowledge of God and His righteousness, He is inoperative; but He works in those who seek after that which is profitable to their souls, and kindles in them the light of knowledge. Wherefore seek Him first of all; and if you do not find Him, expect not that you shall learn anything from any other. But He is soon found by those who diligently seek Him through love of the truth, and whose souls are not taken possession of by wickedness. For He is present with those who desire Him in the innocence of their spirits, who bear patiently, and draw sighs from the bottom of their hearts through love of the truth; but He deserts malevolent minds, because as a prophet He knows the thoughts of every one. And therefore let no one think that he can find Him by his own wisdom, unless, as we have said, he empty his mind of all wickedness, and conceive a pure and faithful desire to know Him. I would like to know what your thoughts are on Jesus. And how can the Quran verify the gospel so many times but deny that Jesus died for our sins and is God the son. I'm a truth seeker not an argument seeker😢

I think this revelation might start a Movement similar to the Renaissance and the church, where people start to read the Bible and don’t take it just from their religious leaders and interpret the Qur’an what ever way they like. We could see a Muslim Protestant reformation in the next centuries or just the dissolution of the religion.

One other issue people will run into with Muslims (and even many uninformed Christians) that “the Gospel” refers to one or more written books. But that is not what the word meant. It literally means “good news,” and the “good news” is that the Messiah died for our sins to give us eternal life. And this idea is found not just in the books called “gospels,” but in Paul’s letter, Peter’s letters, John’s letters, Hebrews, Acts, and even the Old Testament.

@@VinaySharma-hi5fs After increasing interference from YT, he finally got fed up with them censoring and banning his videos, and suspending his YT channel. He set up an independent webchannel, funded by subscribers, and is busier than ever making content, without interference from YT. He said before he left that after a few months he would start releasing some of his new content to several different YT channels (in order to get around YT bans). He also does a lot of guest spots on other channels, independent and YT.

The more I immerse myself in this literature, the more it seems a possibility that Mohammed actually believed, or was instructed, that the Gospels and Torah were consistent with what he was putting into Arabic except he had no idea, and no easy way to find out, and aware that most/all Arabic speakers he knew would never read the Gospels and/or the Torah! It also seems that the Gospels were written by Jesus as revealed to him, not, many years later, partly, at least, passed on by word of mouth. This simple knowledge alone could have allowed Allah/Mohamed to make an easy point of corruption of the Gospels.

I spoke to a Muslim once and he told me the Bible has been corrupted. I told him I read from the King James Bible and he got quiet. I asked what part of the KJV is corrupt and he could not give me an answer.

Their religious leaders teach them a number of one-line attacks to use against other faiths, but they have absolutely no idea about the facts relating to those attacks. They never bother to look anything up, and don't care if they are lies. When you try to find out what the basis of their claims are they quickly jump to another one-line attack. Their aim is simply to ridicule others and avoid any discussion of their own texts. When you pin them down on a solid fact about their cult founder they become angry and aggressive.

@@Broadside175 "they could say Bible was changed" Translations don't mean the original texts have been "corrupted", as cult members claim. Christians have their earliest texts (Greek) as a fundamental reference, and these do not "change". Christians are free to translate from those reference texts into as many modern languages as they like, but serious study of the Bible requires being able to read the original Greek. No-one says the muslims "corrupt" their quran by translating it, but they will use that excuse when criticising others.

@@Broadside175 Glad to help. Once you understand how they lie, it is easy to dissect their claims and expose them as lies. The entire cult is lies wrapped in threats. Another useful aspect to understand is that they view Christian and Jewish scripture from the perspective given by their quran. In the quran, the Torah and Gospel are described as books that were given by god to specific prophets, and were composed entirely of the exact words of their god. If you try and tell them this is nonsense they will insist they are right (because the quran is "the truth"), and then argue that the Jews and Christians must have lost their books and now use corrupted versions. This claim not only circumvents all the obvious contradictions between quran and Torah/Gospel but adds to the list of things they use to denigrate others. Their book tells them that non-believers are "filth" and "the worst of creatures" and all of them should be fought/subjugated/enslaved or killed.

It's amazing how you can see Satan trying his best to twist words for the Quran to discredit Jesus and the Gospel and Torah, but even after writing the Quran which I'm shore was by Satan's hand. He still can't even lie about Jesus and the Gospel. Amen!

Wow. I am so glad I found this channel. This is all the info that I need to guide converted Muslim family members back to the light.

One point worth mentioning, since the Gospel and the Torah were not corrupted in the time of Mohamed maybe they've been corrupted after. All we have to do is to show Muslims manuscripts older than Mohamed and to point out they are identical whit the scripture we have today. Like the Death Sea scrolls or Septuagint or second and third century Greek manuscripts. Check mate Islam!
