Not a High School, but my elementary school had one incident I won't forget about. Two 5th Graders went to the bathroom at the same time and found a ladder leading up into the ceiling because they were fixing some lighting panels. They decided to climb up the latter and crawl around in the ceiling, but they crashed down in the foyer right in front of the office. From that point onward, all the classes required you to sign your name before you could leave to go to the bathroom, and only one student was allowed out of each classroom at a time.

In elementary, there were gunshots near the school, even though there weren't any recent shootings, the police were obviously called and sent to school. We were stuck on the busses for an hour, police circling the school. It was so stressful for 6th grade me, and I feel horrible knowing it was incomparable to people who have survived the real thing. This year, the school was newly built, this is the first year with students attending, even then, during the first few weeks there were still some stuff being built (exit signs, sinks, ect.). So I'm in my 6th hour, when apparently someone installing a sign trips a wire sending off the intruder alarm. I grabbed my phone, ran to our classrooms designated spot for lockdowns, and phoned my mom, who had just gotten an automatic alert that there is an intruder in my school. Through muffled sobs, I only got to whisper 'I love you mom' before the teacher grabbed my phone and hung up. A few minutes later it stopped and a email was sent to parents saying that it was only a drill. I feel bad for my mom, before she got the email, she was halfway to my school to get me the fuck out of there.

Though I’m sure your mom had good intentions to try and “get you out of there” if it was an actual intruder, she would’ve just put herself in harms way, and get in the way of police (when they’re present), while not being able to get to you anyway because you are locked in a classroom. This is probably why your teacher snatched your phone. Though it’s probably soul crushing, parents shouldn’t run to a school when there’s an intruder.

My small-town American school got covered in the Daily Mail! Some girls decided to play a cruel prank on their friend by taking a page out of the help and baking their own shit into a cake and giving it to their friend. Because most of the girls had already turned 18 by the time it happened, they were all identified. I was completely not surprised since they all had a bad reputation. This next story happened while my brother was in middle school, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details hearing it second- and third-hand. Every year, the middle school has a Civil War week where classes get divided up into Union and Confederates and play competitive games against each other, like dodgeball. This particular year, things got a little too competitive and resulted in a food fight in the cafeteria. Kids were overturning tables for cover, apparently it looked like a combat zone. There were something like 10 expulsions and another 10-20 suspensions.

When I was in 12th grade my school had a lockdown drill. One of the teachers got annoyed students weren't taking it seriously and started shouting someone had a gun, sending the school into actual lockdown. I and a few friends new it was a drill but for some reason most of the teachers didn't. When we file out to the yard the cops show up, helicopter and all, and storm the school and the school next door, sending them into lockdown. The cops showed up because one kid called his mom, told her he'd see her in heaven, then hung up, prompting the mom to call the cops. Less funny and more serious is a bunch of ninth graders got carted off in ambulances because they brought some water bottles full of vodka to school then got so drunk they nearly died of alcohol poisoning.

Near the end of senior year, the Vice Principal started speaking over the PA, saying something to the effect of "I am so proud of all of you for your courage to come in today..." I was hella confused...until the VP said something along the lines of "the alleged kill list turned out to be a false rumor but the student who had said they were gonna shoot up the school is in custody just in case." This is how I found out that *apparently* someone was planning (or falsely accused of planning? still unclear) to shoot up the school that day. 1/4th of the school just didn't show up that day and 2/3 of the people who showed up already knew about the potential threat, and I was one of the last few students to know. On a lighter (I suppose?) note, just hours before the graduation ceremony, us seniors found out that the school was allowing 12 students who DID NOT MEET GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS to graduate. This includes the boy in Special Ed who was missing 1/4th of the required credits because he just refused to go to school & the boy who had a false SA accusation (as in, the "victim" laughed and told everyone she knew that she lied to fuck with this dude) that failed one required class. While we don't know for certain, looking at everyone who got to graduate who shouldn't have -- it became pretty clear that they were forced to graduate bc the school didn't want to deal with them anymore & didn't want to risk "further scandals."

