I kind of like the Forever suits. The Sonar suit is my favorite of the two for how underrated it is (much like the entirety of Forever). As for the Batman & Robin suits, I remember seeing someone use a Clooney PFP sort of act like a troll on Twitter before he deactivated the account

The majority of the screen time suits were called Panther suits. I think the reason they went with the sonar suit for Kilmer and the panther suit for Clooney is because both panther suits are almost the same. They only made minor changes to Clooney’s panther. So it wouldn’t make sense to release two figures that looked almost identical. But they could’ve also gone the other way around, Kilmer’s panther and Clooney’s ice suit(which is a sonar suit with the silver ice pieces glued on).

Makes a lot more sense and yeah because I did think the Clooney one looks similar to kilmers “regular” Batman suit minus the yellow in the emblem but if it is how you say it is I’m glad they went with what they went they did a good job and the sonar suit looks better than the ice suit imo

i am SO glad they did Clooney (especially the standalone (annoyingly in a BAF Wave but still) version, it´s so nice to have a high quality figure my childhood Batman)

All the Batman capes in the first four films were latex capes. They all had the same “leather” texture. Some were 8 panels(scallops) some were 10

They probably went with the sonar suit because the other would have look to similar to the Keaton and Clooney suits. The Sonar suit never had nipples.

I have the Batman forever sonar suit. After watching these review. I noticed mine has that odd knee joint on the right leg. It does kinda goes to the side more then the left legs knee joint. I do like how it looks gives off the same vibes the suit gave in the movie. I hope they give us the panther suit Val Killmer wore in the movie before the cave and other suits was destroyed. I have the first Val Killmer Batman that DC released awhile back. Once I compared the two I have to give it to McFarland photo looks more like his figure then the first does. Way to skinny and head looks wonky. It works with my Batman collection I have.

The only figure I had problem with is the bale batman his right arm can move out

Schumacher named the regular movie Kilmer suit you mention as the "Panther Suit" because it made him look cat-like like a panther. The name stuck. And I agree, I have the older DC Direct figure of that suit, but would LOVE to see McFarlane do that one also. There are plenty of movie suits that can still do. If he can do the wild figures he does, he can release the movie suits.... and I love your opening, I had to think for a minute what you had written there, but once it hit me, I laughed hard! Good job!

Technically it was a Mattel, DC Multiverse Signature Collection Figure. I always think DC Direct when I think of it due to that DC tag. But, it may not be in the official DC Direct line.@@dobi287

I have DC direct panther suit also. The Clooney suit is the same one just a slight change to the belt and none colored bat symbol on the chest and the cape is not hooked the same as the forever suit was. I have seen a few none sonar suit Kilmer's Batman forever head sculptures for sell. that will fit the McFarland figures. I thought of getting one and the Clooney figure and replacing the heads . Making a panther suit Killmer Batman. For my collection.

I really want them to make the Batman Forever black suit, the one he wore through out most of the movie.

For the record, the Forever sonar suit did NOT have nipples on it. The black suit that he wears through a majority of the movie did have nipples, though.

You can always pick up the Mattel Multiverse Kilmer version with the normal suit, though now I'm sure it's pretty marked up. Also, since I already have the Affleck figure with the correct goggles, I swapped the head from this set and put it on The Flash figure to give him a more accurate likeness. Colors don't match perfectly, but it's easy to do and looks better. I keep him on the Batcycle anyway.

Why do you want toe joints to bend any more? Have you bent your foot recently? They don’t bend at more than 90 deg. That being said, the same with torso rotation, people can’t rotate their bodies 360 deg.

The sonar suit doesn't have nipples in the film.

I wasn't able to get this 6-pack but I've definitely noticed with multiple of my mcfarlane figures that's the legs always have issues. Whether it be a leg is longer than the other or there's that weird curve on the lower leg that makes it look off.
