I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Thank you for sharing, I was a Wahhabi Muslim and thanks to God I became an Orthodox Christian. I was born in France, and grew up in a North African family, and unfortunately at the age of 21 I experienced Islam which really made me very bad, I had fallen into hatred of others. And following a journey that lasted more than 10 years through the different sects that exist in this religion (Ash'ari, Mu'tazilite etc etc), I finally succeeded, thanks to God, in freeing myself from this religion. after reading the holy gospels in which the figure of jesus christ really struck me. @@cipherklosenuf9242 Wrong. If nothing else, we know that He wrote something in the dirt that made the Pharisees condemning an adulterous woman (wanting to stone her) to walk away peacefully. "Let he, who is without sin, cast the first stone." Aside from that, we actually have far more in the way of historical documents and manuscripts from eyewitnesses about the life, teachings and resurrection of Jesus (including from non-Christian, Roman sources) than we have for literally *any* other ancient historical figure (including any of the Roman emperors or even Alexander the Great). If you can't accept Jesus because of lack of papers penned directly by Him, then, to be intellectually honest, you'd have even *less* reason to believe in *any* other ancient historical figure (given that most of what we know was written about hundreds of years later; by people summarizing their own history books).

I just loved that he was invited to talk religion. And he preach the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ. Got to love that man♥️♥️♥️

Dr Lennox is hilarious! I love his wit.

My husband and I both accepted salvation close to one another. On the brink of prideful divorce. We learned of Jesus' forgiveness of us, and how to forgive one another at that time. Though it's a long process of course to be better at that...but it's a true life changer. All of it, not only the forgiveness and grace but that's the start. ❤ People even have such issues with Genesis....yet it's still forgiveness and grace. I don't know any person but God that would forgive people like we see it in the Bible and our lives. ❤

In one sense you are correct as at baptism our past sins are forgiven, and many call that being 'saved' as they are in a covenant, and good works are the fact of living by faith for salvation. OSAS is one way of looking at baptism. However having past sins forgiven is a promise not confirmed until those baptised die, those who backdlide into sin break the contract and give up their promise.

@@joshuaabels6066 Jesus Himself said that only God the Father knows the time when Jesus will return as King. It's literally in scripture that no human can predict when it will happen. In fact, the one thing that we *do* know about it is that it *will* be a surprise! Food for thought: The point of Jesus waiting until a certain time to return is to give time for as many as possible to come to Him before that time (after which it will be too late). Right now, there are more people currently alive than the *combined* total of all people who have ever died! The harvest of souls (both good and bad) is exponentially growing with each year that He mercifully delays.

❤ We shouldn't* want anything to do with sin. Aren't we all tempted at times? That's wanting to do sinful things, even if it's for the most brief moment...Just being real. God is good all the time. ❤ If we keep our spiritual armor maintained and etc then we have an easier time sticking straight on the path, but I think we all fail. I do agree though...it's about overwhelming desire to BE of good works and to know Jesus, to know YHWH and the Word. Conviction. When people choose to deliberately give into sin that can be a sign they aren't truly saved. Especially if they consistently do so vs study the word etc.

Catholic here, and it is about grace. Goesfastandfar is not far off. The Catholic Church has never taught that we can be saved by works. The speaker’s analogy is misplaced as representative of Catholicism. We don’t work our way to heaven. That said, works definitely matter. Please don’t hold me to this but I believe scripture speaks about good deeds/works being accounted for at death some 10+ x’s? To me its only fitting in justice that in our bad deed, the vise of sin, we must repent. So too, in virtue of holiness, good deeds are required by the denial of self in action for love of God and neighbor. God knows our heart and our walk with Him. As a Catholic who is grateful to be moving deeper into the love of God and stronger faith, my desire to be more virtuous is growing and by his grace my sin will be lessened because grace perfects nature and He is perfecting me if I am willing to cooperate. May the grace of our Lord be poured into all of our hearts!

​@@simonslater9024We are saved by Jesus. That's it. We would naturally crave to know him and do good works IF we are saved, but even unsaved people do that. Because it's not the works that save us. It's consistently accepting that we need Jesus. Sadly most people that think you need works are false. As the Bible says, there will be those crying out to Jesus "we did so many good works in your name!" And he will turn them away saying "you never knew me!" 😢 Many Catholics are choosing pride and deception over truth and others that are into "works-based" don't KNOW the Word. It's very sad.

