I bought it on praise only, can't wait to taste it on New year's Eve. It normally goes for about 22 EUR in our contry, bought it for 18, was on sale, so if the taste is as good as everyone says, I'll be impressed.

Way too sweet, after 1 or 2 drinks you just taste sugar and not the flavor of the whiskey.

I'm trying it for my daily sipper and I find it too sweet as well. Rare breed, on the other hand, makes me tumescent.

$22 in Northern Indiana today. Quite a deal.

I’ve tried much more expensive bourbons, bought a few. But WT101 just agrees with me. I find it more palatable, better tasting and just more enjoyable than almost every other bourbon I’ve tried in the under $50 category. Such a great value.

WT 101 is my absolute favorite, go-to, everyday sipper. It never disappoints and really delivers on flavor. If I only had one choice for a bourbon to keep o my bar, WT 101 is the bird! Great review, Jason. Thanks.

If I had to pick just one for the rest of my life it’d be this one, and it’s not even close. I’ve drank more Wild Turkey 101 than I have all other spirits of any variety combined.

I just got my first 101 have never pulled the trigger before but I’m a huge fan now. I’ve had a couple bottles of rare breed but from now on for the price and goodness? It’s 101. Unbeatable. The new bottle label and design is also great.

Just bought a bottle of Wild Turkey 101 here in Mexico. Costs about 385 pesos which is about $18 per bottle! Not bad at all. Love Wild Turkey, it's so good!

I found this bourbon in college when I was less experienced in the whiskey world. there was something that stuck with this bourbon and its my go-to years later, hits the nail on everything u want in a bourbon.

Love everything WT, and to think I used to snub my nose at them at a point in my life. I would nominate Old Tub as a great affordable whiskey as well.

Don’t get many bourbon choices where I am in Germany but the 101 and four roses single barrel are readily available and I like both of these, especially for the price. Great review Jason

I agree on the sweetness. That is the first thing I noted. 101 is at the top of my list right now! Excellent product at an exceptional price!

Just tried this on the rocks for X-mas and I was pleasantly surprised. Only ever had it mixed before. There's a real nice sweetness that comes through and then dissipates and it's not harsh at all.

I'm a bourbon person and I've honestly tried to enjoy it for the longest time; to me it has an oily, turpentine characteristic to it. While back I got a bottle of it, poured a glass and got distracted for almost an hour. Came back to it after it DECANTERED holy shit it was good! I now keep it 8n a decanter and it's a game changer for me!

I've recently revisited the Wild Turkey 101. New look (awesome bottle), great taste, mild lingering finish (medium)...I could go on and on just to repeat everything you mentioned but I won't. It's hard to believe I used to do shots of this back in the day just for a quick buzz and attention at the bar...Shots! Shots! Shots!

Best review you've ever done. I jump with ya on W.T. 101...101%. Excellent juice at a fair price. Every-man's drink & no apologies for that. Doesn't have to be allocated, expensive or hard to find to be good.

Tried a dusty Wild Turkey 101 for 1981, it was one of the better pours I ever had, I liked it better than the pour of an old bottle ECBP at 132 proof.. that dusty turkey was something special!!

Love that you doing these type of videos, being based in Australia we are usually limited by the brands of US whiskey offerings, so generally the more readily available a brand is available in the US that’s what we also get locally (with the exception of Blantons, which is easy to get here). We often so busy chasing difficult to get offerings, that we forget about the great offering sitting right in front of us. Cheers 🥃

My wife used to fix her mixed drinks for her and the ladies with Crown Royal. I had her mix with the Wild Turkey 101 one day and that was the last time Crown was used. Her and the ladies love the taste and the extra punch from the 101.

I really like your focus on the "on the shelf" aspect of these bourbons. By the way, I am now drinking this one regularly. It's my favorite affordable bourbon. Your videos are well done.

I have a lot of different comments on this, so I will separate out. But first, awesome review! And what I love about this review is that no matter how many positive reviews, WT101 will always be on the shelf while everybody else loads up on BT, EHT, and whatever Weller product is available until the shelves are empty. This summer, I vacationed in Hawaii, a bourbon wasteland... but I found a bottle of WT101 and killed it. I never felt deprived. When you know, you know.

This and Rare Breed were absolute revelations for bourbon. They are simply fantastic value and absolutely delicious.

I had to get up and pour a WT101 for this video. My wife made fun of me but it was well worth it. Love this stuff. It is the bottle I compare my higher $ purchases to. Thanks for the vids. Love ‘em.

Tried so many including single barrels and upmarket brands like Knob Creek, just keep coming back to this fabulous brand. Smooth, affordable, easy drinking. Nothing else comes close on my opinion!!!🤗

WT 101 is my go to every day sipper. Loyal, reliable, high octane, etc. It’s the best bang for the buck. 🥃

Scotch and Irish drinker here. Having had plenty of bourbon, this is what hits the mark. Full flavoured, great mouth feel, plenty of punch and surprisingly complex. Always have a bottle to hand....and you should too.

Solid analysis. I noticed the new bottle last month and decided that since I hadn’t had WT101 in a while, I should try it again. The price was an added prompting to grab a bottle. It is “smoother” than I remembered it to be and the flavor was something different than what I’ve been having lately. It’s almost gone now; glad I grabbed a bottle. I’ll probably have to grab another soon.

I just have the 101 all the time, always my go to, and welcomed beauty to any and maybe every flight in the last decade!! Love it. This is a classic profile of a classic bourbon, never to be missed!!🥃🥃🥃❤️

Great vid J! Just bought two bottles of the new look WT101. I have to say thank God for Wild Turkey in general. Great juice without the markup although Masters Keep hard to find. I also like OGD 114 as an alternative to this as well.
