7:35 I don't think Eliot Ludwig was necessarily evil because as the VHS tape implied He was a family man and despite being divorced he loved his daughter very much , so after his daughter died he started experimenting to resurrect her or transfer her soul to another body. But he first started experimenting on rats and toys. If Ludwig was evil them he wouldn't try to transfer his own daughters soul to a toy, the only reason he would probably do so was because he didn't want to sacrifice any other human life for the sake of his daughter. And as you said the orphans were most likely experimented upon, and Ludwig being a person who loved his child so much wouldn't go around taking the lives of other children. This is why the prototype was created , the prototype's design is much more human-noid than the other toys , so the prototype was most likely meant for his daughter in which he can transfer her soul. But then Ludwig died for some reason, he figured that the experiment needed human subjects so he offered his body to be experimented upon for exp.1-0-0-6 , that's how he became the prototype

Very logical! And after this, the company likely fell under new management. Management that wasn't as morally pure. Eventually Ludwig/1006 was able to contact Huggy Wuggy and tell him to go on his Rampage in attempts to put a stop to the sinister acts. In the tape, the thumps heard are very reminiscent of the vent chase.

It never says anything about his daughter. It says family death, so we don’t know if it’s his daughter.

While watching the death sences, after each game, I came to the conclusion that maybe Mommy Long Legs is supplying the prototype with parts from the other toys by traping them in her webs and waiting for 1006 to come collect them. This is why I believe she was freaking out when we killed her. She knew if she didn't get the prototype the parts he needed, he might come after her.

Judging by the information we have, a popular theory is that the prototype makes deceased toys a part of it to build itself up. We kind of already know this thanks to what MLL says when you defeat her ("HE'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!"). Chances are that an amalgamation of all the toys we oof throughout the game (Huggy, MLL, and the future chapters’ antagonists) will be the monster of the final chapter, aka the final boss. I agree with this and I hope we’re right. TL,DR; Popular theory: Prototype builds itself up with deceased toys and an amalgamation will be the final boss

This could be similar to that one SCP-001 Proposal, ‘When Day Breaks’ (I’ll call it ‘W-D-B’). Once the ‘W-D-B’ victims have become one of the melted creatures, they celebrate it. They urge other people to become them, pretend to be their ‘Before-Change’ mind and body etc. Though everyone and the SCP Foundation clearly knows ‘W-D-B’ Creatures and becoming them is a bad fate, their minds change after being turning into one. This could be what is happening here.

If Poppy has been sealed in the cabinet since before the events of Chapter 1, as Poppy herself states at the end of Chapter 2, then who was it that sent the protagonist the letter to investigate the factory? Everyone says the letter has childlike qualities about it, but if Poopy was sealed, who else could have sent the letter?

Maybe it was experiment 1006, its clearly stated that he’s HIGHLY intelligent, and in the letter there was lots of grammar errors, maybe it was him who wrote it to lure the protagonist into the factory for another chance at escaping and attempted to use the human language to do that!

My guess would be maybe Prototype did something to Poppy. It’s like this: what if Poppy wrote the letter and mailed it, BUT the timeframe from when she sent it, to when she meets the MC, she got attacked by Prototype, and Prototype somehow altered her personality/memory so she’s kind and sweet in chapter 1, with no recollection of the writing and such . And in chapter 2, remember we freed her from the web itself. What if Prototype did something already to Poppy but then went away when MC was reaching the web from afar, hence why Poppy went a full 180 from sweet to cold and cruel on us ?

Chapter 2 definitely debunks the theory that Stella is Poppy. Huggy was made after Poppy, and Huggy’s experiment number is less than Mommy’s, and Stella addresses Mommy in the game station recordings.

The prototype has a human bone in his arm. In the black tape it says that the first surveillance specialists was locked in the room with prototype and that’s where I’m thinking he got the bone. It’s dark but I think that’s where it came from

So far, at least there's no indication of an AI trying to steal the player's identity, big plause for that. But this is so much scarier than the others, and so little for the lore that revealed, giving out more questions than before. Experiment 1006, the Prototype, i think it won't reveal/ reveal more portion of the real body in the next chapter, given the different paths from chapter 1, there should be at least 2 more paths before the endgame reaches Still, can't wait what chapter 3 install for us

I honestly think Elliot can't be the Prototype. He seems to be too kind to do the things that the Prototype has done. It's also why I subscribe to the idea that Stella is Kissy Missy, since she seems to be kind and loving from the very first tape. Maybe her conscience kept bothering her about experimenting on the orphans, and she had to be disposed of. Instead, I'll guess that the slide with the destroyed name is the identity of the prototype. It would make sense that upon coming across his name on the slide, the prototype would destroy it in anger at what he has become.

