    I have the 28 Summilux, 35 Summilux FLE II, 50 Summilux, and 75 APO Summicron for “Clinical” 😉, and the 28 Summaron and 35 Steel Rim re-issue for “Character”. Not using the 75 very much, might consider selling that. I didnt know you sold your Q2! I’ll have to look for that video.

    Yeah I decided to sell it and get a 28 for my M! I just love the M experience. Great lens lineup you have there 💪🏼

    My carries are two Filson bags , the small field bag and the medium field bag. Both equipped with camera inserts, the small one is perfect for my leica m4 and some film. The medium bag is perfect if I want to travel with more cameras and accessories. Great video

    I actually LOVE this. I carry an old Filson field bag as well, with a camera insert. Mostly carry this in the late summer/fall.

    I have a single SmallRig RC120B with a soft box. For ambient light I have small Ambitful LED lights.

    you do know the summitar can be collapsed without any issue right? at least, it can be collapsed on the m10 and earlier series with no issues (I've used the vintage collapsible 50mm elmar, 50mm summicron and the 50mm summitar on mine as well as the macro elmar 90mm but that shouldn't raise concerns since it is designed for the M mount of the get go). only problem with collapsible lenses would be removing and attaching the lens (make sure it is extended to prevent unnecessary knocking of the rangefinder coupling mech on the m). as far as I'm aware, only the vintage 90mm collapsible elmar may damage the sensor as it is written on the instruction manual.

    Hey what size clever straps do you use when carrying 2 cameras. I got the 28 and the 40 I think and they both seem pretty short. I’m 5’11

    This is the exact same setup I have, the 40 on my M11 and the 27 on my M6. I’m 6’0 and they work great.

    If I’m not mistaking you mentioned in past video that you ordered the SL2 w 24-70 set up. How’s that working out and why didn’t we get a peak? Anyway thanks for your enthusiasm.

    I did order an SL2S and 24-70! But I’m mostly using it for video. I did include it on a back half of this video as I walked through my video rig (hence the strange appearance of a yellow pelican case in the closing), but decided to cut it and save it for its own video later.

    On an Instagram post a while back, if I am remembering correctly, I thought you had mentioned really liking the Zeiss Biogon 28mm, did the summicron 28mm replace it?

  • @davidherring

    @davidherring

    6 ай бұрын

    It was actually the 21mm Biogon. Loved how sharp it was, but it was just too wide. Replaced it with the 28mm Summicron.

    @@davidherring Ah, nice, I recently sold my Q2 as well and am thinking about going either a Summicron 28mm or an Ultron II 28mm

    @ianforber they “moved” everything into iPhoto, which what that means was they made iPhone (not Photos) a consumer editor and left pros behind.
