I use Nano Shock alot. Decent wear time and fairly easy to remove. Just started trying the Mequiars hybrid ceramic wax. Its really easy to remove and seems to have decent hydrophobic properties.

Gyeon Mohs is super easy to apply and a great combo to use in conjunction with gyeon can coat as a topper coat. Gyeon cure can be used as a maintenance product after washes.

Finally someone does a real world test of these products, well organized and covering brands from well trusted brands like Ammo to the not so tested TV products like F11. Chicago Auto Pros is a truly unappreciated channel and deserves millions more subscribers than what they have, keep it up guys, the hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

I have a bottle of Reflex Pro ready to go on my personal vehicle soon. Can't wait to see how it turns out! I love the rest of the AMMO products, so my expectations are somewhat high.

My favorite is turtle wax seal and shine, it is very hydrophobic and easy to apply every few months! I really love your videos by the way, I appreciate the attention to detail and you have inspired me to start paint correcting.

@@divinechoosenone yeah I think so, my truck is relatively new but it doesn't appear to gave any fade. Any protective layer on the paint is a good thing to have in preventing fade and damage to the clear coat

The first time I ever machine polished my car was at my best friends house back in 1996. It was with his Dad's Craftsman 10" orbital, and NuFinish! 😂 My friend gave me that polisher a few years ago, after his dad passed away. We quickly moved on the the Meguiar's Deep Crystal system. He quit detailing his cars, but I went on to make money with it.. I still detail cars in that yard from time to time for him, his mom, and her friends when they have their summer time Monday night card parties.

This is so good! Can't wait to see how these products compare short and long term

Surprised you didn't use turtle wax Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray coating. Project farm tested similar products and found it to be the best, I personally use it and it works very well.

I have been waiting for a video like this for years. Thank you for recognizing the need ahead of everyone else this is what Brian at Apex is great at also. A simple straightforward approach; the best way to show reality. I was really glad to see AMMO, a line that I have really gotten into; although I was disappointed that Turtle Wax Solutions' ceramic spray coat, Seal n Shine, and TL2 weren't in the mix. Thank you.

I purchased the TEC582 from you guys. Love it! I applied it in March and it was still holding up really well. Last weekend I used a clay bar again and nothing came off the paint. I re-applied again for the Winter. It also is awesome on the windshield. You can drive through rain w/o using the windshield wipers. Awesome product!!

This was AWESOME Jason. One of the best vid about detailing that I’ve ever seen. And I’ve watched thousands by now. It’s a shamed forgot Seal&Shine. It’s one of the best and cheapest. And the other thing is I’d have like to see which one shine the most in the shinemeter. Maybe u can still do it. Such kool series.

Sonax brilliant shine detailer. I love the effect it gives from the shine and gloss to the fantastic water repellant nature. I cant wait to see the follow up videos to this project. Thank you!

Thanks for the time and effort you've put into this, I'm really looking forward to this test. I'm after something with no or short cure time as I don't have a garage to store my car. Durability isn't my number 1 goal as I don't mind applying coatings on a regular basis. I'm mainly after gloss.

Love what you are doing! This is really good stuff here. I'm rooting for the lesser expensive and not way over hyped and heavy marketed products. Proof is always in the pudding, not your marketing team which drives the cost up. I cant wait to see how everyone holds up.

Cool idea. Can't wait to see how it shakes out. My dad loves that NuFinish stuff. It just feels so dated now, but hey, we'll see how it works over the next few months.

My grandpa used to use the stuff every year and lasted the whole year he didn’t drive that much but the stuff was good. He was the kinda of person who would by a couple waxes of after researching them a lot.

All I can picture are all of the tape lines where there is no protection!! Excellent video Jason and am excited to see the videos that follow. I personally have used many of these products and there are some I've never even heard of.