The claw actually shows up in chapter 1 in the video tape of 1006 it show the claw in the screen so I think they added the claw in chapter 2 only because we thought 1006 is huggy wuggy....

so the pre existing death messages as each chapter releases will beextended by one phrase per new chapter, that's what I'm predicting. For example: chapter 3 all pre-existing death messages will have 3 phrases in chapter 4, 4 phrases chapter 5: 5 phrases chapter 6: 6 Phrases chapter 7: 7 Phrases chapter 8: 8 phrases and so on and so forth...

So, I would love to see the Prototype be the final boss with a Stinkor-esque hybridization of fallen toys so badly.

I really wonder if 1006 knew the player was standing right there when Mommy Long Legs was killed and whether that made a difference. What does it imply if he did and what does it imply if he didn't?

If he does, then that means he isn’t interested in killing you yet - perhaps as part of a greater scheme or perhaps just because he recognizes that you are on a path to killing the other toys and he benefits from that. If he didn’t, then he was probably trying to kill you when he made the train go crazy - and will go to further lengths to finish the job in later chapters.

Yeah, now I have a strong feeling that "he" is Eliot Ludwig himself. The prototype is incredibly smart, it probably has a brain of some sort transferred in there, like the other organs that would probably be the result of blood inside the toys. I don't understand why it killed the smaller toys (if it actually did) and not Huggy and poppy and mommy long legs. I also don't understand why he made himself a toy as well (if he actually did), maybe he took it as far as to experiment on himself? Maybe he had nobody who agreed with him on the project he was making so he used himself? The text when the player dies also states that "He saved us" or something. I don't believe it's Huggy. Huggy was made long after 1006. I was also wondering WHY mommy long leg knew that she would become part of "him" and how she knew it was a "he" in the first place. Considering she was a worker turned into a toy, she probably knew Eliot and his plans, no idea though. I also don't believe that the player is the prototype, I stand against that theory.

The reason is that 1006 Is too weak for combat, that's why he is collecting smaller toys to make himself stronger, thats why he waited until mommy got killed so he wouldn't have to fight with her.

@@Oddballing it's also said he is an opportunistic killer, when he breached containment in the black tape on the cat walk it was mentioned he waited until one of the employees entered his room to attack, he was hiding in the cameras blind spot and pounced at her, playtime CO. probably has armed guards to neutralize threats like experiments going rouge.

Poppy isnt evil because at the ending before she cuts out she returnes to to normal and her voice is diffrent because the prototype can control other expermients

Did anyone else notice that at the end when mommy long legs is getting sucked into the machine you can hear her say “YOU MAKE ME PART IF HIMM” a couple seconds before the prototype grabs her torso

I really have a gut feeling that exp. 1006 is a mission of Elliot to become immortal what I'm saying is The Prototype might be Elliot. (just a gut feeling...)

My theory: the prototype is just an arm, the scientists managed to destory the rest of his body but his arm was enough to shutdown the whole factory, the reason the prototype(experiment 1006) took mommy long legs and all the other toys body parts is because the prototype wants to rebuild his body so that he could cause more destruction and get himself out of the factory.

My theory is that when they did a lockdown, everyone got killed by the prototype

I have a theory What if Eliot Ludwig was the prototype it would make sense at the fact that he might have lost his head so much that he could have turned himself into and unfinished toy. With that thought let’s look at some of the things that are said after death. Some could be the people he has killed and are in him so they make him sound trustworthy, while others fear him and are trying to warn you. Though when I died I had one that said, “I still need you, get up” which makes me think it’s the prototype saying that he needs us to help him. Think about how we aren’t dead-dead yet. He may want to reserve his energy and not get damaged by the other experiments. Which would makes sense as to why he might send a letter to the character knowing that we were once a worker, to go their with the knowledge to “save” the other coworkers. When we get their we end up killing Huggy Wuggy and Mommy Long Legs. Which as we can see from Mommy’s death that she was used for part of him. Now let’s go back to the death thing, when we die we always come back and the only people who know about the death is the player and the prototype. Which comes to my next thought what if sense in this case Eliot Ludwig is the prototype, maybe sense he knew how to bring things back to life, he brought the character back to life in his body, and just like that the character and everything else forgets that we die. That is my theory

