Panasonic is already good and its on the way to become great , Its only second to sony in lens selection and a teeny bit maybe in autofocus. But panasonic has sony beat in all other areas and is choke full of features that are not even available in Sony's cinema line cameras

Lol the lighting in this video is truly special. Thank you for lighting the inside of your nostrils, we needed that. Also extra points for the large green thing taking up 1/5th of the framing, a blessed gift from the alien overlords :D

Those two clips using the S1 with the sigma and viltrox are very cinematic looking.

I say this because by default I have this problem with everything. I get into it, and I spend my life comparing, tweaking, testing, analysing every facet of it. Thankfully I can tell myself to stop and just enjoy the thing.

Monitor + app with Sony can allow you to use the camera features via Bluetooth (your favorite) could give you telephoto capabilities with focusing/exposure changes.

The Fringer II adapter works great adapting Canon EF to Fuji x. Check out the compatibility list. Mine autofocuses even with a 1.4x teleconverter

How effective is animal eye detect in Sony for video? I’m getting boxes on tails and ears sometimes. Would I regret trading ZVE1 for Sony A7S3?

As a user, animal eye af doesn’t work on the A7S3, human eye af is reliable though.

@11min and past, that 'rich tone portrait' mode looks good!

I like the X-S20 too!

Panasonic tech is awesome. Their business practices and marketing suck so hard.

The canon color on some of the newer less expensive models seems off to me. I have also seen slight differences between some sony cams. I think they are cheapening things somehow, or even doing an infamous cripplehammer.

That green thing is interesting. As a happy X-T3 owner for over four years, when I saw the X-S20 I thought it would be a good next camera. The only thing that holds me back is the lack of WR because I take my camera hiking all the time. The other minor issue is that I'm accustomed to having two card slots. But, I still think I'd like the size and that bigger battery is nice. I stopped the video and searched the price of that Voigtlander 35mm T1.2....whoa!! "...didn't see that coming.." LOL! Have a rockin day!

I thought the same before, but,... It's decent camera for beginners and amateurs. I still have so much learn in "nice weather realm" of photography. Not going to do bad weather photography any time soon. So, it's okay for me to not have WR body (yet).

What mic is that?

If I look at the Bokeh of the two light holes in the background lamp, I like the Bokeh of the Z85 mm more than the Ef 85mm.

x-s20 auto focus is a bit dodgy but I love it. You can get them with the “good” kit lens (18-55) for under $1500. Might even be able to get body only close to $1,000. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.

Sony had too few OEM lenses when they started mirrorless E-mount, so they gave the technical documentation to all third party manufacturers to let them fill the gaps in the lens line up.

Interestingly this is not the first comparison of photographers to some type of worm on this channel. “They aerate the soil” is one of my favourite lines from the show

I got the g9 service manual, and there's a ton of room, so I got two Peltier coolers and the 400w 12v because Ali has the deal thing, being cheap isn't all bad, the neediness of the subject = hurt + broken / random revenge shield × chosen differentials trial victimization. Engineering view, like homework, your too proud to make a submarines base. As long as it's plastic crap, then it's turtle powered. Have them chase you off the set of final genius, unless it's stairwell.

Gh7 is much more reliable, robust and basically without flaws..Im not even joking. So what if there is no autofocus in the 300fps setting. It's utterly irrelevant. Lenses are cheaper, more plentiful,lighter and it has virtually everything that any camera has and more, plus 32 bit float audio with the XLR adapter (absolutely) worth the money. Xh2s is great, but the gh7 is on a whole other level. This clown's opinions literally have no credibility.

Fuji has superior dynamic range. With that being said, If the gh7 has better autofocus than the gh7 is probably the way to go.

Great video! You used to have an eos R. Granted, slo motion is terrible, but with the viltrox ef-r3 you can have full frame 4k. Files are not great, but the colours are, as you know. it depends what you want it for ofcourse. Love this channel 😊

@@cameraconspiracies You dont have to like it but it doesnt make panasonic a bad brand. You are comparing a 2500 dollar camera with a 5000 dollar camera, but its exposure features, ease of use, screen and EVF resolution are way better than A7IV and Sony camera's in general.

A good sounding idea for when you get the Fuji, since you're adapting lenses, is to get the finger adapter for either Canon EF or Nikon F and you're guaranteed to have autofocus. If you don't you can contact them via mail and ask them to add your lens sending a sample photo. Check the supported lenses list. Vintage Pop and Fuji magic? That's all I'm gonna say.

You'd love Panasonic to send you a GH7 -- you'd embrace it, caress its angles, probe its menus, explore its autofocus, place it on a park bench to admire it from afar, sleep next to it and, well, just love it "long time". Admit it.

I find it hilarious that you roasted Panasonic over the years primarily around the autofocus. Rightfully so one could say. Now to watch you experiment with Nikon and have focussing issues 10x as bad as Panny is an interesting direction.

@@wmpx34 while it is true they were overly stubborn and years late to phase detect, I think a lot of lessons were learned as they got as close to “as good as one can get” with contrast detection. To be honest though real users in the field rarely use autofocus (well KZreadrs do). All of my best outputs are manual focus. Having said that the new phase detect is quite awesome and specially for wildlife

IF NO FLIPPY SCREEN WHY NOT USE EXTERNAL MONITOR📺? Could Place it anywhere needed for Good Framing etc. or are You just in love with Small Fiippy’s 👁️ When Using Canon XL2 Camcorder had Small External Flat Screen and SONY Box Body Monitor for Accurate Color, Focus, Framing etc Wasnt Grab and Go but So much better Viewing👁️ for whatever was Shooting.

What better "quality" does the old 35mm xf have over a new 33mm? lense motor accuracy or speed, distortion, ca, la, casing materials and assembly, better wiring, better sharpness across the frame, better colour rendition or flare resistance coating, weather resistance, t stop, fstop, reliability, are the lense elements produced better now to a higher standard of polishing? your talking nonsense that i cant understand. assuming by character you mean flaws such as softness, flare, distortion and also dated physical aesthetics of the lense itself. you complain about af accuracy on cameras a lot but you use old lenses and adapters , its a self perpetuating issue your causing for the sake of " character".

What Keeps Me From Buying Panasonic and Fuji you ask? because i shoot Nikon and Leica.

Spends 3k on a lens, complains Canon R5 files are hard to edit for last 3 years. While RTX 2070 used is 200$ and cuts any files like butter. If not, RTX 4080 will for less than 1k USD. 😛😛😛