Not high school but fifth grade. It was my first year in public school after being homeschooled for a while. I had a classmate who sat next to me; he was really sweet and gave me an eraser as a gift (I still have it), but was also quite the troublemaker. He liked to laugh loudly, flop his sweater sleeves against your back in line, drown his fries in ketchup, typical boy things. Most of the people in my class were generally annoyed by him. I was annoyed by him too. This changed when one day, he showed up to class a little late, placed his backpack on the desk, and stepped out, looking more fatigued and miserable than I'd ever seen him. I kept looking over to his desk, wondering if he was okay. He never came back. We found out a month or two later from the school's guidance counselor that he had been admitted to St. Jude's for leukemia and passed away there. The shock and sadness in the room was palpable. I had only known this classmate for a few months, but most of them had known him since kindergarten. It was really hard. Even the teachers couldn't keep a strong facade and all cried in front of us. We read the obituary and one of the kids asked what 'cremated' meant. The teacher told her. The next school year we had another classmate pass away from a weak immune system.

It was my senior year. I was in the internship class every senior has to take and we were looking at our resumes. The principal comes over the loudspeaker and DEMANDS everyone turn their computers off. The Internet and computers were off for a week. It got out that the reason why was we got a trojan horse virus on the server that quickly tried getting out of hand. To this day only a handful of people know the person who did it. The student I sat right next to in the class would plug in a flashdrive she brought from home and open personal files that contained links to adulterated furry anime websites. The whole school server caught a porn virus. The school officials never figured it out

It's a serious matter when accusations like the one you mentioned are made, and it's essential for schools to take such allegations seriously and conduct proper investigations. The school's actions appear to reflect their commitment to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students. Suspension and other measures can serve as a way to address such incidents and maintain the well-being and safety of the school community while allowing for a thorough investigation. Balancing the needs of the affected parties, the accused, and the school's responsibilities is often a complex and challenging process.

6:30 this story reminds me of a Reddit story I watched a video of (can’t remember the video’s title): One day in 2018, a kid wrote on his whiteboard “time to” and then drew a sort of plus symbol in a circle, kinda like the flag of Sweden 🇸🇪 but the horizontal line was thicker than the vertical one. Underneath it was the date “7th December”. A teacher saw this and thought there would be a shooting on that date. In reality, the kid was excited about Super Smash Bros Ultimate coming out and 7th December was the day the game came out. TL;DR: Kid crapped his pants over Smash Ultimate, causing the rest of his school to do so in a completely different way.

Middle school: was famous for how prison like it was, construction and how students were treated. Was also known for fighting (part of the reason the school became so prison like). We had a lockdown because a kid bought weed to school. There was a small fire in the cafeteria. One kid in particular constantly got out of school suspension for fighting. Same kid also almost sent one of my friends to the hospital because they held them against a wall by the throat. Kid only got a 2 week suspension, my friend didn’t come to school for almost a month due to ptsd from the event. High school: also famous for fighting. the year before I went a kid had his head cracked open from being picked up and slammed onto a desk. During my 4 years we had a fight so bad that caused a lock down because a group of friends decided to gang up on two other people, had a small riot that caused the school to have 3 permanent cops in the school, the 7-11 on the corner banned students because how many were stealing, had multiple lock downs for drugs and constantly had drug k9’s in school and ambulances, a kid got stabbed, a kid almost died during a class from an od (luckily the teacher noticed they were acting weird and on the verge of collapsing and called 911, turned out they’d taken a lethal dose of drugs before going to school and no one noticed or cared until they had that class), had a bomb threat, bathrooms were locked for most of the day and you could only use them in between classes, a kid got banned from participating in dissections after he decided to eat a piece of a pigs heart, our French teacher died not even a month before the school year started, and during my last week of school a student died (collapsed during training and rushed to hospital, school decided to announce the death over the speakers. Was a very bad way to find out your friend and/team mate died.)

