I love every Leon update but honestly i have to say I also love all the other stuff about local wildlife, animal rescue and local history that you add to the videos, the whole package is simultaneously relaxing and interesting

I quote literally just got introduced to this channel and first video was him picking Leon up from the grocery store, so naturally I went to his most recent video figuring Leon was long gone, but no, he’s more beautiful than ever, gorgeous brown and blue hues, really gives one a newfound respect for the scorpions of the sea

He looks so, so healthy! Compared to when you got him, it’s crazy. I’m so happy for him, living his best life.

Leon is looking absolutely gorgeous, he's got some massive claws again, warms my heart, just beautiful. The little crab is adorable btw.

I feel like everyone once thought what it would be like to keep a store lobster as a pet, but Brady was the only one daring enough to rise above the rest and do it himself, respect

my family had a crayfish that was gona be boiled and we had like 400 baby crayfish. wild time tho id say crayfish are not fishes friends more like food lols

@@CanadianBear47 I have a memory back in the 80s of my older brother chasing me around with a live red crayfish that he had picked up because were everywhere on the shore one year (mating season or something, idk?). I was just a little thing, probably no more than five or six years old. But they were EVERYWHERE! He really had fun scaring the bajeezus out of me lol.

@@CanadianBear47 Do they burrow? Because they seemed to be just hanging out on the beach sand everywhere! They were red. I remember it so vividly still. It was on a beach called Carpenteria. Fear memories really stick with us!

Daring enough and had all the equipment and know-how! We've tried to keep an aquarium, it's not easy! My RA in college had several in his room. He was WAY into it, knew all the fish, it was fun hanging out in his room and watching, hearing the pumps purr and the bubbles, the fish swim around. At night, his room didn't need lights because of all the colorful tanks! It's also an expensive hobby...so hats off to Brady!

I lost my chameleon, Frederic, a couple of weeks ago. He was almost six. We shared a very close bond. I keep forgetting and glancing over my shoulder at his vivarium to check he's okay. One thing that has brought me comfort is watching other people enjoying spending time with their pets.

I’m so sorry for your loss 🦎 I know this pain. I lost my lill bearbead dragon one year ago she was 9 years old. Her tank is still here it’s hard without her but I keep her memories on my heart. Keep the beautiful memories of your lill one into your heart

As a moose, I enjoyed this immensely. A perfect way to spend 25 mins.

You can tell how beautiful that old house used to be. Such a shame nobody cared about it after Sally’s death. 😕

It's been hectic out here lately and I'm glad to see that Leon and the crabs are enjoying the simple life safe in their aquarium.

It's so nice to feel your love for other living creatures. I wish more people could live like this.

Leon brings me enough joy to the point that it’s almost embarrassing. The ending of the video just reminds me that you can’t take anything with you. Which is just a reminder to be kind to those you love while you can. Looking forward to the next installment! Long live Leon!

Leon looks great. His coloring is beautiful. I still remember his first molt (did I just use that sentence :) and how cathartic it was for many of us when he left his scarred, banded, beat up claws behind…as it should be. A house built in 1948 is not that long ago and sad to see what’s happened to that property in under 20 yrs. Ending video with Leon greeting you at aquarium glass puts life in perspective. Thx for taking care of all the kitties and keep us posted on the little one who lost his foot…

Leon is looking so beautiful! Thanks for the update, and thank you for highlighting the snakes, too. So many of them are killed senselessly, just because people don't understand them and have been taught to fear them. In reality, they don't want to hurt you, and they have their own roles to play.

Your side quest of befriending the little crab(s) is so wholesome + sweet, congrats on getting him to eat from your hand! I am praying for feral mama + her precious babies, I really hope you are able to help that sweet little fuzzy black kitten with his injured leg/ paw. Maybe a TNR group will be able to assist if they are too hard to get close to, but I have a good feeling you might be able to get close enough to them. Appreciate you taking us on adventures with you Brady!

Leon truly became the king of his domain. He's regal. Something I never thought could be said of a lobster! And the little crab is quite charismatic, and so very polite. They have so much personality, it's like they came out of a children's book. Even the frogs have an opinion! Your kingdom, kind sir, is simply beautiful, enchanted, like stepping in some parallel universe. If I may offer a piece of advice: stay there. Not much positive going on these days on our side. I cannot wait to see what you'll do with the other aquarium. And I think you're courageous, going in those abandonned houses. I could not do it. Too creepy! And you are right about the cats' hair. I only have the one, and I remove about a cup of hair every morning when I brush him. I imagine you can fill a small pillow every day!

