Seriously not sure if we can do it on wind and sun alone, but we'll find out! May have to add a wind turbine for extra generation.

Oh, man. For some reason, I've been missing your videos, even though I'm subscribed with notifications. Need to catch up now, but firstly I hope the best for your wife, you and family! You've been such a great advocate and importantly a realist about electric motorcycles. I'm sticking with you and looking forward to your marine adventures, even though I'm a lousy swimmer and anything deeper than a sink terrifies me! All the best!

I didn't see that coming! I had a TIA in 2022. No hole in my heart, but still scary. After 3 years of only owning Teslas, we bought a 2 door jeep wrangler for the convertible experience. Having fun with it, but wish it was an EV. God bless you and your family in 2024.

Glad the missus is ok, and try not to electrocute the dam ( it make sure u video it if u do). I sailed across the Pacific on an electric multi hull...find that sweetspot of cruising speed & regen with the pods spinning & love that life!

So, the ocean/coastal cruising parts will be the easy hundreds of miles. The dismal swamp, everglades, and sailing through Florida will be the difficult parts. If there's trees creating wind shadows, we'll only make 10-20 miles slowly, from solar, per day. Assuming great sun. Maybe a bit more if we can time the currents shifting for a little boost.

Can't wait for hop yacht Review. I wouldn't order one without first meeting with the team that assembles it.

I actually bought after the interview video I did with Paul. He’s so passionate, I had to give him all of my money. Hah Explored the boat in Miami (HY 003, I’m 004) and Paul let me record a guided tour with him. Won’t be long now before I’m sailing it up the coast - FL to DC!

225K, plus shipping, which I'm waiting for the cheapest window possible to open up. Hopefully around 3k? Assembly included, in Miami. For 2024, the price went up to 299K, including shipping and assembly.

I did, and I actually toured one in Miami at the boat show. Reason I went with HopYacht initially - the beam. Smart cat is small, but still wouldn't fit in the monohull slips near me that are dirt cheap. When I toured it, I was really glad I didn't get one. Steep steps, tiny passageways, hulls are small and claustrophobic also. Upstairs wasn't much better, the use of space just didn't feel good, it also didn't feel very high quality. More like a cheap charter boat - which is actually exactly what that one was on its way to becoming the next week. If you want to squeeze 6 people into a boat for a weekend, SmartCat is the way to go. If you want a couple or small family to have a comfortable time, HopYacht.