Not a high school, but Gymnasium (same age range here in Germany though). There were two incidents that come to mind. First: The incident was that someone found it a good idea to paint the boy's bathroom brown - with his own excrement. Nobody knew who was it, it happened during class, nobody was close. There is the theory that it might have been a kid from the school next door our school wasn't friendly with- Doubt it was someone from our school though, as teachers would have known who left the class during the lessons for long enough to paint the "artwork". Bathroom had to be closed for renovation, and we had to use only the small and regularly rather smelly bathroom next to the gym ... (on contrast to the large and much more pleasent bathroom that was now under renovation) Second: This story happened in late 2001, early 2002. The news out of the US with terror attacks were still rather fresh, and the school also knew that we were quite the target as we had the children of our at the time president among the students. Because of that, the school might have overreacted when some kids reported to teachers that they have seen a suspicious (very Muslim) looking man enter the school with a bag and leaving without it. The days after, it was discovered that it was just a parent bringing their kid their sport-bag, but at the time, it was reason enough for a full on evacuation.

This was actually before I was in high school but I’d say it was bigger than any of the incidents that happened while I was there. It was a senior prank and they decided to use crickets and stink bombs. Somehow that escalated into an all out brawl in front of the school and even in the parking lot of the stores nearby. As for while I was there: in freshman year a girl decided to smoke weed in the bathroom which set off the fire alarm forcing everyone to go outside in the freezing snow while the fire department came to check what happened. Also someone lit a stink bomb in one of the areas of the building and everyone who had class that period (including me) had to sit in the gym for the whole period. It was actually pretty cool we got to just chill out the whole period. If you’re wondering what it smelled like it smelled like poop at first but then it’s like it went from 0-100 in 2 seconds

So the incident happened in Middle School, at the time I was considering Home school already, then *it* happened. I just so happened to be in the bathroom of the Nurses Office, then a lock down started. It wasn't a drill, it was a shooting. So I was in the bathroom for quite a bit, a little panicked because *YEP*, at some point I could leave the bathroom, staff there checked up on me, I got a Pineapple squishy that was in the Nurses Office. Then when someone came to pick me up, they noticed the Pineapple squishy and asked me about it. A bit before that person came to pick me up, I found out it was *not* an actual shooting, but a *fake out*. a lot of these aren’t high school, this is just stuff that happened at my school district in general: -in 5th grade a staff member accidentally set off the school shooter alarm -in middle school there were several (fake) bomb threats -also in middle school, someone stink bombed a toilet and the school smelled so bad that the staff called pest control because they thought a skunk got in the school -in elementary school there was a huge hail storm so no one could drive on the road to pick us up or take us home, so we had to stay the night at school. we all slept together in the cafeteria, and the teachers brought out sleeping bags for us to sleep in. it was actually kind of fun. -in 5th grade a bunch of boys got in trouble for flushing random items down the urinal. -also in 5th grade, a bunch of *girls* got in trouble for flushing pads and tampons down the toilet. -in 7th grade, none of us could go to school for a week because there was a gas leak. -in 6th grade there was a power outage for a good few hours. -in 10th grade, some kid thought it would be a good idea to climb up the missing tile on the ceiling that they forgot to patch up, and the school had to call the fire department to get him out.

Back when I went to school my brother was victim of a bully for years who was in his class. Teachers and principal didn't do shit to stop it and over the years my brother got broken arm, blackeye and more. I transferred to that school and got known pretty much as a fighter and someone that wouldn't back down and gave zero fks when it came to who I stepped up against (first day I dropped biggest bullies in school). One day I came to lunch room seeing the bully threaten my brother and said "after lunch you'll get beaten again" this made me flip out and ended up with that bully and his friends spending 2 months in hospital, 3 teachers that tried to step in got floored and was an all out brawl between me and them. After that nobody touched my brother.

My school had pep rallies every home football game (America), and it always started off with the national anthem. As you can imagine, it was never silent, and you could always hear conversations going on throughout the entire arena (basketball court) during the anthem. One time, during the anthem, I saw a kid on the other side of the arena roll over a few rows of seats, followed by our school police officer and a few APs rushing over there. I later talked to the girl who technically instigated the whole scuffle (she did not get physical), and she told me how it went down. Some kids were talking (I assume extremely loudly) and she told them to “shut the fuck up.” One of the kids did not take kindly to this, and started to threaten her and junk, when her boyfriend stepped in between them. He (the kid talking) then either punched or shoved her boyfriend before getting pushed and rolling over a few rows of seats. They all got ISS (the ones in the fight) and I think got suspended for about a week. Even though the guys that were talking technically threw the first punch, they weren’t punished more because of it because they were black, and the school didn’t want people to think they were racist. TL;DR: a scuffle went down during the national anthem at a school pep rally.

