I think the Magic Kingdom Space Mountain is going to get a track refresh (and hopefully some other updates) sooner than later. Now that Tron is up and running, it’ll absorb some of the SM crowds while they refurb it.

I know nobody loves cloned rides, but I wish they’d wait until they can clone whatever they are building in Tokyo Disneyland and give us that or at least something shiny and new.

Hopefully, half of the “thrill” of SM is wondering if you’re gonna make it off the ride. I swear, a couple of years ago I was riding in the front seat of the front car and felt it jump off of the track for a second. Still my favorite ride tho 😂

If so, I hope they don't change the layout. I kind of like the old Arrow jank of it, though it could be a little smoother I guess. If they could find a way to give it onboard audio, that would be pretty cool.

As a former Anaheim resident, I still get emails about Disneyland Forward. They sent a Happy New Year email this week that was heavily branded with Disneyland Forward info. While there was nothing new announced in the email, I found it promising that they would send out something to put it at the top of our minds again. Maybe 2024 will bring more fleshed out concepts for DF!

I would rather pre plan at 60 days then walk around all day looking at the phone. People that haven’t gone before and dealt with Genie+ have even worse experiences.

At least genie+ currently resets everyday so people who couldnt get it on day 1 can get it on day 2 to go on the ride they wanted. If it is 60 days before someone who doesnt know the system will come there and cant buy into the system anymore in any of their days

​@@jackylsmith8138If you are on your phone all day with genie+, you are doing it wrong. Also, if staying offsite, you had to wait until 30 days to book and by then all the major rides fastpasses were gone by the guests at the resorts.

4:20 The sad thing about Space Mountain in DL is that it's been like that since I started to go to Disneyland , so I always thought that was just the effect. I never knew that it was supposed to light up similarly to WDWs Space Mountain. Now i really want to see Disneylands Space Mountain in all its glory!

I just noticed that the hyperspace tunnel in DL stopped working towards the end of the year. Earlier when I went during spring and summer it was working just fine.

I really hope the imganieering team does a justice with Tiana’s bayou adventure and I believe that they can but I’m still worried for it

There will be no Tiana's Bayou Adventure. And the "imagineers" behind it are going to be be ratted out before a reborn HUAC and blacklisted from Hollywood as the Reds they are. When I take over Disney and usher in the Make Disney Great Again era, I will erase all traces of Tiana.

@@sunkiiko That's right. Disney under my rule will also go back to doing things by asking "What would Walt do?" again like it did after his death, even if that means being stuck in the 1960s. I will also be shutting down Disney+ and releasing Song of the South to Blu Ray if it hasn't already been done.

IMO the American parks need to focus on being more like Tokyo Disney. I can't speak from personal experience but just watching other KZreadr videos (ordinary adventures), it seems that's where the magic is hiding. Employees are nice, fun, and all too willing to create unique and fun experiences for their guests. The rides all work, and are clean. The snacks are unique and are good value. American parks have lost their way, in a big way.

i think Bob knows this year he has to bring it at D23. I expect big news at D23. If Josh D'Amaro comes out and only has some blue sky ideas he has to know the fans will lose faith and this proxy war with the shareholders will look grim. They have Desantis and Universals Epic Universe breathing down there necks in FL.

Went on the people mover in WDW and had a lot of fun. Bring it back along with carousel of progress! Just give us WDW tomorrow land I loved it and had fun in tomorrow land!!

I think Magic Kingdom will be getting Disney Character additions to “it’s a Small World” announced at the D23 expo, if not before

Actually a really good prediction!

It is never worth being charged $20-30 to stand in a line. Especially when they used to offer that for free. I will never spend a penny on genie just because it’s a ludicrous concept.

I think that after April there will be some sort of announcement for what the plan for the Galactic Starcruiser Building experience will become.

I think universal uk’s announcement & all the new smaller ride additions at all the universal parks is gonna push disney to make more announcements (wether it’s ready or not)

Nah, they aren’t going to respond properly. Oh, they might announce they are going to do something but will either never get around to it or eventually have a mediocre addition in 5+ years. Such is the way of current day Disney.

I honestly don't want the Villians' land built behind Big Thunder. It doesn't thematically transition well from the desert. I think they should retheme everywhere from Splash Mountain to Pirates of the Caribbean to New Orleans, then build a new Fronteirland behind Big Thunder with Western River Expedition and Geyser Mountain.

I hope you’re right about the Bayou adventure and it ends up being more of a tower of terror to Mission Breakout situation rather than a Great Movie Ride to runaway railway. Skepticism of the retheme at first but once people see the quality of the new attraction they’re cool with it.

13:17 2024 is a leap year so it will be rotting for 366 days. the suffering will last even longer

It is because of Leap Day 2024, that schedule take place between February 28th, and March 1st!!! So, Leap Day 2024 IS February 29th, 2024!! Right?

I've read one of the reasons for the haunted mansion in Disneyland closing for renovations is yes the queue line but the the other reason is that the stretching room is getting a third elevator for the handicap so the don't have to wait and the very end to get in line

With what I’m seeing happening to Disneyland in January, I think they will continue to shut down and enhance already existing rides or try new things with existing rides (adding to genie+, etc.), before making any plans to replace or build anything new.

