In this video I show you what's inside a new Rock Shox Judy fork.
When you buy a new bike fork, you should always do a first service to make sure everything is okay with the bike fork.
It happens that there are a lot of metal shavings inside the bicycle fork.
Many bike forks have a lack of oil inside.
In this video I'll show you how to take the Rock Shox Judy fork out of the box, do a superficial inspection of the bike fork, and perform the first maintenance.
This video instructions "DIY" for cyclists. Video tutorial in "ASMR" style.

It's just me or he added over 30 instead of 5 mL of oil to the Lower Leg? Overfilling will damage the fork. People are ruining their forks after this video... You can actually tell how much oil was before at 4:59 of this video. As I can tell you should have used 15wt oil 6mL for Damper Side and 10mL for Spring/Air Side.
The judy forks athis is the only suitable suspension fork with a non-tempered shaft, which also fits on china bikes where they always use the worst steel core spring forks. i love this judy fork

Works great on my dirtjumper. I have a 2011 dartmoor player 26 that takes straight steerer. Was nervous at first but after last season with it, itll hold up.

My Rockshock Recon lockout doesn't work..the damper has originaly set..but it's still not working when the lock on
easiest way to service these , just spray some brake cleaner near the seals and all the dirt and crude will come loose and do this 2 or 3 times. Clean and wipe the residuals off with a rag then follow up with some silicone spray.

Thanks the video. When you fill the oil to each leg you have to see a gap between the inner shafts and lower leg. I dont understand, that i have to fill the oil to this gap ( for the lower leg ) or should fill into inside(?!) the rebound damper shaft and coil spring shaft ?

Can you do it with the older Recon? I have a problem, my lock doesn't work and I'm afraid to wrench on it since I'm not experienced with those and don't have oil for it

@@sempi8159 I seached a lot to find nothing that helps. I just use my bike with "half" lockout. My fork kinda stiffens when I apply the lockout which is fine since its a mountain bike

İyi günler. Daha basit bir model ama orijinal bir RockShox almak daha iyidir. Her zaman bir atölyede bakımı yapılabilir, sarf malzemeleri bulabilirsiniz ve Çin malı olandan çok daha uzun ömürlü olacaktır.

Желательно, особенно на вилках бюджетного и среднего сегмента, очень часто встречается заводская стружка, которая если попадет между ногой и бушингом может наделать беды.

This fork is worth buying instead of a stock noname or santur fork, it's much better and the price is quite adequate. Thank you for your feedback. We don't do voice-overs so that people from different countries can watch and understand everything without words.