Faith without work’s is dead. Jesus founded ONE CHURCH the holy Catholic Church. The Bible is a Catholic book the protestant Bible is an incomplete and corrupted Catholic book which I’d rip up. And protestant’s belong to 48,000 protestant CULTS and serve Satan. Only Catholic’s go to Heaven because there’s NO division in paradise. Please look up the history of the Bible and of Catholicism you will see what I’ve said is correct. God bless.

In biblical Christianity Jesus did all the work. In today's world it can be hard to find a good biblical church. I mean, Buddhism does the rebirth thing. But they don't work with grace ...it's works-based only. Also Buddhism and most other religions say they believe in Jesus in some way. Lol That is what's interesting to me. ❤ And all religions I know of have ideas that mimick Christianity/Judaism in substantial ways. Or they seem to worship fallen angels. It's one of the other, or a mix. There's records of the Jewish people honoring God with animal sacrifices before the Paegans. Unless you buy into the b.s. of carbon dating where they claim they know civilizations that are hundreds of thousands of years old. 😂

R C Sproul once did a term paper in seminary and quoted the hymn line Infinite grace of our loving Lord, and got a C on it. Why? 1. You quoted a hymn not Scripture, hymns are not the Word of God. 2. Grace is NOT infinite, it has limits.

New Christian here, and I could truly use some wisdom. I understand everything that was said here, and I love your content. I have truly found I knew love for God and Jesus, and 3 weeks ago, I felt like I was called back to him after stepping away from my faith after a bad break up and relapsing from my drug of choice. It's been 4 weeks that i have not touched it again after having hands laid on me, and I'm feeling crazy pressure from the enemy to do it again..im discouraged.. I can hear my thoughts tell me it's not a big deal if I do it again for just 1 night to help calm myself, and to have a break, and that God will forgive me..but I also do not want to disappoint him, or myself, or my new Christian friends.. I'm so conflicted within myself the past 2 days and it wont let up. The last 3 weeks have been such a blessing..blessings on top of blessings.. I'm not looking for sympathy but some wisdom from fellow brothers and sisters in how they have overcome this type of thing and the thoughts that I'm having. If God forgives so easily, how is that going to help me stay away..Im afraid, but also feel like I need a break from everything that's happened to me in the last 3 weeks and I just want to not feel what I'm feeling. Thank you to anyone who could give me some advice or wisdom 🙏

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. As a fellow addicted myself, I have been where you are and I know it is a very difficult time and thing to go through. By the Grace of God I have been able to stay away from it for 15 yrs. Now, the only thing that kept me from going back in those first few days, weeks and months was to realize that nothing good will come from using. It will give you instant gratification but at what cost? My advice is to reach out to your new found Christian friends your mentioned or any close friends that understand your situation and are willing to help you avoid relapse. Stay strong brother and God bless

Read the Bible! Now! The only thing that helps me defeat the devil whispering in my ear is the Sword of the spirit aka the word of God! Ephesians 6:13-17 James 4:7 “Resist the devil and he will flee”! (I repeat this verse over and over out loud!) 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” These are my go to verses when I am being spiritually attacked or tempted by evil thoughts. Keep on the narrow path friend!

Just pray, It will help for sure. Take a 30 minutes every day and be persistent, focus on the prayer and be humble in the prayer. Also that might help is to think what would Jesus do in that situation. He is the way, truth and life. God bless.

You are saved by God through your faith in him. If you do your drug of choice again you are forgiven. Being that you are “struggling” with sin is already positive. You know it is wrong. The question is how to now stop. It’s hard - super hard! Pray on God as I will now for you as well, and if you feel as though you are succumbing to the desire to give in, I would call on your Christian friends instantly to pray for you. I would also make the decision go get as far away from the drug. Throw it our, break it, run away from it, whatever it takes for it to not be near. There’s a rule in nutrition coaching, that whatever is in the pantry will eventually be eaten. So do not let the drug “be in the pantry”. I hope this helps

What exactly makes Christianity a religion and not a way of living a life of the Spirit with Christ Jesus, in God, is simply because a religion is observed with many different sets of rules and rituals. Whereas, being just a Believer makes fellowship easy and accessible with God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ the Son, by the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. Not in or of works of any kind by you, but by simply standing on His finished work of salvation on the cross of Calvary.

