I have a Ricoh 8.1 megapixel GR digital camera which I use for black and white at high isos for creative work. I love it's filmic qualities. I did my last wedding assignment in 2008 for a friend with a Nikon D40 with a Nikon 18 70 f 3.5 /f4.5 lens and a Sb600 Speedlight flash. I used a 55 to 200 tele for candid shots and Nikon 50mm 1.8 for low light without flash. The pictures were superb. I just gave him the card. I don't do any paid work anymore. I carry the Ricoh in my pocket everywhere with a spare card and battery. It does colour well and has a cute pop up flash which gets people smiling immediately.

Hi Bryce, nice camera setuo you have there! It would have been interesting to see some examples of the photos you take with those lenses. And one question, how do you like the colors on your ipad compared to a laptop or desktop pc?
@Spock105 Жыл бұрын
Agree on fact that in many cases big cameras are not a way to go for random and certainly streetphotography. My D850 stays home and I use mostly my X-pro2. Lenses I use on that Fuji . The 23mmF2 & 14mmF2.8. Also TT-artisans 50mmF1.1 (leica mount ) , Meyer Optik Oreston 50mmF1.8 & Trioplan 50mmF2.9, and I can also use all my Nikon & old Zuiko's if wanted. The X-pro's are fantastic . Though possible I get me also the X100f & Lumix GX9 or Olympus Pen F. Question of even getting something smaller for travel.

thanks for the vid! Since you shoot with the 50 primarily and use the 16mm f/1.4 for context, why's it that you find yourself using the 23 more than 35? Maybe a similar question is if you had the 16mm and 50mm (or 56mm), would you choose the 23mm or 35mm if you had to bring only one?

Does the eye-focus work if you have it in OVF-mode on the X-Pro2? The reason I ask is that on my X-Pro2 the eye focus stuff turns off when I'm in OVF and reverts to point or regular area focus. Thanks for a great video! Sounds like a great setup!
