real world of a reseller! 14 sales one day and 0 the next!

I appreciate your transparency about how long your items actually took to sell. I noticed many youtubers like to make their what sold videos sound like their items sell overnight when they actually take months.

It's nice to see somebody selling. I haven't been listing, I've been trying to get my garden cleaned, property mowed & cleaned up & garden planted. I live on 1 1.5 acres and I'm in my 60's with lots of back problems. The only time I get a sale on ebay is when I made some purchases on garden gloves and things I needed. It was weird, each time I bought something, I would get a sale. Never noticed that before but it happened 3 times in a row.Haven't had a Posh sale since May. I only have about 45 listing on Posh right now. As soon as I finish planting my garden Im going to start listing for fall Happy Summer everyone.

How is it possible to still make that much on Poshmark? We closed our closet on Sunday after 11 years. We have seen too many changes and the shows totally killed our business. Mercari ("no sell fees"....YAY) and Depop is much more profitable for us. We have followed you for 4 years and your suggestions made us a lot of money on Poshmark until about a year ago. Our monthly deposits were between $700 to $900 a month. We started seeing changes about a year ago. Our last deposit was $16 for two months. LOL

Im actually making good sales on Poshmark. I spend the majority of my posh work time doing research on what’s selling right now. then I go source those items. It’s not rocket science, lol. Use Stock photos, Use a good VA. Relist your items. Take the time to create an awesome listing. Most of my items sell within 30 days.

Then, you're doing it wrong and not evolving. I never have more than 110 items for sale at any given time and consistently make about 700 a week, on average. Sell stuff people want. It's that simple. Don't just sell run-of-the-mill crap. Be choosy. Curate. Only sell stuff that you'll have the only color, style or size of. It's that simple.

I have sold 64 listings on posh this month. I listen to the pros and use their tips and I have gone from 5 sales a month to this in one year. It can be done.

Honestly I love all your videos. I am always learning from you but what sold are very helpful and enjoyable to watch. You are doing an amazing job have 2 under age 2 and a 2 month old at that. Your realness is everything!

Who do use, for cross listing?

I make my own items that i sell on Poshmark so i am not in competition with other sellers near as much.

On jeans I check the hems for wear first and then inside to look for selvaged which are highly desirable and sell for more $$

Hello, do you use promoted closet on Poshmark?

Could you do a video sometime about how you calculate COG for items you get at the bins and then trade to Crossroads for better items? I'm starting to do something similiar and just cannot figure out a great way to calculate the COG for the items I bring home from the Buy Sell Trade store.

Would you consider making a video about how to hire help?

I prioritize What Sold videos over all other content. Question though, why do you still offer free shipping on Mercari even after they send printable 4x6 labels now? Is it so you don't have to determine weight when listing? Just curious. Thanks for another great vid!

No... everyone has a different pricing structure, it just depends on what you're comfortable with. There really isn't a right or wrong. Some sellers price very high and can offer up to a 50% off discount and then others (myself included) only build about a 20 to 30% discount in the pricing. People expect to do some back-and-forth in terms of offers so you wanna make sure you've got some wiggle room in your pricing, but it doesn't have to be a massive amount 😊

I”m new to this game and not really in in just for the money, I enjoy the “hunt” and finding great things that would have ended up in the landfill but I dont really want to just give it away and be someones shopper. I want interest in my closet because I’m not on other social platforms, but I think I’ve been pricing too low, because when I do have likes, I’m offering 10 % discounts and wait for closet clear out days, but usually there’s crickets!!? I find when my stuff sells, theres no haggling at all.

So if you cross list to every platform how do you change your item to free shipping on Mercari? Is there a bulk edit button for this? I just used Mercari’s bulk cross lister. However it is putting shipping on all my items. Is there a way to change this without going there each item one by one. Thanks.

Can I ask everyone what they think of Depop? I think that's my next move. I'm staying off Ebay. No one speaks highly of Mercari. I love Poshmark. I would love to make more money but as a PT reseller if I net $200 and can save for vacations and to spend on my Granddaughter I'm happy. Any info on how you do on Depop would be great. Thanks.
