The Turtle struggle is real for small people. My wife looked like a soda can with two legs and a head when we went hiking in the Rocky Mountains.

Thank you, Earl! I‘ve been a big fan of the pinqponq bag for years as well, wish they would produce dedicated photography bags as well.

Every camera that joins the collection also includes one decision more that has to be made. Thanks for your comment, I can relate! ✌🏼
I recently went to London before the lockdown and used one of those inserts in a regular messenger bag. Worked well. Also, if you run out of camera bag videos "get home bad" videos are similarly addictive. Admittedly they made more sense when I had a longer commute.

So for the bag has served me well! :) The M6 is indeed an absolute pleasure to shoot and has been a dream of mine for a long time as well. Thanks for your comment! :)
I also share your love of "What's in my bag?" videos. I have always been fascinated by the choices made by other photographers. I have a LOT of cameras, and set up a "big" bag for each system, almost always of an appropriate vintage for the camera. My largest is the large Billingham, which totes my Nikon DSLR kit, and my smallest is a vintage Omnica, which has little clips to hold my Barnack Leica, all of its lenses, and other assorted kit. I always have a small bag in my vehicle with me, so I can pull out whatever I think I might need for a particular walk or adventure from the larger bag and go light. Worst case is that I have to go back to my vehicle to get more stuff! I really love your approach and your photography and look forward to seeing how you adapt to the Bronica. I'm a Hasselblad guy, but I think the Bronica system is the last true bargain in medium format. Cheers! Andy

Thanks for your comment and an insight into your camera bag setup! :) Having a bag for different systems and also using vintage bags sounds pretty interesting!
Whelp! With this video, you're officially a youtuber!! Hahaha. Love the size of the Bronica, similar to my Hasselblad. Such a great portable size for medium format. The more portable things are, the more you end up taking photos and end up becoming a better photographer (I got that from a fortune cookie. A long fortune. It was more fortune than cookie I would say).

I know, I am slowly working my way through the must dos of film photography video topics haha. I totally agree with whole 'size matters' (wink wink) thing, for me portability is a key feature. People call the Bronica the "Japanese Hasselblad" for a good reason. Hope to see something about the Hassy on your channel. :)
How did I miss this for a whole week? I enjoy these videos, but I've been working out of about 3 or 4 camera bags lately and I've thought another try would be impractical. Thanks for proving me wrong, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who lives in a few different bags.

@@KarinMajoka I somehow manage that most of the time. ha ha. And I'll work on that! :)
I was just thinking about “what’s in my camera bag” videos last week when I discovered what WASN’T in my camera bag… a Sinar to Technika lens board adaptor (for my 8x10 camera). I was only able to shoot with the one wide angle lens I had that lives on a Sinar board, although what I wanted to shoot was more normal angle of view shots. I guess another thing I should have in my camera bag is a check list.

i just stumbled upon your videos a few day ago and im binging your videos! your doing great work and its refreshing to see a fellow german doing analog stuff. small tipp if your Audiorecorder has a Low cut, switch it on for a setup like this, to counterwork the vibration sound from the desk wen putting something on it or tapping on it.

Thanks you! And also thanks for the tipp, I had to learn this lesson the hard way sadly. I also noticed the issue with the audio recorder and vibration sound from the desk, but did not want to record the video again just because of that. I have changed my audio setup to a lav-mic since then, so I have not had this issue anymore :)

I have a bag for nearly every camera I own, which is quite a few!!! However, I also have two larger bags for when I go out for more than a day or so. Most of my bags are those small camera bags you can sling over a shoulder and just have your camera and a lens or two. With point n shoots, it's even smaller than those and usually just large enough for the camera and that's it. It's good with my Oly E-M1 because I can fit it and 3-4 lenses and a few bits n pieces even into a small bag. My Minolta SRT's can both fit into the one bag along with a few lenses, so I can fit one with B&W and the other colour film.
@KarinMajoka

Wow, having a bag for every camera is really something! That sounds like a good solution though. I recently switched up my camera bag system a bit, so the video is not as up-to-date anymore. I also got myself a small sling bag which is very convenient and lightweight. :)

I'd like to have a dry cabinet or two to stick my cameras and lenses in, as I presently use the bags to store them in. But, with the number of bags I have, I can pick and chose between them as to what I can take or will take out when I go and shoot. Most of small point n shoots are in small bags. And all my cameras have an "assigned" bag, pretty much. Another thing I do is put a couple of silica gel packs in my bags to help keep them dry. I also put them in my lens cases and bags as well.
I want that couch!
@KarinMajoka
4 жыл бұрын
The couch is awesome but it’s a love-hate-relationship. It’s been with me when I moved apartments. Trust me, you need at least 6 people to carry an oak couch and that’s the moment you wish you did not want it back then haha
The Zenzanon 75mm f/2.8 is such a good value. At least in the US, they're under 100 USD and perform really well. Looking forward to seeing what you produce with it!
@KarinMajoka

Exactly, it’s affordable and pretty sharp. I think the entire Bronica systems are still on the cheaper side of medium format cameras but so underestimated for what they are
I'm with you on loving "what's in my bag" videos. Fun stuff. BTW I think you might be able to get rid of some of the noise if you put a foam pad or similar beneath the mic tripod, it feels like it travels through the table top and the rigid tripod isn't absorbing anything.
@KarinMajoka
4 жыл бұрын
Good advice, thanks! I only realised that the mic recorded pretty much every movement I make on the table after I recorded the video and did not want to record it again just for that reason. But I am learning as I go and will definitely put something underneath next time! :)

In your video you got to deeply rooted issue I have: what gear should I bring and I am obsessed with fear of missing out. I noted you did not have a handful of lenses for every possible situation- certainly something for me to ponder over 😊

You can send me your Pentax 67 and I will gladly try it out for you - cannot guarantee I will ship it back though haha. Just kidding, I have not tried it with such a big camera, but you can configure the walls in the bag yourself, so I am sure it should work out one way or another.