I finally know what the metal hand is it's actually a mechanical arm and it has rollers at the end of the arm so that means it actually rolls itself grabs Mommy Long legs itself then just disappears into the abyss

I think 1006 is the evolved form of Elliot Ludwig himself. He designed the toys and probably came across the assimilation process. I think doing so warped his mind and he himself became 1006.

Plot twist: that arm belongs to huggy wuggy who fell in chapter 1

We've possibly got a description of the prototype. The worker who saw the monster with "a thousand legs" mentions it, and it was INTELLIGENT in luring the worker over with a broom. I think that he even was letting the worker (Acted by Jackscepticguy) getaway in order to tease the higher-ups on the fact that he's not in containment anymore.

I think the prototype is the worker we hear on the tapes complaining about his job. I think that would make better sense because he never liked kids nor the people he worked for. He is constantly complaining about what his abusive workforce has put him through and was maybe used to create 1006 considering he appears to constantly be disregarded. The hatred 1006 has for staff might be in relation into to the worker hate for staff when he wasn’t a toy.

When I first saw the claw, I thought it looked like daddy long legs for a second, since of palm of the hand had the glare shine on it, making it have two eyes for a second. Also, I think that what it means by the prototype saving them, is that, the prototype actually doesn't kill the tiny toys, but actually kills the bigger toys since they tend to feed of the tiny, defenseless, toys, and just like mommy long legs, he is going to use the bigger toys and the broken toys we see along the chapters for him and his body he is creating. This was my theory.

Theory: the 1006 is actually huggy Wuggy, because you can hear huggy Wuggy screaming voice in the background while the scientist is speaking.but the scientists were actually creating another secret prototype wich is not finished yet, but that prototype is alive and its trying to fix its own body with the parts huggy Wuggy and mommy long legs.

in the rejected toys area, there's a blueprint for a mommy long legs old concept that is torn. saying that the concepts were too complicated and creepy. somewhere else on a floor, i found one that showed the full v2 concept of mommy long legs and v1 had been almost torn off, but from what it shows i'm pretty sure it has a ton of limbs

Poppy is the daughter “the poppy flower” and bringing it to life! Recall the girl in ho called herself poppy and just stares at you in the video. Poppy in the box at the end of the chapter. Be corline with the hands in even the buttons. I think the prototype was the failed expiment for Poppy. They were all tests to see if they could put her in any of the toys. They used orphans that no one cared about for huggy, kissy, Bunzo etc. and Mommy says she was the closest thing they had to a mother. The paper says who she was. She was the one who cared and it outraged her. The animals was what became pj. The highest number is 1006. It went out of control. So next they used the poppy doll and jump right to the dead daughter to prevent any more expiraments getting out of control but when the prototype escaped they all left. Well most. The ones who didn’t was the ones we went looking for and play care is where they kept the kids the games were tests and after they became toys they were rejected or put to work such as Bunzo or the Huggies. Which is why we have a rejected toy section. But the ones they sell weren’t alive and they sold them to get more supplies to do more experiments. But as it closes they are all gone. Poppy says herself that because of her many people died. The workers the exponents. They’re all dead

I can imagine him grabbing a bunch of poppy playtime monsters and attaching them to him tho that those get me to ask how mommy, huggy, and kissy manage to avoid the creature (excluding the part where we kill mommy) and it gets me to wonder the creatures biomass right now if he's just a crawling arm or if it actually has a body

I don't believe Stella is Poppy. Poppy was made in the 50s or 60s(please correct), while Stella was around looking through the test results of the adopted kids with MLL supervising the children, and MLL was a toy from the 80s.

I feel like the prototype is actually a prototype of the beatbot or groovebot what ever it's called because it was able to deconstruct a clock and make a laser pointer out of it to disable the camera something would have to be very intelligent to do that. Which btw robots are intelligent enough to do that.

