Yeah, funny that they want to pretend that with all that makeup is "real life". Frankly, I think it was for the best they used somewhat unattractive women for the show. Because I doubt many of the women in prison look like Diane Guerrero, the only truly attractive one in the cast. (She's as dingy in real life as she is in the show, so it's a good thing for her that she has her looks.)

I just started watching this show and am kicking my self for not watching this show. It is so good, i can not stop watching. I am only up to the second season and absolutely amazed at how these wonderful cast whom I adore with their brilliant acting, are able to keep this show so interesting.

Basically everybody on this list is "a little more glam" in real life

I was just thinking the same exact thing. Of course on their days off they look nothing like their characters on the show, they have to look glamorous on the red carpet they are stars so they look the part ,when they're at award ceremonies they where designer dresses or outfits they are after all actors so you know they have to look like the part or close to what a prisoner is expected to look like on a show about women in prison.

They miss out the actual "Real Life" of Nichols, which is pretty similar to her on screen life.. Like yeah, they look different; what a surprise; but Nichols is the only character where her character mirrors real life

I have always noticed that many women who wears A Lot OF MAKE-UP just looks worse or not bad but not the greatest. I think all the cast look good in a way but then those some pics was like whaat?? :) Less is more (make-up)except of those horrible drug addicts on the show :D

Good for you. The show was very good. I'm sick of every black person making a racist comment. They have their own channels to watch. Ignorance will never make them see any more different. They don't want to.

Freaking awesome, I have nothing but shock and awe to say. There's so much good stuff to comment, I'll never be finished. I love all of the character. it's amazing how real life is brought to a set. Thank you. PS except for like 3 or 4 guards that left me feeling bad for the girls.

All these actresses did phenomenal really played tf out of their role especially crazy eyes
