it is a diesel engine... has enough torque to make it go, horsepower isn't everything, really its just a product of torque, like a lot of diesel engines they dont have a whole lot of horsepower but have the torque to move the weight, also the torque numbers in this video is wrong, it has 660ft lbs torque.

but speed correlates directly to the ratio of weight to hp. a 1:1 ratio (hp:weight) is ideal like the Koenigsegg One for example. but that truck thing right there has a ratio of 1:43 which equals to one engine of the Koenigsegg One powering 43 Koenigsegg One chassis.

Armoured windows can only take so many bullets before it cracks and breaks / shatters. This vehicle being so slow (350 hp motor (same power as in Nissan 370z tiny car) for a 6 ton vehicle !!) that assailants can shoot a dozen bullets easily and get through. That is why you need gun ports to shoot back.

The sunroof is armored. They are fully armored ballistic transparencies. Unless you mean an open sunroof doesn't offer protection, then yeah. If there is grenade presence, hopefully the driver or the passenger remembers to close it.

For everyone discussing the lack of power and armour, these are only the public specs. Each vehicle is built to suit the customer’s needs. One option on these things is its own air system to survive chemical attack. I feel confident enough to say that it would be relatively I.E.D proof and would be able to take multiple 50cal rounds into the windows let alone the doors etc. Only a potential buyer would get close to the true specs.

ok so it can stand AK's but that means if it only stops those a RPG 12.5mm (50 cal) or 20mm 30mm and bigger will punch right on into it....if you saying it will ONLY stop a AK47 round

762 goes through both sides of cars this caliber isn't just specifically for the ak 47 I hate when non gun people talk about guns You can get 762 in any type of platform you want

I want to see how they stand up against getting T-Boned by a Semi at 60 mph. The probability of getting in a car accident is much higher than getting shot at.

That thing stands out a lot. I'd rather get a base tahoe and have it blend in plain sight then have a company armor it and do custom interior. Etc

You actually called that a "dissed" haha I stated something about a video game, I'm obviously not being serious. Well, it isn't. The Insurgent is based off the Tyrradyne Gurkha LAPV and the Insurgent Pick-Up is based off the Tyrradyne Gurkha RPV. If you want to correct someone, atleast get your facts right :)

You would also expect it to be able to stop at least .308 caliber rounds for that price.

it would be pretty badass to drive one of these because you'd be like a secret agent because everyone knows your important but nobody know who you are.

Of course it's not used in Canada. Even if a bird poops on the car. It would say " sorry". No offense

and wifi, you can play most games on pc and if it's a upgraded pc than they usually run way better. Internet is a big one too

they have plastic inserts inside the tires I believe. so if the tire gets shot and looses pressure the wheel will be ridding on the hard plastic inside the tire instead of just flopping the tire around ridding on the rim. So even if u get a flat your tires will not deflate and will still maintain shape.