I think chapter 2 was based off Coraline because(spoilers, sorry) the other mother wanted to keep Coraline in her world forever. Similar to how mommy wanted us to stay with her forever In the factory right? Another reason I think this is because in Coraline, the other mother made 3 wonders just for Coraline, and later on In the movie, Coraline meets 3 ghost children, and Coraline has to find there eyes so they can be free. Then Coraline finds out that the other mother had a thing for games, like mommy. After making a deal, the other mother said this riddle. “In each of three wonders I made just for you, a ghost eye is hidden in plain sight.” In our case, our ghost eyes are the codes for the train, and the three wonders are the three games that mommy made us play. You might be wondering, “what about the end of the game with mommy long legs chase scene?” Well, at the towards the end of the game you will find that mommy is angry that we cheated in the last game, just as the mother was when Coraline tricked her. And mommy’s whole plan was to make sure we died in the last game. In the movie, before Coraline escapes, one of the ghost eyes tell her ,”Be clever miss even if you win she’ll never let you go.” Then the other mother is angry with Coraline and says ,”YOU HORRIBLE CHEATING GIRL!!” Then we see her darkside, just like we see mommy’s dark side in the chase scene. Then the ends are both different as mommy dies but we don’t know what happens to the other mother. Again I, sorry if I spoiled the movie for you.

Here’s a mini theory: the prototype is trying to escape, because if Elliot ludwig is the prototype then he would want to escape the facility to try to find more toys to make come too life, but hey, that’s just a theory, a game theory, aaaaaaaand cut

I have a theory. So in the tape in Eliot’s office before it ends it mentions a year but it doesn’t finish it. What if I that year he made the prototype but not only the prototype he also made this devise that connects his head into the prototype and allows him to control it. But he doesn’t always control it. He has to be in the machine to do it. Because why would the prototype try to escape? The prototype was not being controlled then. But in one of the death messages it says “the prototype has saved us! Isn’t he wonderful?” Meaning that Eliot was controlling the prototype at that time. And that is my theory. Also the prototype is wires indicating he is or was connected to some big machine

my theory is it is Elliott which before his death gave permission for hos body to be used in the experiments. hence the human bones on the claw

Here’s some theories I have: The hand IS experiment 1006 (maybe it was the rat experiment) and is something larger than seen. The toys lost some of they body part where 1006 took them to put them all together: Huggy Wuggy: he fell and then 1006 retrieved his body Mommy Long Legs: 1006 took her body (as seen) And much more. This might result in a boss battle which would be the final chapter. Edit: also, when Mommy said "YOULL AMKE ME PART OF HIM", it proves even more that 1006 is collecting parts of toys.

You know how there's a vent with huggy's blood and fur leading to it? Well I don't think that was huggy dragging himself to safety. I think huggy died and 1006 dragged his body away like with mommy.

Yes! Possibly to use Huggies parts to build himself like the way he dragged mommy away after she said “you’ll make me part of him” and died

I think 1006 will based on assembly toys like Lego or Bionicle and he keeps killing and adding pieces from other toys and people to himself as some kind of big messed up freaky Lego creation that's out of control. I think that bone you see in his arm came from the person he trapped in his containment cell, I don't think he was created with that bone in mind. I think at some point you'll see a picture of what 1006 was meant to look like, and he'll just be some simple looking Lego man and then you'll see what he has become from all that he has added to himself and he'll be some amalgamation abomination that is unrecognizable from whatever pictures you saw of him leading up to his reveal.

Also this is a stretch but if you flip 6 into a 9 and swap the second 0 with the 9, you get 1090, which kinda looks like Lego... if you don't think about how one 0 is e and the other is o... yeah okay it's a big stretch, but I am convinced that 1006 will be based on Lego.

Plus what mommy says before being grind she said "what have u done you'll now make me part of "HIM"

I have a theory that 1006 is Rich (the guy on the tapes that was complaining about the boxes being moved in chapter one and how he was demoed to rejected toys in chapter 2) he keeps popping up and we tell by what he say on the tapes that he didn’t like the company very well. And 1006 have a very strong hatred towards the company and everyone in it.

