Yea and it’s premise and chemistry of cast was unique and natural. Still a classic show.

Not only did Paramount say no to the movie, but they kept the rights to the script so the movie could never be made. That's pretty sadistic.

That’s Hollywood production companies in a nutshell, like the “person” Craig that he eluded to, I’ve met a hundred of those types of people who worked for lionsgate and other production companies that have nothing but fowl experiences in a types of positions from in front of the camera to behind it

I was going to be a coordinator on the movie. Met the guys and everything. Everyone was super nice and super excited to work on the movie and literally the thursday before rehearsals we got the rug pulled. very sad

BULLSHIT. This movie needs to be made. These guys are comedic geniuses

This is why these streaming services are flopping. They all want to make an Avengers and other movies pleasing China. While also green lighting a bunch of terrible politically correct stuff that sucks.

They done the fans dirty too! I was excited as hell when I heard about the workaholics film. Ultimately I’ll watch anything these guys are in! Workaholics is a gem!

Absolutely a shame that the show never continued the best comedy show ever these guys just kill it.

Peacock needs to pick it up, Adam is doing the Pitch Perfect show on it and they’re giving us a Community movie and Monk movie, they’d be the perfect place for it

Paramount+ sucks. I cancelled it once I heard they cancelled this movie, and because they have no content whatsoever for the price they're asking for, just subscribed to peacock instead because of the better content and stuff they've got in development.

When you listen to their podcast it’s clear that that’s just pretty much who they are in real life. Their characters are just SLIGHTLY more ridiculous versions of themselves.

Man. A workaholics movie would be epic.

Paramount just doesn’t want to say they don’t have the money hahaha. When the Workaholics movie got canceled it coincided with Costner leaving Yellowstone their flag ship show which they know can’t carry on without him so it’s over. Then found out the creator Taylor Sheridan was way over spending on the other few shows that they let him make which will probably last only a season or 2. So they had to cut a lot of things sadly the Workaholics movie being one of them but I hope it finds another home.

All bullpoo aside. I genuinely appreciate these talented artists calling out the disgrace of the elite

workaholics is one of the freest expressions of comedy... fuck paramount... i bet its one of their top streaming shows... i would invest personally to make that movie a reality, lets get weird.

There was only 1 real reason… The Workaholics movie was gonna be way too REAL for these studios. It doesn’t fit their formula, of “inclusivity” and so paramount wasn’t going to take a chance on them. Workaholics literally got Cancelled

Kinda throwing shade at Blake with the title, since within the last few weeks he's been on everyone else's podcast but yours, telling the same story the Anders is telling lol

Would love to see the movie go through! But also, paramount plus is not imploding lol. They’re definitely one of the top streaming forms currently

They aren't close to Disney+, Netflix, Hulu or Max. Just because you're beating Amc+ amd Peacock does not mean you're doing well.

So this is a really nuanced issue and I don't want people jumping to conclusions. It's important we look at the root cause, and not cast blame around willy nilly. A lot of complicated decision making process goes into the movie making synergy, so I think overall what we should really take away, from this, on a bottom line basis is ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Fuck Paramount Plus

I'm clearly in the minority, but by the time the end of the Workaholics series came around, it was starting to be old and played out. I had no interest in the movie and forgot about it until I saw this clip. That being said, there's so much garbage on these streaming services now that they should've been given a chance.

I kind of agree honestly. It was never bad, but last couple of seasons I felt like they were losing steam. So not really sure how much longer they coulda gone while staying funny. Would love to see this movie tho!

The show stopped being funny after the second season, the movie would have bombed.

Idk why they dont Crowdfund the project... Bet money that they could raise enough across North America alone. People want(ed) it enough.
