I am dedicated hiker over 10 years, some backcountry hiking experience; today I just finished Goat mountain hiking, trail full of snow already, The most important thing I believe is your experience, do the same trail in summer a lot and then try in winter, waterproof gloves and shoes very important, bring enough energy with you, fruits, hot water energy bar etc. I only have a Plan A, always know your limits, luckily, I didn’t call 911 for rescue yet.😊