What if the prototype is Elliot Ludwig. What if the experiments killed him and turned him into a toy, but then he got revenge and uses parts from the other toys. Idk I think it’s a bad theory but whatever

In Ludwig's office there is another blue print of a butterfly toy

I think stella is mommy, and Elliot's deceased daughter is Poppy, that they had found a way to put her spirit in poppy

We have seen "the prototype" at poppy playtime chapt.1. In the early game, after we open the door with a key (from huggy) you can see "the prototype" mark on the wall (big hand scratch)

Ok so I've seen many theory videos all saying poppy is Stella but what if poppy is Elliot Ludwig's daughter who died and he was killing orphans putting them into toys to see if he could bring his daughter back and make her a doll because she loved dolls so much and she wants to stop her father from killing other orphans. Elliot Ludwig could've been trying to "help" other parents who have lost their children because he could bring them back as toys.

Did y'all not notice at the start of chapter 2 there is a climbs of a soft play area (playcare) Also I would say for chapter 3 to be at least 2hrs and 15mins at least. I would say like characters in chapter 3 should be... 1.bron 2.candy cat 3.(new characters) ect I can't wait any longer for chapter 3 fr.

This is just a theory but I bet in each chapter, were facing some kind of boss. The final chapter of poppy playtime with have the prototype reveal itself. With the parts of the different bosses in the previous chapters. This can include Mommy's head and some part of Huggy Wuggy potentially. The prototype will be the final boss

K, so, what if, IF, the prototype is Elliot Ludwig and this is him after he got, like, killed or attacked by a monster in the factory, and Poppy (the daughter) managed to heal him partially by making him, like, half cyborg, but to keep him alive, he “runs” on dead toys*, like, more specifically on the bones or whatever *(or experiments) and in chapter 3, the monster is this half human monster made partially out of dead toys. INCLUDING mommy long legs And Huggy Wuggy, OOF. (Also, I agree that Stella is Kissy Missy)

this comment isn't relevant but... The prototype didn't make horrible scratching the floor while taking ML Legs either they know about the horrible sounds or that their claws look sharp, but are more round at the bottom

I think when in chapter 1 huggy fell the prototype drag him to the vent and prototype is very weak so he is taking dead boy of creatures to rebuild.himself I think

What if the date that “It started” was the last 2 numbers of 1006 and if that’s the case then this would be present at “1906”. Maybe he used the parts of his deceased family member to make 1006, the same way he was made is the same thing as what he does. that would then explain why mommy screams “YOU WILL MAKE ME PART OF HIM” or maybe used his dead counterpart’s soul to make the prototype. The bones on the arm are human. (Or I could just be stupid and I’m over speculating to much off something that has little to no information about and you’re right about this theory)

Everyone was expecting Kissy missy to be the enemy in chapter 2 but she wasn’t however she was in chapter 2 but there were blueprints on Elliot Ludewig is desk and I think that the prototype will be in chapter 3 but the monster on the blueprints will be the main enemy but that’s just my opinion I don’t really know

Why is everyone missing the elephants in the room? Chapter 1 people started the assumption that Poppy was the bad guy when she is freed seemingly controlling a power outage in the process. She obviously doesn't kill you when she has you off guard in the dark. Once again in Chapter 2 1006 only goes after Mommy's body when it is known to kill employees but, spares you. Why? I conclude Poppy and 1006 are on your side. They both had you off guard and over powered but, exhibit mercy. Why is no one mentioning this? They have no need to deceive you to then kill you when Huggy and Mommy were trying to kill you. Why are they so different yet, Kissy, Poppy and 1006 spare and even help you? It's clear the employees are bad to experiment on children. That is the name of the game. It even says in lab notes that Huggy is loyal to them but, he is clearly hostile to you. These are blaring clues. The player is in the middle of a war and Poppy recruits you at the end of Chapter 2.

Why does huggy help you at first then??? I have a theory that Huggy is unlike the others and is just a playful security system like the beginning tape implies. He gave you the key because you're an employee. He watches you and then attacks because you're doing things you were never authorized for. Only other theory I've heard is that he just got hungry. Huggy is the only character where it's hard to even speculate.

I like this theory. But I don’t think 1006 is completely on our side, but he could for a bit till maybe the player ticks him off in a way that could set off a chase scene

The actual villain was poppy. It most might sound wrong but poppy actually used mommy to kill us and kidnap herself just for fooling us... That is why shed did not let us escape

I really think that the prototype is actually complete,like ennard from FNAF sister location or blob for FNAF security breach I also do think he is actually a being who was a break and rebuild toy like mangle from FNAF 2
