This was an incredible window into how our majestic primate relatives are fed while in captivity. They receive more food and supplements than I thought.❤

This was such an interesting video, I wanted to see more, especially you giving each gorilla his/her breakfast. Thank you for showing me much more behind the scenes that I never knew took place. I never knew they had this chow, or that older gorillas get some steamed vegetables; very thoughtful, I can appreciate that older teeth don’t always cut through carrots, for example so readily. ❤😊

Are any of these magnificent primates rescues? Perhaps born in captivity? It would be great to have a short video that presents these gorillas in their outdoor habitat at the zoo. Thank you for your compassion and shared insights.

Those videos should be longer and regular. You would get millions of views. Some institutions simple dont understand how to make money in the interet to fund their operations.

most apes and monkies as they get older in the wild have a lot of health problems with their teeth and body we dont see them often because they die quickly and are scavenged by other animals. living in the wild at old age is a brutal task for most animals.

Obviously, you just watched how well they are looked after in regards to nutrition, what foods they get, and the amount, and medications. So it's quite clear they would have excess to water if they are getting all that done. Abit silly 🤔

they have water troughs and containers in the zoo but gorillas do not like drinking plain water very much. in the wild they drink little water and get their hydration from constantly eating plants.