I feel like with the way epic universe is developing bob iger knows he HAS to do something big for WDW to draw in those crowds the same way epic universe will. I’m looking forward to D23 this year to see what’s in store

All I want for 2024 is for them to announce a brand new journey into imagination. Preferably getting the original attraction back. One can hope.

I too, wish the DL Peoplemover would return. Sadly, between the condition of the track and the fact it doesn’t meet ADA requirements in the current configuration, there will be no return without a complete demo of the tracks and rebuild the entire track system. Perhaps if we ever get an entire remodel of Tomorrowland, it could return.

Yes Dr. Faciilier Really needs to be roaming NOS again. But They have said that TBA occurs after the movie, so Dr. F is lost in space, so to speak, and can no appear in the ride... hopefully the powers that be can give us some form of Dr. F. He was one of the best meet and greets in the park.

"The PeopleMover will be closed for another 365 days." But it's a Leap Year. So there's a chance!

D23 definitely will have for DLR, Avengers E ticket, Pandora attraction and a Forward project announcement. As a maybe, a major Tomorrowland announcement 🙏🏼

I didn't even know they were updating County Bear Jamboree. When I visited there were people behind me singing along to all the songs by heart so it definitely has fans of it's current state.

I feel so lucky that the first time i went to disney since i was a kid was this past summer so i got to see all the new stuff like TRON etc

My hot take: I like the idea of the park reservations. Keeps crowds down. I am not an annual passholder so I dont really have an opinion there but the "good to go" dates seem like great solution

Hopefully? Reno and updates to some of the rides that need it. Hopefully Animal Kingdom updates, especially.dino country and the dinosaur.ride. Realistically? One big ride announcement or the announcement of a new land or some such. But i would love, LOVE new figment anything. Dude is cool and deserves more

Come back here and call me a prophet should this happen: They announce Zootopia Land as one of the lands in the beyond Frontierland expansion at Magic Kingdom. I know how much the Imagineers want Zootopia at WDW and I have this feeling they’ll end up putting it there.

As far as predictions all the small additions that Disneyland got for I think the 65th that MK didn't get I think will come out here. Big thunder finale, Small world, peter pan, just got hatbox ghost.

I will miss splash mountain forever.

Splash Mountain isn't closed. It will be there for WDW's 75th in 2046 and Tiana won't. Neither will Star Wars, Marvel, or anyone who worked for Disney under Iger.

I feel like this “preplanning” of genie plus coming to WDW some point this year will be FastPass+, but a bit different. I think the ideal solution would be a hybrid free/paid solution. Have free FastPass for all current Genie+ rides, and continue to charge per ride for the ILL selections. This way, we get some free rides, but the waits at the most popular attractions remain lower than pre-pandemic.

I keep hearing rumors that the DL Peoplemover Station is going to become a premium lounge.

next year we need more videos about the Peoplemover and Jean Laffite.

There will be no major announcements. Anything Disney says will essentially be a lie and an act of perjury.

Maybe Tron will be announced for Disneyland as part of the redevelopment of Tomorrowland, if it ever happens. You never know.

With Disney Forward, it would be a great time to build a device, to move people, from the parking lot to the park. Some sort of vehicle to move the people from one space to another and not have those slow loading trams. A people mover perhaps? But no, modern Disney would never come up with such a novel concept and instead let guests wait in long lines or trek a mile each way.

I’m disappointed that nothing went forward with Spaceship Earth getting an update. During my DCP in late 2019, I worked that attraction as part of what we believed to be the “final crew” pre-updates… we had so many theories as to what would be changed- primarily the cue and loading system (which was honestly what we were most hoping for as cast members) Hopefully with a little more time a refurb/update will be back on the table. SE is a great ride it deserves some love!

No they won't. Disney is going to be broken up under antitrust and that means no more Marvel or Star Wars in the parks.

I hope that the beyond Big Thunder Mountain blue sky plans become an actual thing. A villains land would be amazing. I just hope one day there can be a permanent Nightmare Before Christmas attraction somewhere. I think it could fit in a spooky villains land. 🤞🏻

The reservation system is not that hard. I understand the frustration of not being able to just drop in but there is such little effort in making a reservation that it is honestly weird how much people complain about it. Just plan ahead, you can do it.

I live by Disneyland I’m a magic key holder and I hate the reservation system because people feel like they HAVE to go the day they reserve, some people walk in and then walk out just so they don’t get dinged. 🙄 I agree though, Genie+ is probably here to stay, we were super against it; but we have a toddler who can only wait 30 minutes max without burning out - soooo we FIRST purchased IT FOR HER. Now we get it for us to ride swap and do whatever we want in our short time there. We don’t do it every time, but it’s worth it. 🙈

The reservation system helps so you don’t have max capacity days that no one has fun in. I have been to the park before the reservation and it sucked. Also after you are “dinged” so many times you just can’t use your key and then have to pay like the rest of us.
