What's so great about Porter?

Why do I always fly Porter when I visit Toronto? Take a look at this video to find out. Agreed. Porter was a blessing to the region and as a result, Timmins had to double its parking lot size (while it still seems like more is needed). At the same time, my experience with Porter lately has been very disappointing. Where they were once reliable and service orientated, they now seem to be anything but. In fact passengers routinely say they remind me now of Air Canada... I can say with confidence, even though its anecdotal) that 75% of my flights are delayed now or cancelled. It has put me in several bad situations. While the excuse I get is weather, the weather channel (gotta love the internet) says anything but. My last experience I was stranded in Toronto at 10 pm and a room cost me $600 because they knew they had me. Porter took no responsibility for that and this really is disappointing. Perspective. Over the course of those two days of travel, every single flight was either cancelled or delayed - yet I was able to immediately book air Canada to replace the cancelled flights ??? Hopefully this is temporary and Porter gets it back together. They are too important to our region not too. Mr. Delouce should feel free to reach out to me (or the Town of Cochrane) anytime...
