I know this is a long time since you posted this but bro this is preseason I wasn't much expecting for this team to be all out and preseason knowing that what's more important is the regular season especially seeing how they had to deal with a huge schedule dealing with playing games not only for MLS but league's cup and champion league. Not to mention that Messi also had to deal with practicing and training for Copa America

I mean if those bad preseason games results in a good season for Miami then I think they will take it. One team that pisses me off is Leon. We are currently the worse defense with 17 goals allowed and our only two wins came in the last few minutes.

It’s almost as if the purpose of preseason games is to warm up for the real thing and try new tactics, play new or different players and see how things will fit going forward. How dare a team not play their preseason like their prime Barcelona in a CL final?

To be brutally honest, you have never played pro or semipro to understand the fatigue of playing all the time. Specially, at the age they are at now. They have done it all in their careers and now it’s just to keep us happy. This sport is changing a lot.

This is sooooo flawed. When teams like Real Madrid, Bayern, and Barcelona tour the world, no one cares if they win. They want to see their favorite team or players play, mostly so they can say that they’ve witnessed them first hand. Those games are friendlies and the result has no bearing on anything. I do think people are hoping for goals though since there is obvious entertainment in “greatness”. So while he focused on “winning” I will agree with his lesser point of “scoring”
