I remember seeing Ana Strachan on television performing with her sister.
Nice interview. I am also a Jamaican Living in Spain. I have been here for 7 years now. When i first came here i only came across 4 Jamaican, seeing Jamaicans here was a rarity and still is. But over the past year or 2 the number has increased. I am part of a whatsapp and Facebook group called Jamaicans in spain with 40+ members. There is a good number of Jamaicans in Spain that i know who are not part of the group so the numbers are growing. Most are here in Madrid but there are some in Valencia, alicante, Barcelona, even cuenca ( very rural part of Spain).

I have fallen in love with the Spanish speaking countries and islands. Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico and Spain. The U.K. have been my foundation for 34 years, but now, I’m all Spain. All of it. My home for the rest of my life.😍😍😍😍
I found Barcelona's architecture spectacular. The Catalan was close enough to standard Spanish for me to butcher my way thru but the Siesta I could NOT wrap my mind around. Jus when me get up and out dem lock 🔐 up everywhere for hours. But Barcelona was coastal so it was nice. Sitges was a nice day trip. Btw I lost it when I saw a dread shirtless on a bicycle in Central Barcelona!

These are very positive women. Great representatives for Jamaica.
Kiki I would definitely would like to hear you & your family in conversation, with you guys switching language & all.
Kiki, that's what I remember about being there, the variety of food options, we would go a month without repeating a dish.
ANOTHER VERY INTRESTING INTERVIEW!...JAMAICA MAYBE A "DOT" ON THE MAP, WE LITTLE BUT WE TALLAWAH!....WE ARE ALL OVER THE WORLD! BIG UP JAMAICA!
There is an annual reggae festival in Benicassim This is huge and well represented by a lot of Jamaican artists
Wow this made us laugh...Big up Jamaicans all over the world
My two friends live in Red Hills , did sales there too for a year.
Interesting show. Re fed we have no problem getting all the Caribbean food wanted.including bread fruit in the U.K. What kind of accent is it that Ana has? I know it isn’t a U.K accent. It definitely sounds Jamaican - but with a difference. It was great to learn from Kiki that some people/musicians from Spain will travel to Jamaica to learn about the music reggae. Spain also has a fantastic Moorish history, remember the Moors were there for roughly 700 years. Thank you 🙏🤠

Lovely jubbly. I agree with Kiki regarding our island size. We have big hearts and we're very ambitious and confident. That's why we see our country as 'large'.
The festival happens in August It’s called Rototom Sunsplash.
Not touching on how expensive it is in Spain, I held on to my US$s But it’s a great place. Very nice channel. Most of these countries brought back memories.

Ladies take this as a lesson to not limit yourself about what your spouse should look like. If you only want to marry a Jamaican man, you may end up being a spinster and waiting forever. Don’t be afraid to take a chance.

Great video but one thing... you showed the Santiago Bernabeu instead of the Camp Nou. As a cule (a Barca fan) that hurt me because they are our rivals! XD Great informative interview with a lot of personality :)
My favorite place to live was Seville, Spain. #ProudJamaican
Those onions, she's describing, look's like spring onions we have here in Britain.
Speaking of people 🇯🇲 Jamaicans who have impacted society, Never forget the great civil rights pioneer, Hon Marcus Mosiah Garvey!! At about 25, you talked of outerwear. On my visit to Florence, 🇮🇹 Italy, I also noticed the young people in the Jamaican and Brazilian colours...
You can use molasses to replace browning for the Christmas black cake
If I had spent an extra yr in college I would have been able to do a semester abroad in Spain...man, I wish I did that 😪. Every episode I watch I want to visit the country 🤣🤣.
Kiki, I have fond memories of my time in Pais Basqueo
I would like to know more about the host Xavier Murphy, what's your story.
For me, I was sent to Sardanas because my host father thought that I couldn't live in Catalunya without learning to dance las Sardanas.