Thank you for your time, effort and costs for this type of testing on so many products across a large spectrum of applications. Also highlighting the products for this test that you use in your shop. As you mentioned that Nu Finish has been around for so long, with I think Armor All being around the longest with the nano type technology. Being in my late 60's, I can remember putting Armor All on the dash for protection from the heat and UV rays, the only problem being it was so slick, nothing would stay on the dash and it became a safety hazard. Look forward to the progressive reports during your winter, where it will be my summer Down Under. Ozz

Wow! I can't wait for the update videos. I just did something similar with Meguair's Hybrid Ceramic Spray, Mothers CMX, Turtle SNS 2.0, and Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray. All applied onto a daily driver to test long term durability.

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! THIS real world test in real winter weather is so needed. Every one of those products was a perfect choice. I am just a home DIY'er that drives all the neighbors crazy with how much time I spend Bi weekly washing and maintaining my truck. I have Gtechniq Serum Ultra installed by Chris Marlin on mine and am really interested to see how the Serum Light turns out. It was easy to see how much time and preparation went into this video, finding the right black car, even the hand drawn diagram to get it all right etc etc. Looking forward to the next 12 wash's!!!!

Love this idea bro! Great content! Looking forward to update videos but I'd like to see you do weeklies instead of every two weeks. Even if you just do a quick update every other than do a good update every other.

Really appreciate you guys testing all those products for us folks out there looking trying to find the right product that works. For my 2016 E400 Obsidian Metallic Black Mercedes, can't be any happier with Torque Mirror Shine super gloss. It's truly amazing and so easy to use leaving a super gloss and slick feel on the paint. Beats the water incredible well and lasts a good while. Since I started applying Torque Mirror Shine on my E400 haven't used anything else. Now if only I can find a real good product for the glass that would complete my search. There are some good products out there but when the sun hits the glass especially windshield you can see slight streaks on the glass and that's a bit frustrating.

Thanks for testing a lot of these products. I appreciate it as a driveway detailer. Please do make a follow up vid on these products. :)

This is an awesome test! I really appreciate you not only putting the time, money and effort into this test but also sharing it with us! Did a similar test, much smaller scale 😂, with a few of the spray ceramic waxes and I really like the results from turtle wax ceramic spray coating

I love thinking about people's confusion when they see this car in a rainstom since it'll have all these beautifully beading squares divided by solid lines of sheeting water.

Jason you really added a lot of diversity of products! Loving that! Looking forward to see the results! I’m currently a CarPro 3.0 user mostly; have you considered measuring the added thickness to see how do they degrade with the pass of weeks?

The thickness is likely so slight, and deviations in the paint from panel to panel would make results unreliable. You’d have to measure each spot before/after, and even so, you probably aren’t adding anything significantly measurable without very expensive tooling, install PPF for thickness.

Man I thought the last coat 2 would be on here as well. Excited to see the results!!

Thanks for all your work on this test. I am concerned that it won’t be an apples to apples comparison though because the top of the car won’t get spray off the road like the doors will. I have Ceramic Pro on my Focus and it’s gotten weak on the doors but the hood and roof are fine.

nice work Jason, going to be cool to see what lasts with a Chicago winter (patchwork quilt comes to mind). AM Details has a new hybrid sealant and detailer coming out soon, just tested the detailer on my Outback last Sunday. Thought TW S&S might have made the demo cut too. Uno & Beadmaker is a popular combo with the RC guys. 303 Graphene should be good, i just got the new *Infinity Wax QDX Graphene* to try.

Can't wait for the video updates!

A note on Collinite: you need to put it into a hot water bath to warm it up a bit, then shake up. It will be watery when ready.

Here in south TX, I leave it in the garage and it is hot here all the time. In fact the solution tends to visibly separate and then you shake it up well. One of my favorites as well as Power Lock

I just place the bottle outside in the sun for 20-30 minutes, then shake.

👍 Opti-coat hyper-seal would be an interesting addition to compare to the other coating maintenance toppers. I've been using it about a year now. Initially as a sealant, then as a topper over optimum gloss coat.

Awesomee! Super cool video. Really enjoyed it. I really want to see how armor shield 9 compares to Crystal Serum light and BC08. Sucks that it wasn't on here :( but I cant wait to see the final results of this
