    You know,I've seen lots of videos w lots of cool products. And spent enough $ to get what I like. Didn't go super crazy either. Now watching your videos is very educational, especially to my wallet. You make ToNS of sense when it comes to buying only what you need and products that are multi-use. I've learned more from your videos. Thank you !

    The simplest description i ever hear. I'm thinking of polishing my vehicle bring out the new car sheen and was unsure of how to approach it. I was thinking using a compound with the 2nd pad

    You're so right. I tend to overthink the process sometimes and end up taking longer or making more work for myself. I've been detailing for 20 yrs but having ADHD and heavy anxiety always makes me doubt my work till I get to the next step and see that my work was actually right.

    Meguiars Ultimate Compound, Meguiars Ultimate Polish, and Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax all the way! It’s also good for beginners as well since these are safe on clear coat. If you use the pro chemical you gotta be careful as you can mess your paint up

    Second Maguires ultimate compound. Have also used their carnauba wax after the ultimate compund which works a treat. If im very limited on time, I use an Australian brand (bowdens own) spray wax. But that is for my lighter package. Ceramic coatings are done in my more premium package.

    I dont know, man. Pan the organizer said that you dont just stick to one brand and anyone that does doesn't know what they're talking about. He mentioned in one of his recent vids to various brand compounds because sometimes your favorite brand compound might not be able to cut the hard clear coat and a more aggresive compou d might be necessary that isnt available from your favorite brand.

  • @ohboy2592

    I’ve polished over 70 cars in my years of owning cars. I’ve only ever needed to use a compound once and that was on single stage paint. 99% of the time you will need to use various pads and polish only. You’ll never get perfect show quality paint on a DD so don’t think down your clear coat with heavy compounds.

    What microfiber rags/ towels do you recommend to buff off compound and polishes that don’t really swirl the paint up again my microfibers keep putting swirls back into the paint when wiping the polish/ compound off bud could be becuase they are used/ like a year old but I would like to get a higher quality rag/ towel

  • @naimrivera7200

    @naimrivera7200

    Жыл бұрын

    I’d stick to a really high GSM microfiber preferably edge less make sure to use soaps specifically made for microfibers like rags to riches by p&s wash buffing towels separately and do try not to use old microfibers also you can use some clay lube or quick detailer to help remove that compound left on the paint for some lubrication