Salvation/justification comes by believing (having faith) in the blood that Christ (the Lamb of God) shed for the forgiveness of sins and the finished work that Christ completed on the cross also that he rose on the third day conquering death. Works come after we are saved and once we are saved we are always saved, because nothing or no one can snatch us out of his hand. Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

No. Night and day are cyclical as a result of the Earth's rotation. As a consequence, the statement that one must pass through daylight to reach the restful comfort of darkness is equally true. Philosophically, darkness does NOT equate to evil nor does light equate to good.

Actually your good works do play a role in your salvation. The part you missed and many Christians miss and don't understand today, is that your salvation is not just a free gift..it is also a reward. Therefore you do have to do good works. Because only faith working in love will complete your justification. It's not by faith alone.

The mercy of God is beautiful in light of justice. Would God be good if he looked at everyone who sinned against you and said who cares it's not a big deal. No. He is good because He is just - as seen in His wrath poured out on Jesus. He is good because of His mercy in sending His son to bring you back to Himself. Same God. Loving. Holy. Just. Merciful.

Sin isn't minor infractions but the consequences of unrighteousness. You wouldn't wouldn't consider murder, harm, stealing, lying , manipulating and rape to be minor infractions of anyone would you especially if they're done to you or someone you care about.

Sin is literally anything that is outside of, or opposed to, the nature and character of God Himself. God is literally the *source* of all that is "good" or wholesome. In one of His parables, Jesus compared Hell to Gehenna, the garbage dump outside of Jerusalem that was constantly on fire. Those who cannot accept Him, and His holy nature, are sent to the only place where He is not present. To force those who reject Him, and who cannot abide holiness, to remain in His presence for eternity would be unjust and cruel. Much of the actual suffering of those in Hell is simply a result of turning away from the source of all that is actually good (God). If the only thing left for them is ashes, that is not God's fault! He did, after all, pay for a way back to Him, should they not refuse it!

All you have to do is restate the point that you think that I'm trying to make with my original comment, then correlate that novella that you wrote as it directly relates to what you perceived my original comment to be intending. And this will show if that whole novella that you wrote had nothing to do with what I actually said. If I was to predict the outcome of that I'm going to imagine that you actually didn't understand the point that was actually being made. And that most of what you said had actually nothing to do with my point and it was merely you trying to proselytize.

I think it just depends on where you are in life. Most people that watch these videos that don’t believe secretly want to believe so badly, at least that was my own spot. And from what I’ve seen so many others. One day I looked at the cross at it hit me like a semi what it really meant, it was the most powerful thing I have ever experienced. I was looking for an answer in a way and it was given. I think these videos affect many who just lurk in the comments.

The gospel is for all but not all receive it. People who are acutely aware of their guilt, wretchedness, depravity and moral bankruptcy tend to embrace eternal and perfect forgiveness. Self righteous people who believe they are good enough and I innocent don’t see any need for forgiveness.

5:56 well this isn't true based on the Christian God. The Christian God doesn't accept you without a certain level of performance. The Christian God requires you to perform the action of acceptance. You cannot get into heaven without accepting Jesus. That's a performance. The Christian God does it just let people in because of its mercy. It only lets people in once they accept its existence and Jesus' existence. If you don't do this performance then you don't get in. See Jesus only forgives your sins after you accept him. Jesus doesn't forgive your sins before you accept him. So when Jesus says that he's died on your cross for your sins it's not really true. He only died for your sins if you accept that he died for your sins. For everyone who doesn't accept it he didn't die for them people. So to bring it back to the point, you do need a certain level of performance to get into the Christian heaven. That performance is in accepting Jesus.

The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. Why shouldn't an atheist who lives a good life enter heaven? Is Jesus' ego like Hitler? It's how you live your life that matters, not whose ass you kiss.

The grace of God is not getting what you do deserve, but actually getting what you don't deserve.

If his wife was sleeping around would he still have a relationship ? Jesus said repent and believe in the Gospel. We are saved by grace but we still have to cooperate with that grace. We enter a marriage, but to stay in that marriage we still have to love our spouse, choose to do the right thing every day.

He was giving a basic outline comparison with most other religions in front of an audience of mostly secularists. He wasn't getting into the nitty gritty of Christian theology. He said nothing incorrect. Don't throw a stumbling block to those who are wooed by the love of Christ. The love of Christ is what often brings people to repentance