A website full of deregatory memes and posts pointed towards our catholic school and catholic church itself, allegedly run by some students from first and second grade (13-14 y.o.). AFAIK it had a lot of traffic, not only from students. Some culprits were found, reprimanded and severly punished with ban from certain events and lowest possible grade for behaviour and additional achievements (which was harsh for A-grade students who represented our school in various local sport competitions). From what I've learned recently, it had to be snuffed out before people from outside would notice who ran this website.

I’ve got a few. My first school district there was a bomb threat and every single school was evacuated. We had to hang out in the football field for roughly half of the day before we were allowed to go back inside. I didn’t find out what exactly happened until the next year when I was a freshman but I met the guy who made the threat, apparently he wanted to go see a movie and hand wrote the threat and left it in either the locker room or a hallway. I’ll be honest the kid didn’t look like he was working with a full deck. My second high school just had a bunch of fights, mostly between girl’s surprisingly but best one happened between a bully from my previous school and my buddy’s little brother who was some kind of mutant as a freshman. The bully ended up in the same homeschool program I was in and started dating a freshman at my new school while he was 18. Anyway he was talking crap about something when said girlfriend said something that peeved him off and he hit her hard enough to make her fall to the ground. Buddy’s Brother just happened to be around the corner and called him out on his BS and they both decided to fight at the local pond after school. The Buddy’s Brother cut out early and was already at the pond when people started arriving. Not long after the Bully showed up in his car and had some of his “minions” with him, as he got out of his car he kept his left hand in his pocket and reached out to shake Buddy’s Brother’s hand and ended up getting sucker punched hard enough to hit the ground. As he hit the ground his left hand came out of his pocket and a thing of pepper spray came out with it. Before he could do anything Buddy’s Brother jumped on top of his and began delivering a glorious ground and pound before literally picking him up and tossed him into one of the rear passenger doors of his car and shattered the window. He then shoved the bully through the window and screamed at the minions to get the hell out of his town. Not long after Buddy’s Brother was arrested for the fight and the Bully pressed charges. Nothing came of it though as My Buddy, an even bigger mutant, ended up getting rear ended by the bully and tried to get out of paying for the damages by making threats until Buddy said he was gonna beat him down even harder than his brother did. After that no one really knew what happened to the bully until a few years ago when he popped up on Facebook living in Texarkana, far far away from our small town in Washington!

Not a high school but middle school. I was just sitting in my classroom and then my teacher all the sudden tried to barricade the door with her body but then a random woman forced the door open and just started swearing and screaming at this girl next to me saying how she had to come with her. I thought it was her mom or maybe another students because kids would do stuff like that and we had giant students. Then the SRO took away and I still do not know what happened to her. Oh and if you were wondering why she was screaming at the student it was because she threw an orange at her kid. And just for clarification, no she had no idea who she was. Edit: My parents were actually quite angry about this because the school was keeping quiet about this and the school didn’t send an email or anything. We also had a kid that just pooped on the floor in almost every bathroom in the school. All the bathrooms were closed and to this day no one bows who it was.

I am obsessed with listening to these and I can't get over the facts of how many incidents that happened all over the world. It's insane. Well, here's mine. This is a sad one. One night I believe sunday there were 7 students from different grades that were in the same car driving at a park in my city and they crashed because the vehicle lost control. The next morning, they announced the accident. 2 didn't have their seatbelts on. Some were in critical condition and some were stable. I know this one girl who is tall and had long blonde hair, and when she came out of the hospital and back tk school, he had a pixie cut and was in a wheelchair. I never knew about the others but I believe they never came back to school that semester, I may be wrong. BUT, One morning while my aunt and cousin were talking and having breakfast and we were a few hours late but we were going anyways, I overheard them talking about a guy named (let's call him T) died from head injuries, and I believe they were talking about one of the guys from the accident, that's how I found out one of them died. He was one of the 2 people that didn't have his seatbelt. There was these stickers people stick in the back windowshield of their car and it said "#Carsonstrong" for the people in the accident to all come back healthy and I still see people have that sticker in the back of their care. R.I.P T🙏

