I found 2 magnolia pearl shirts on the same thrift trip!! Both $6.99... I couldn't believe it! Sold one of the blouses for $225 and the other for $400 !!!! definitely one of my favorite brands to find

I consider Eileen fisher a lagenlook brand too. Of course style, substantiality, and size dependent. A few bolo lagenlook brands that gear toward a younger clientele are Ilana Kohn, Elizabeth Suzann and black crane! Thanks for this video, Mogi!

Bluefish used to be called Barclay! So if you see that it’s for sure a BOLO - even more than bluefish because it’s vintage

I’m in Montana and I just found 2 blue fish maxi dresses for $3.50 each. Have found Cynthia Ashby, Citron, Alembika, Flax & IVKO. Kind of amazing because these brands are rare here.

Also Eskandar is an amazing lagenlook brand. Easily overlooked if you don’t know, but the pants resell for $150-$200! 😉

I would add Jaded Gypsy to this mix! Maybe it's because I've only found it alongside Cynthia Ashby/Alembika/Flax/etc, but I definitely associate it with this look. They definitely skew more boho (à la Magnolia Pearl) occasionally with a more rocker edge and can read a little younger, but still, it shares a lot of lagenlook traits. Most of the styles are very oversized, flowy, artsy; can have art-to-wear elements; the sizing is S/M style (so very flexible); made in the USA (so high retail and high quality); can only be bought through indie boutiques; and commands a high retail AND retains great value for resale. EDIT: And Dress to Kill!!! Totally this vibe and great money, like $120+ for pants. Bryn Walker is also pretty good, more like Eileen Fisher in my experience.

I love Flax! I love finding it because it sells so quick for me and gets so much attention.

I had heard of Bluefish, Citron, Flax, Gudrun Sjogren,but the rest were new to me, so thank you!! I have found Flax and and Gudrun Sjodren-that’s it.

I feel like these Lagenlook brands actually do better than the trendy stuff, perhaps those seeking this style may be of a more mature age and have a bit more to spend? Just sold a pair of Lisa Bayne pants for $75, paid $2. A couple other rare high end lagenlook brands are Ewa i Walla, Ivey Abitz, Rundholz, Gilda Midani, Krista Larson, Terry Macey, Oska and of course top tier Eskander. Thank you for sharing!

I once got a Miele Mintz silk jacket in a thredup rescue box and it sold overnight for $550!!

just wanted to thank you because you did a video and mention DOEN brand and the next day after I watched your video I found 2 DOEN shirts and one already sold within hours of listing. I would have def passed on the items because it was so plain looking. It was on a new rack next to other items that turned out to be bolos as well.. I know you are gonna be a super busy mamma with your two sweet babies, but when you do go on a vacation you should 100% come here to LA!!! It is honestly the best thrifting in the world 😍 I definitely recommend our bins (you will legit cry - I walk in and find a ton of designer, Spell, Essentials, Givenchy, Chanel, etc) and for thrifting and buy sell trade West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area ❤ Also Santa Monica is good for thrifting - but visit Malibu for the beaches and restaurants!

Thank you! What I love is some of these are definitely 'under the radar' brands that many thrifters dont know about and just as important....the thrifts don't mark up! I have found a few pieces of Gudrun Sjoden, they sell super fast...the label is very difficult to read not many people even know what it says!

Thanks for sharing! Of the brands you mentioned, the only one I've found was Citron Santa Monica. I find it often and it always sells at a good price $50-$100 for the silk kimonos or blouses.

Found a pair of pants by Magnolia Pearl a year 1/2 ago for $3.75 😱. It sold for $212 in less than a day…maybe I listed it too low but my margin was wonderful!!

I have found gundre sjoden in the PJ section before. The tunics can be mistaken for nightgowns!

I've recently thrifted 3 Citron pieces and one already sold. They are all plus sizes. One linen and two silks. I've sold Gundren a few times. Have sold lots of Bryn Walker.

I've sold Citron and I agree that the larger sizes perform best. I also like Bryn Walker.

I found an IVKO without knowing what it was pretty recently. It is a larger size, I have it priced up and it is still in my store. Also found Citron a handful of times, FLAX several times (one time I found 10 items in one trip to the thrift store), one Lisa Bayne item in a very small size, two Gundrun Sjoden. It seems the larger items sell much faster and for higher prices than the smaller sized items in these brands. That seems to be pretty consistent with most mature brands.

I am SO SAD! I live in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood and used to find Magnolia Pearl dresses all the time at my local Crossroads/Goodwill but I wasn’t reselling then and confused it with another boutique brand 😢
