PLEASE READ There is some complete waste of a life pretending to be me and messaging everyone saying they have won a prize and they need to telegram. This person has managed to get the @snapsbyfox handle on telegram and is pretending to be me. It is obviously not me because the level of English is horrific and he refuses to prove it is me - just gets aggressive. Please use your common sense and report any comment here you see. I’m actively trying to get this piece of shit removed but the social platforms are not the easiest to deal with. Thank you.

KZread highlights the name of the person who posted the video in the comments. If you're unsure if they're a clone, look for that highlight. Also, as a general rule of thumb; do not click links from random people you don't know, especially when they're offering outrageous random things for free in a public forum.

Roman, I agree with you on The sling style bag rather than a backpack. I switched a decade ago to a waxed canvas Domke Messenger style worn across the body and it’s great for access and security and importantly the look is understated which is good when you’re in a foreign city and worried about security. It’s got a little sleeve slot down the back to put maps or an iPad. Though it’s small I’m able to fit a big DSLR full frame with a couple of lenses no problem. Now I put my Fuji XE4 and a couple of lenses and it’s almost empty so I can slip a water bottle in there as well In one of the lens slots

Same bag. Highly recommended. Usual contents: X100T, TCL, three batteries, spare SD Card and a square lens hood for the in-body lens, a usb cable to transfer the files to my phone (Fuji app is garbage...most of the time). I "envy" apple users for the eco system and how well the watch works. Some things just are not as polished in Android and Windows...not willing to switch though and for on-the-go my Pixel 5 has to be enough. Always nice to hear how you start your walks and make the most of it. I guess the biggest problem is that we often bring too much. Nevertheless, I would like to switch from my xh-1 to an xt-4 (I need Ibis for old lenses) and then maybe not use my x100t as much anymore? Don't know if that would be great...I just like that old thing so much.

That is a good travel kit . I use something similar . By wide angle is on my phone - 60mm as my walk about and 120 mm for portraits . Therefore on my city visits I use 60mm because I like anything between 55-58 as my 50 lens and the 60mm lens ticks that box . My phone has a 28mm and that works as a good balance with the lens glued to the camera and the portrait option is double my walk about

A sling/messenger/shoulder bag is indeed great for accessing your stuff, and for security. However, it can wreck your back. So I will often balance things out by carrying two smaller bags, e.g. small camera bag on one side with the bits and bobs, phone, wallet, whatever. But the camera itself goes on the other side, either on a strap, or in a second small bag. This setup is not so elegant, but in the end freedom from pain trumps elegance.

Another great video Roman! Always love and appreciate your brief, succinct to the point approach. I'm packing a similar set up with an Xt-3 and sometimes I throw in my X100V. I did have one question. I thought that you mentioned your wrist strap in this video so I watched twice to be sure I didn't miss the call out on what type you use. If you could enlighten me I'd appreciate it. I'm currently using one that is leather and uses the peak design anchor. I like it okay but sometimes the leather chaffs my wrist so I'm looking for a softer more comfortable choice. Watching your video the one you are using seems to be made of parachord with a longish leash connection to the camera. Safe travels and please keep the videos coming. Best regards.

I got mine from a refurb store for a bit over 100EUR and it is well worth it. And they sell easily for the same price again, so if you don't like it, just turn around and sell it again.

Hi Roman. Good video this week. I've moved across to Sony for the big pixel count on the A7R IV so I crop a lot and print big from the subsequent image. I still have foot in the Fuji camp. I've got an X-E4 with the pancake 27mm and used 18-55 and 55-230. All in a Crumpler Proper Roadie sling. The whole kit is light as a feather and very powerful. I was a bit concerned that the X-E4 was a bit sparse on the buttons and controls. Not so. Really not so. Fuji have worked their magic and I can't recommend the camera enough. Too much winging and obsessing about lots of bits of specs and minor differences between this brand or body or that.

Hey, are you interested in the X-H2S that is rumored to be announced on May 31st? As far as we know that's still a 26Mp camera, but with much higher video specs and a stacked sensor, seems like a very good hybrid option. Better AF is rumored as well. Or maybe you're more interested in the higher resolution X-H2 coming later? Also when it comes to slingbags, I definetly think that the sweetspot is the 6L version for the peak design bags. I tried the 3L, and it's too small for a lot of the thing I wanna carry (I use a viltrox 85mm f/1.8 on my X-T2, that definitetly doesn't help...). I found the 6L bag to be the perfect size for an hybrid bag though, I hate having my phone in my pocket, so it can double as a regular bag housing my wallet, papers, phone, keys, glasses, umbrella (if need be), AND a camera on the smaller size like an X-T2/3 with a small lens like the 18mm f2 or the 27mm f2.8, or an X100 camera

Same bag, I carry a X-T3 with a 35mm F2 and my beloved X100T. No need to change lenses, that's all I ever need. Spare batterys and SD Card and a microfiber cloth. That's all...

I have a question. You always shoot prime any reason that you don’t use zoom lenses? Because with zoom lenses you have more focal length? I just wanted to know why you prefer primes over zoom.

I do use the zoom a lot but I just don't like to carry it round too much as it's bigger and heavier. also I enjoy using primes

Perfect timing for me to see this comment. Been looking at slings and have narrowed it down to Moment and the 6L Peak. Was going to take my camera into the store to see how fit etc. I don’t know anyone who has the 6L Peak, so no one to ask.

@@zeballos5757 Using the 6L here. Daily carrying XPro3 with 27mm pancake, sometimes with my ipad mini. Fantastic bag as it gives me more room when I need to actually bring more stuff, 3L seems really constrained to a single camera kit

@@mattg8888 heres some more info if you'd like. im using 3 compartments similar to the default out of factory layout, 1 for my xpro3+27mm, 1 for lenses and 1 for mobile charger/foldable tote bag(if you know what i mean xD)/or maybe a little film camera (Kodak M38). for the lens compartment, i put my 35mm 1.4 at the bottom, use the partition thing that folds down and put the 18mm 1.4 on top. these all fit perfectly and i can close the bag without any stretch. however with this set up I normally will skip my ipad mini because even though it can still be put into the back compartment, it will make the whole bag a bit too heavy to carry round for a photo outing. i very much enjoy the flexibility that this bag gives me, so i do recommend getting one to cater for more situations :) sorry it seems like a mess to read im trying my best to visualize the layouts haha

That sling doesn’t look it carries more than just the body with a lens on it. Do you keep your other lenses loose in your luggage? When you leave your hotel for the day do you just pick one lens? “Today feels like a 50mm day”… “today feels like a 28mm day” ?

There is one BIIIIIG downside of this bag. Although the material is good for durability and weather resistance, the inner side which touches your clothes is made from the same material which is abrasive. It can destroy your clothes, actually 🙁. I recommend wearing it at a lower position so that it moves a minimum.

I would actually advise picking up X-T3 over the X-T4 for video, if anyone shoots more video than photo. As much as I love flippy screens, they get in the way when rigged up with monitors/v-mounts. You can leave a tilt screen open to have an eye on settings constantly, but I wouldn't have a flippy screen constantly open when shooting video. It's gonna snap with the slightest bump in busy environments. Also, the IBIS isn't great for video. Had many shots that would have been keepers, if not for the wobble, even on 16 or 23mm.

There's a lot of hoops you wouldn't have to jump through if you were on Android instead of iPhone! My EDC is very similar to yours but I can just connect the camera directly to the phone with a C to C cable to transfer images instead of needing an SD Card reader and I don't need any of the adapters either. Editing on the Galaxy Fold is a great experience too 😉 Most of the time I don't even bring my laptop!
