You have great deal of track work. You have put lots of thought and effort into the design and installation. Especially like your interchanges and eyes. Haven’t seen that before in your scale. You will build a viewer base because you have interesting content. There are those of us that will vicarously live out our dreams through you. Tail on oh rail baron! (Are derailments much of an issue?)

It is not my railroad but I live nearby. The owner would walk out in the woods to visualize where to put the track. He started building it almost 30 years ago. Derailments happen occasionally but usually aren’t too serious. Cars can be lifted by hand larger locomotives require specialized tools. Thanks for watching

@@steamlogger I also watch a similar rail road. His moves heating material from one location on his property to another. He frequently has derailments . So I realize how easy it is to re-align the cars. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Rail on.

It is hard to believe it is a private railroad. It is a great place to run trains.

Just WOW! What a national treasure. Now on my bucket list. I was able to follow on the map most of the way. When you were coming through Hidden Valley, I missed the cue to Skyview and thought you were heading to Maplewood. I caught up at Greenville. One question though: why is Green on the bottom like roadway stop lights versus on the top like railway tri-color signals? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the ride on your railroad. At 2:34 - was the locomotive built from scratch or was it a kit? It reminds me of the HO scale Athearn Hustler. Keep up the great work!

you should get one of those spinning brushes put it on the front of the train and use that to clean the rails

I made the wireless controller my self. It has a micro controller with Nordic NFR24L01 radio. Not yet available for sale. Thanks for watching.

Seems you need a timber bunk car to haul all the fallen wood back to base

Get those log cars out to help with those "trees" across the tracks. 😂😂😂

Your railways are in much better condition than the ones here in Scotland. Maybe you should ask the Scottish government if you can run the Scotrail network!!

I would use a steam locomotive burning coal and or wood with a spark arrester so sparks won't fly out the stack

What was / is the reason for the track changes?

The track by the lake there was tree roots pushing up the track. The new bridge and alignment was due to tight curves. The original curves by the lagoons was some of the first track put down in 1994. Thanks for watching.

How do you powere your train?

This engine is electric. I converted it from gas. Here is a video from when it was gas. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKt2rsFqpKrMp7Q.html I use a brushless motor running at 24 volts.

This is a great video but it would have been nice if we could hear what you were saying. A lapel mic would have helped because the engine and car noises were drowning you out.