A children's book would be amazing. Our new neighbor wrote one about a great Blue Heron that took up a presence in their yard in California. Look for "Henry, The Great Blue Heron" by Sondra Perry. Beautiful illustrations & a wonderful story for kids. They bought fish for Henry for 12 years & he even strolled into the house on occasion 😊

Heads up for you. Don't allow your kitties to chew on the frogs or the snail/slug. It can make them very sick and they will get internal parasites from them. Same with large insects. A moth or a fly or a spider isn't going to give your kitty intestinal parasites, but a bigger insect like a beetle might make them sick. Love your videos and I love catching up on how Leon is doing. You make really nice relaxing beautiful videos.

I recently went back to the first leon films, and it's UNREAL how much more beautiful he's become

I can’t believe his spectacular lush rich colors , he almost looks like velvet and eyes so sharp and clear , beautifully healthy , such a joy to see

Leon looks marvelous. The old house is probably like what happened with my mother. All her money was in jewelry, gold and other valuable antiques. However, she never spent a dime maintaining the house…and the house slowly deteriorated over the years. By the time of her death, the house needed more work than it was worth but the property was valuable. We sold the property as is with the decaying house…..much less than what it could have been worth if she took care of the house……..the new owner tore most of the house down. They kept the garage and rebuilt it. I’ll drive by next year and see what else they’ve done. That’s what happens to houses.

Leon looks amazing. What a beautiful, fascinating place you live in. Living somewhere like that would be my idea of heaven. So sad to see a once beautiful house become derelict. The cat and her kittens. I am a cat lover and hope you can help the mother cat by catching her and getting her spayed so she won't have to raise kittens again and also get the little crippled kitten help. Not sure if he's lost part of his leg in an accident or if he's been born that way. Please let us know how these cats get on.

Lobsters can't scream since they don't have vocal cords. When they're put into the boiling water, air is escaping from their shells and that's what some people confuse with screaming. Having said that, I don't eat lobsters ^^;

They don’t feel pain. The rubber bands are so that they don’t harm the other lobsters in the tank. Educate yourself.

Scientists have shown that their reaction to painful stimuli is more than just a reflex response and instead, they learn from painful stimuli and change their behavior.

The pottery studio is gorgeous. We were always rescuing frogs from our cats when we lived opposite a creek. Leon is looking so healthy.

I love how you were able to grow your channel from a fun channel to " let's see what happens if we rescue a lobster from a store" and now Leon is even sustaining himself financially (yep ill be honest, I havnt seen any of your other vids, but the updates from Leon make me smile, thank you so much for the continued story on him that is one lucky lobster

Northeastern Georgia is beautiful. So many waterfalls and creeks in one area is amazing. I'm lucky enough to have been able to visit Helen, Georgia about a dozen times or more. It's one of my favorite places.

The nature around your place is beautiful, and reminds me of Kentucky, (my home) But I gotta' say, the tour of Sally's house made me a little sad 😢, I agree, Sally would roll over if she could see it now. I think Leon is absolutely living his best life! As an animal caretaker you are to be commended for taking such good care of all of the creatures that are in AND around your home. That home…I LOVE it! Such character it has. I am always in awe of such homes and would love to be able to restore it to its full glory. ..especially that staircase..

Oh gosh, I can't imagine what it would take to save that house... probably 4x what it would cost to bulldoze and rebuild with the same floor plan. But yes, we need more homes with unique, charming layouts like that again!

I have lived in Northeast Georgia since I was born in 1993, and I am about to move far, far away for what might be the rest of my life. Watching you film the wildlife and talking about the architecture and surrounding area will always give me a taste of home when I need it, even though I am six time zones away. Don’t leave Northeast Georgia if you can help it! It’s the best! We left there for Texas and now back in East Central Alabama near Mt Cheaha. Plotting a move back to Georgia eventually. It’s just gotten so expensive to buy property there now.

It’s so surprising how colorful Leon got since his second molt we have a one acre pond in on my family’s 15 acres and it’s filled with catfish and a huge snapping turtle that come up to our deck at night to eat the food we feed them every night . We plan on adding a water fall to the pond soon and digging it a bit deeper so we can add some sunfish and hybrids in there to teach our three young grandchildren how to fish. We have noticed some crayfish on the shores of the pond. Thank you for sharing Leon’s journey, I never thought I could enjoy watching a lobster grow in a fish tank. Have you thought about building him an outdoor enclosure in the future? Btw I love your Norfolk pine tree that you have in the house!

Leon is so healthy looking now. I feed the foxes everynight,it's 22.40pm here in the UK,and ive just put their supper out on the lawn.

I think that koi pond might be Bobby the Karate Cat's version of a grocery store lobster case. That little crab peekaboo before he grabbed his snack just filled me with all the warm fuzzies. Thanks for keeping us updated on Leon's journey. He's captivated so many of us around the world who probably just walk past grocery store lobsters every day without a second thought.

Every video is amazing. I've been watching your videos since you rescued Leon. And now it's more than that. The wildlife, the cats, the koi, exploring abandoned buildings.
