Miraidon Volt Switch: Lame, blocked by ground types and protect, too fast to get mons in safely. Cosmoem Teleport Pivot: Cool, can’t be blocked, slow af so much safer.

Nah, it's second to Cosmog. You can sack Cosmog to get the pivot where Cosmoem always tanks a hit thanks to Sturdy.

Tried it once but it was just not as good as i was hoping. The problem is you really need tailwind to hit as the same time as Typhlosion but then you can't get the sun up same turn. A bit unwieldy. Torkoal's biggest advantage, and Kyogre on the water side, are they set their own weather

Generally speaking physical attackers aren't allowed to have it all, unlike Groudon though Korai has access to way more high power moves like flare blitz while Groudon has to rely on heat crash.

I think the adaptation that pushes Zamazenta over the top is Snarl. Zamazenta doesn’t have the best MU into special attackers, but Snarl may just completely ruin anything not running Covert Cloak and anything with may just crumble if Incineroar gets a knock off, who already does quite well into a lot of special attackers, especially with AV.

I have been extensively testing Zamazenta. It suffers from 4 move slots. People overestimate the body press damage and iron defense feels nessecary(even resisted a +3 body press can nearly ohko). Heavy slam or behemoth bash is nessecary for flutter mane. Heavy slam being able to ohko standard bulky fluttermane. You could forego protect but you are gonna want it for bad matchups. Snarl would work but it is a balance of what tools you can live without. With the team I am working on(zamazenta, wellspring ogerpon, rillaboom, pelipper, clefairy, raging bolt) I would want to drop heavy slam for snarl which I can't do cause I lose my ability to ohko fluttermane consistently. Honestly in order to make it work I'd drop iron defense and rely on coaching but that is less consistent than just using iron defense. I have been using snarl av raging bolt to get around it.

Ho-Oh won't win worlds, but as a sleeper-pick, will get a top cut to everyone's surprise

Probably and most likely hyper offensive, cant say for sure, maybe a surprise but most likely Cshadow, Miraidon or even terapagos, Sp attackers are in a great spot

I was messing around with Skeledirge the other day and came to the conclusion that Incineroar is just better in every way

Agree, ice rider is by far the most consistent restricted but i also thing that lunala with tera + shadow shield + support has the potential to be inmortal

I think Lunala is a good pick, because you need answers into it or it can just run over your team, and Worlds often has less overall players than a lot of regionals, so there will probably be less players that just have an answer to it.

@@invisible9445 It’s a combination between having flexible sets and flexible Tera. Calm mind leftovers and power herb meteor beam by itself would be manageable enough, but the problem is Tera fairy, grass, and water all have wildly different counters, and if you don’t know how to deal with the one you run into, good luck, because it’s never dying. It’s the same reason Calyrex Ice is so good. There’s so many good Tera’s for it.

I made my bet before Wolfe won that tournament with Caly-SR and Clef that Zamazenta was going to win worlds. And nobody else is using the secret core that allows Zamazenta to completely solve its Calyrex (both forms) Match Up... yet.

but what if zamazenta-hero is the hero we need? joking aside while i don't expect it to win anything i'm experimenting with it and i'm actually pretty impressed, you outspeed base 135 and gain an item slot which is great, lose your steel defensive typing which is pretty neutral, then the tradeoff is you lose a lot of bulk as well as your stab behemoth bash. the only thing about hero form is you kinda need a lot of team support like coaching to make up for the mid stats, i've been trying ribombee as a tailwind user with fake out immunity and aromatic mist (move which buffs partner special defense) and it works nicely. im tera ghost tera blast to cook caly-s and ignore fake out

Koraidon got shafted so hard with its typing and no boost to STAB from its ability. Having 5 weaknesses compared to Miraidon’s 3 just makes it inherently worse

Now feels like a good time to point out ceruledge has ally switch, will o wisp, and shadow sneak to get around its speed stat

Just my opinion, but I’ve always loved the Pokémon‘s zacion and nothing can change my mind about him winning world

I am a zamazenta believer. I am trying to crack the team but haven't gotten there yet. I really like wellspring ogerpon, rillaboom, and pelliper with it but it takes a lot of the team slots and I am struggling to find spreads I like. I am experimenting with clefairy after I found screens grimmsnarl to be too much of a crutch and although I really like raging bolt for the 6th slot it doesn't synergise with the team as it stands but is just really good on its own. I'd like to work a coaching supporter onto the team and have a hard counter to shadow calyrex in order to round out the team. I could find a different central core but rillaboom, waterpon and pelipper feel too good together which makes it hard to let go and zamazenta likes having them around. On paper the team looks good but in practice(LA regionals) it struggled. I do think I have something there though.

Koraidon OR Miraidon. Koraidon with the right team is devastating. I still believe the right team hasn't been found yet.
