I miss the metal grates. They made me feel the pain of those wrestling. Now they use padding which I know makes the wrestlers safe, but does take out the intensity of the structure

Yea I could feel the burning Feel when the wrestlers landed on the metal grates but now it kinda doesn't feel any special when they land out on the padding

Exactly. Current Wrestling being too soft helps wrestlers but hurts fans. That's why I appreciate all the OGs and can't get into this contemporary era.

Edge is the Ultimate Opportunist for Elimination Chamber because he cashed in on John Cena after the match and he entered himself into the World Heavyweight Championship match after losing the WWE Championship in the chamber earlier in the PPV and won the World Heavyweight Championship

The 2002 Elimination Chamber Match is amazing. One of my favorite World Heavyweight Championship Matches of all time.

Undertaker chokeslamming MVP from the top of one of the chambers will always be my favourite Elimination Chamber moment.

USED TO BE the most brutal match ever. Now is a fisher price house.

at least bring back the old glass pods used In very first chamber and turn the mat into steel floors again then at least it look credible even with new chamber offering more spots the old chamber did have some really great spots to use and see not reason other than triple h incident I can see why they create apace on upper but keep the rest back to og the menacing structure " satan prison" the presence also matters just like characters own theme music and gimmick . I miss the " are you willing to hurt are you willing to play through pain are you willing to shorten your career " was a damn masterpiece that got me hype up for chamber the last opportunity all that. i don't think there were any major incidents inside the camber outside of first chamber so thats why I hope they bring the old chamber back

Back in the ruthless aggression era they uesd to put the elimination chamber everywhere at summer slam at Armageddon ppv and alll but like triple h and booker said in the chamber someone getting cook 🔥💯😭

I'll never forget when Shawn Micheals cost the undertaker his title just so he could face the undertaker at WM 26. That entire storyline from Micheals was excellent.

Elimination Chamber at the second New Years Revolution will always be my favorite, because i knew the entire storyline leading up to it lol

The Chamber like Hell in a Cell got watered down because it became overused. The first chamber and the 3rd one were a last resort type of match where multiple men were gunning for the title in the right situation. A feud ender of sorts but now it just feels like it means a little less like just another ppv. There was a reason why it wasnt tied to a ppv till 2008

You can say same about money in the bank hell in a cell and tlc turning gimmicks into ppvs diluted there importance previously it used to end feuds or settle personal scores when things got heated it made those things exciting and fresh

and now we got these high flyers turning the chamber into a monkey cage.

Rey Mysterio was my favourite wrestler when I was a kid. I remember crying seeing him get beat up in the 2011 chamber 😂😂.

Edge always find ways to make Chamber matches unforgettable. 2006 cashed in on a beaten up John Cena for the WWE championship. Starting his long heated rivalry with Cena for years. 2009 being the first one eliminated by Jeff Hardy meaning he lost his WWE championship and Vicky couldn't do anything to reverse it, so he blind side Kofi Kingston and took him out and snuck in the match to win the World Heavyweight championship. 2011 on his final chamber match he was face and started the match with Rey Mysterio and those two end the match with Edge retaining his World Heavyweight championship. Other chamber matches that live in memory. Shayna dominating the match by eliminating every single competitor by herself. Bray Wyatt winning the WWE championship(RIP). Michaels winning the inauguration Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight championship at Survivor Series 2002. Alexa Bliss retaining her Women's title and delivers her promo after that. John Cena winning the WWE championship at the chamber match in 2010 only to lose the title against a fresh Batista setting up a meeting at WrestleMania 26.

Wish they’d stop lying about what the “glass” is made out of. It’s not bulletproof glass. It’s acrylic/plexiglass which is just plastic.

I understood restructuring the pods in order to give wrestlers more move to land especially after what happened to Triple H in the first chamber match. But covering all the metal just took away that mystique. Which is what made the chamber entertaining to watch. Now it feels less intimidating.

Great work with this vid. EC is one of the few PPVs left where some real carnage can happen.

The original chamber was by far the best. It was imposing and intimidating plus the metal outside the ring was what made it. I think it lost its magic when they started altering it, I understand it for the safety perspective but it’s lost its appeal.
