You don't shake it because the product will trap bubbles in the can that will not pop on their own. I made that mistake once!

By the way, if you put your moss in the freezer for a bit, you'll kill off any creepy crawlies hiding in there.

Great minds think alike!!
Shaking causes tiny air bubbles to become entrained in the PU and will leave the finish with a milky looking finish. It is best to stir it with a paint stirrer for best results. Your lamps came out great. Your little knee looks like a little bunny rabbit.🙂

Now about that truck....with winter coming on, you can make that truck one of those chilly, wet winter projects that get done in the barn over time. So, I figure in just 142 winters, that truck should be just about perfect. Thanks for another great show with zero "kneed" for revision.

My brother and I would buy 2 or 3 wrecks and end up with some nice rides. I am a shade tree mechanic, and he was a body man, plenty of tools and good times. He is gone now but I still have some pleasant memories and a 1998 Doge 2500 diesel that just keeps going strong.

Friday nights were friends over many times with wife's or girlfriends, lots of BS , some wrench turning, and a bit of adult beverage. Those were the days.
There's nothing wrong with the propane tank conversion. The tank is thicker and stronger than air tanks that size. You'll probably put 120 PSI in it, but it would probably hold 500 PSI. Remember all you safety rangers out there, if everything is perfectly safe, nothing gets done. If it's 99% safe, you get half of everything done. If it's 97.5% safe, you get everything done!

You can put your propane tank in a milk crate. They slide right into them and keep them from rolling around. Joe

Tip for your Husband. If you put the propane bottle in a milk crate, it won't roll around in the bed of the truck or side by side. the 2 big monkey wrenches that the older bottles need for connecting and disconnecting will also fit in the milk crate with the propane bottle ;)

I'm excited for you, Jim! I looked for a specific truck for years and when I finally found it, I bought it the next day! Unfortunately, I'm in NY (vehicles don't last long here at all) so my baby has been laid to rest (in our own personal junk yard lol). She's a red, '95, single cab, Z71, stepside with a 5.7L. I loved her soooo much! 💔😭
Don’t shake because it causes air pockets or bubbles in your finish….. the biscuits you cut off can be used as drink coasters….
I think a Brand new 90's hootis vehicle is a perfect idea. I hope the inspector feels the same Thanks for sharing
Hi Lydia and Jim. Loved this vid!! I knew it was going to be good when Ladly appeared in the opening scenes. What a sweetie that little cutie pie is. It was nice seeing her so much in this one. Lydia you may have revealed a new opportunity for yourself, very impressive as you were crusing the runway with your Enernova over the shoulder. 😉 I loved you all gather the moss, especially Ladly's reaction when placed on her head. I laughed out loud seeing Jim with his new under the cap style. River Bottom Outdoor Furniture....Y'all are a real hoot. Do not shake to minimize the chance of bubbles in the solution. I love the trucks - my son and I are car guys and we've totally rebuilt and restored 3 now that were in far worse shape than the truck. Parts you can't source locally from wrecking yards LMC Truck Parts will have. You can build and entire truck right out of their catalogue. That project will be a lot of fun for you guys and I wouldn't mind at all seeing occasiounal updates on the progress. Y'all have a great week ahead. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.

Stir the finish I’m a wood worker/furniture builder and use it a lot, if you use it on a table surface avoid water for a good time for curing, water spots will be a problem but in the lamps you will have no problem, you guys are doing such a great job on your place, your Alaskan friend