And my current high school? Kid gets expelled for bringing a knife to school, year 11 boy SHOPLIFTS a bunch of red bull from the corner shop by the school, drinks it all in like 4 hours, has a heart attack, dies, and the school tried to make it like it wasn't his fault, before I was born a year 10 got crushed by a train and died, my drama teacher got caught touching a girl's boob, and my physics teacher and form tutor got the sack for confessing his love to a 17 year old (He was like 60 at the time) Through an email. My middle school actually had 2 incidents not that big but yeah. First: the AC worked really bad so the second day of the school year (my first year in 7th grade) so it caught on fire and we were evacuated. The whole school smelt really bad after so it was early dismissal, thank God no one was hurt. Later that year, the AC caught on fire a second time but this time black smoke came out of where the air comes out, we weren’t evacuated that time tho. Now, the second incident: That same year, there was a gun threat (which was really weird cause in my country citizens cant legally own guns), I didnt go that day but my bff told me what happened. It was a 9th grader who was joking with a friend via messages but that kid had mental issues and had threatened a girl with a knife to the neck some months ago but couldnt expel him cause they didnt have enough evidence. They used that window to do that and he was expelled. I changed schools this year and tbh I miss the thrill lol.

Here’s one I thoroughly remember from my high school: I went to a Christian high school as an atheist for context My bus was an absolute war zone every day (we had a lot of little kids) and the bus driver refused to put her foot down on their behavior. So one day the kids were insulting each other as per usual when one of them called another kid gay as an insult. I chimed in and told them that that word shouldn’t be used to insult someone as it’s ok to like whoever you want. Fast forward 1 week later and I get called to the principals office. The vice principal (who was a total asshole btw) chewed me out for spreading, and I quote “anti-Christian propaganda” to the young children. I tried explaining what had happened but she wasn’t having it. I hen she called my mom who laughed at her when she was told the situation and told her to go F off. Graduated 2 weeks later and never looked back.

Whenever he was out for Chemo, she would be very VERY close to other boys. One day I see her crying, worried I ask if she's okay and immediately she yells at me "STAY AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND AND HIS PROBLEMS YOU HOMEWRECKER" I knew this boy since we were in elementary school, she moved to the district in middle school so I was pretty pissed off that she told me to stay away from my friend. Being immature I go to the bathroom and write on the stall in sharpie how she was a cheating slut (not proud of my actions, do not copy me) fast forward a few months to graduation and they have broken up. Why? Because she had made out with about a third of the boys in our grade from those days he was gone for chemo. The topic came up about the bathroom stall incident and said that the vandilizer was a hero. Again do not do what I did, I was young and stupid, just because I wasn't caught doesn't mean I'm not ashamed of my actions

@@agentnorthnature123 So let me explain this better, for starters, this is a small school on the western edge of Kansas, the schools student body took up a good chunk of the countys overall population, so its a small tight knit place. None of the deaths where school related nor happened in the school, just students and teachers from the school that died. The part that sticks out is just how rapid it happened, it lays out like this: 1: A student the year below me died after being crushed by an ATV while tending to his cows. 2: The next death during my time was not a student but a graduate, two years after graduating she ran under a semi while texting and driving. 3: The next death was that of one of the coaches, either volleyball or basketball. He died of complications from cancer. 4: The economics teacher, also my teacher for yearbook, died of liver failure just before the end of the year. 5: After graduation, a former student from my class died at a party from a gunshot to the chest. (rumors was drug deal gone wrong) 6: A person from the year above me died when she and her boyfriend rolled their car. This was so common for us, that when a student from the town of us died from weird circumstances during a football game, we had an assembly and the counsiler literally said how we were no stranger to death. Which is true, this small school has seen weird crap, as all other schools but this is the darkest things to occour. This all happened withing short succession of each other. Prior stuff to this includs rumors of students commiting suicide on school grounds, but the validity is questionable. The last young death in our town to date, isnt while he was in school or shortly after graduating, but is mentionable as its been the same as all of them, sudden, and tragic. He hung him self after his fiance left him with his kids, he was drunk at the time and was a friend of mine from year above me.
