My EDC is: iPhone 14 Pro, Beats Flex Bluetooth In-ear Headphones, Garmin Tactical Solar, slim wallet with a card/cash, 300 ml water bottle, fold-up umbrella (I’m in UK!) and Sony A6700 + Zeiss/Sony 16-70mm f4 (24-105mm equivalent) or Sony 24-105mm f4 Full Format (equivalent to 36-158mm on APS-C) with spare battery & SD card. All in Osprey Siskin 12 cyclists rucksack.

Really nice setup you got there, personally I shoot with my phone for quick moments, and my main camera is The Lumix S5 With the 20 - 60mm lens, I'm also thinking about getting the 50mm f1.8 great video.

I only started to build my kit in December of last year and I'm carrying way too much stuff all the time. I always have an a7CII with the Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 DN and an a7RIV with the Sigma Art 40mm f1.4 HSM, as well as the Sigma 20mm f2 C and the Samyang 135mm f1.8 with me. Also a Godox TT600 flash with the X2T transmitter. I downsized to a7CII with the 85 1.4 and a7RIV with the 40 1.4 and the flash. When I need a lens for a specific project, I'll bring it. But just having everything with me all the time just in case is not the way. At least I'm not bringing my 1.5kg (3lbs) Tamron 70-200 f2.8 everywhere. I noticed that that is going to apply a damage over time debuff on my back very quickly

That drone sucks...it can’t be jailbroken and you are locked down with geo-fencing

You cant conect your camara to the phone and transfer with ubs-c to usb-c cable and saved the adapter!

I am a hobbyist. My gear contains pixel 8 pro and mini 2 drone. I was thinking of adding a camera to my setup which I'm leaning towards the Sony 6700 and sigma 18-50mm lens considering my limited budget. Please let me know your thoughts on this combination?

depends what your budget is. you could also buy a used sony a7iii and lense-wise the 50mm prime is super cheap, and the 35mm is also affordable (both f 1.8)

if you are looking for a more compact setup go for the a6700, you definitely wont regret it as it is sony's newest apsc camera. i had the a7iii and personally the a6700 is much more enjoyable to use because it has a better menu, flip screen, better stabilisation and overall gives you more things to work with. only issue is 1 card slot instead of 2, max shutter of 1/4000 instead of 1/8000 and a little worse low light performance but if youre a hobbyist these things probably dont matter as much.
