I love it too! I used to have a really cheap one from Walmart and whenever I would put a decent amount of clothes on it would fall over. Investing in a decent one really pays off! ❤️

I love watching your haul videos! You found some great vintage pieces. Do you check comps for those the same way you do for current pieces? I’ve found vintage at my local thrift but I’m never sure if they’re good items to get.

So happy you're enjoying the videos. Great question! When it comes to my vintage and style based pick ups I'm more so going with my gut and previous experiences than I'm with looking up comps. There have been times where I've looked up comps for a vintage item and the sell-through rate and price point was low but then my item ended up selling for a good amount of money and fast. I'd just make sure that you're using all the keywords that tie into your vintage item.❤️

I don't know how all of their vintage items do for Eddie Bauer but their vintage maxi dresses in size XL were performing really well. Definitely worth checking comps on the next time you're shopping. ❤️

Hmmm. For some vintage items I've noticed that you have to wait for the right buyer to come along. Both of my dresses that I picked up are extra large so that's what I based my comp search on, so that might make a difference too. ❤️

Thank you for getting back to me. When I see what you’re finding at thrift stores and the price that you’re paying I am SO envious. I live In California and items are priced individually so jackets can be anywhere from $15-$40 or more. Jeans can run from 15 to 25. Shoes if they’re anything decent would be priced anywhere from 20 to 50. It’s very discouraging especially for a less than a year seller. What city are you in? I think you live in Utah. I’m almost tempted to fly there just to experience some success 🙄

Oh no I'm so sorry that would be so frustrating! I've heard that California prices are really high. Do you have a bins/ outlet near by? I'm from Washington. ❤️

I am out west and find a lot of cowboy boots. Many wear them as everyday footwear here and sadly they're often really beat up except the dress boots. A lot of high-end cowboy boots in exotic skins are often custom made and you simply have to have a lot of people try them on to determine size. I generally don't sell kids clothes but if I can find a pair of kids cowboy boots in good condition they'll sell almost immediately. My favorite brand to find in women's is Old Gringo. Last week I sourced a pair of Lucchese ostrich cowboy boots for $9 (25% off day) in pristine like new condition. Retail is around $1,200. They are also in EE width which should make for a quicker sale.

I don't remove any marker marks on labels or the soles of shoes. I personally don't think it matters to the buyers very much. But I have seen other people use wet wipes.❤️

Hey! I do pick up Calvin Klein career wear dresses and there is also a high end Calvin Klein line that's made in Italy and retails for big bucks that I've found one time. As for Tommy Hilfiger I've personally haven't found anything in that brand worth picking up. ❤️🥰

But they are all in a Cliche and would ban around the new and existing bins, and throw elbows, and if you react then all of them are against you

How can you tell simply by looking at a garment that it’s vintage. That’s where I get in trouble

I typically can tell items are vintage just by the style when I'm looking at it and then I can confirm it by the label and material tag. Also vintage items are typically made in the USA. One thing that helped me was I would look up vintage items on eBay and look at the labels and material tags for those so I knew what to look for.

I'd just want to be sure you don't get dinged for keyword spamming of an item that isn't directly related (in this case to the show). If that makes sense. Etsy, as you probably know, is supposed to be just handmade, vintage, and supplies, although, you find a lot of resellers on there as well.
