What Route Do I Take I Hope I Don't Get Lost

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Ride along at the White Creek Railroad on a sunny December day. I take a much different route as we explore this one eighth scale railroad. The White Creek Railroad is a private 7.5" (190mm) railroad located near Grand Rapids Michigan. With approximately five miles (8 km) of main track this is one of the larger miniature railroads. This ride was taken in the off season. Several times a year the railroad invites others to bring their trains and "operate" the railroad by moving freight cars to the many "customers" along the line.

You have great deal of track work. You have put lots of thought and effort into the design and installation. Especially like your interchanges and eyes. Haven’t seen that before in your scale. You will build a viewer base because you have interesting content. There are those of us that will vicarously live out our dreams through you. Tail on oh rail baron! (Are derailments much of an issue?)

It is not my railroad but I live nearby. The owner would walk out in the woods to visualize where to put the track. He started building it almost 30 years ago. Derailments happen occasionally but usually aren’t too serious. Cars can be lifted by hand larger locomotives require specialized tools. Thanks for watching

@@steamlogger I also watch a similar rail road. His moves heating material from one location on his property to another. He frequently has derailments . So I realize how easy it is to re-align the cars. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Rail on.
