I think that part of the deal was to make a Mando and sell him in the BOBF packaging for the mural for that line and then produce a similar (but slightly different)figure in the Mandalorian line for that mural. Not including the jetpack for the Mines of Mandalore figure is unforgivable though because he uses the jetpack in that sequence to get from the surface into the mines. I also feel like the Glavis ring world figure should have included the beskar spear, which he had during the scene in the slaughterhouse.

This figure has always seemed like a waste, it’s just the worse Glavis Mando on the surface level, idk why you would choose this new one over the Glavis one

I never got glavis never saw it but we found this one I got it its my first mando since the sh figuarts beskar one I like it and won't get glavis causei have this one... because of season 3 and how it ended w the jet pack and all the scenes mando doesn't have the jet pack this figure covers

I’m always so suprised to see how many prefer a plastic cloak over a soft goods one. I much prefer cloth but each to their own

Just picked up a mines of mandalore one from Walmart.

I found the mines of Mandalore fig in store and almost bought it on accident thinking it was the glavis one. I immediately went online and ordered the glavis fig. It’s so much nicer than the original mando fig I got a couple years back!

IMHO sculpted capes/robes are better If it’s a character that’s supposed to stand in a neutral pose anyway. For instance prequel sidious or Nute Gunray. I’m never gonna pose them in an action pose, and soft goods would just make it look cheap and baggy. But if it’s like Vader or maul I like just enough fabric to keep things poseable.

I didn’t know the glavis ring world one existed when I picked up the mines of mandalore one. I just made a quick cloth cape and borrowed a jetpack from a death watch figure I had. A little silver paint and it doesn’t look bad

That Ringworm version is fire! It's a reat pity Black series do not give alternative hands like Marvel Legends! That would be the best 6 inch Mando imo

The Mando with plastic cape its great to pose the cape like is blowing with the wind. This time is thick, so when bend it on the back, you can create great blowing effects. Much better than with the cloth!!!

I found the version with the plastic cape and was curious the difference so I scooped him up and when I opened it I noticed he was super gummy compared to the clothe cape version but then remembered I left in my car for an hour in 80 degree heat, durp. Both versions are cool and I gained a new perspective from you wiht Hasbro offering two different versions for collectors with a preference.

I’ve been debating Beskar Mandos for a while. Still haven’t bought one. I still love my original pre-Beskar figure and even the credit collection one with the weird colors. I wish I could explain why I love those so much more.

I always wanted the ringworld figure because my only other Mando figure was the model kit from s2 which broke but i never found it so when i cam across the new one i didn't hesitate. I did change out the cape for a McFarlane dc multiverse bat fleck cape and it looks good even though it's not accurate.

Is that homemade cape still available? xD I wouldn't say no to more variation in my cape collection.

Is the articulation any different on the 2 figures?

Dude, I love your videos, they're always fun and educational. I found the glavis ringworld Mando at target not long ago and I was so happy!!!! I was after that figure for days. The mines of mandalore one is cool but I want that soft goods cape and jetpack, it's such a cool feature and I've been waiting for Hasbro to give us a Mando figure with a cloth cape. I finally have my definitive Mando on the shelf.

I don't really want to pay more for a fig plus shipping, so I'll just have to stay on the hunt I guess 🤷. I don't always trust with Amazon that I'll get a legit fig either. I think the mines of mandalor Mando doesn’t come with a back back because in the final episode of s3 he loses his jet pack. But I am not sure
