Why? because you can't find the Valid way for forgivness of sins to avoid God wrath! as you find it in the Gospel ! in islam you never will know if God love you or not forgive you or not think about you or not ! everytime you are not sure ! living in fear so that he hopefully is glad to not Crush you under his foot!! Now that is Devil. thats why you need Jesus not the idiot Allah ! Anyway let see how genuine or honest are you? and how genuine and logical your believes are ? I believe you claim to base your views on bible .. so do you believe bible is the word of god? so if it is word of god why does it make contradictory statements? do you believe God makes mistakes or inspires mistakes/contradictions? Can you explain which below statement is true? Repentance is necessary. *(Acts 3:19; Luke.3:3.)* Repentance is not necessary. *(Romans.**11:29**.)* Both statements can't be true one of them has to be wrong? Is romans a false book or acts or Luke? Anyway if you don't see any contradiction, let me try another example *You claimed that believe in Jesus leads to salvation ? do you actually know what your contradictory corrupt book talks about salvation ? * Non-believers obtain mercy. *(Romans.**11:32**.)* Only believers obtain mercy. *(John.**3:36**; Romans.**14:23**.)* Only baptized believers obtain *(mercy. Mark.**16:16**.)* Mercy cannot be predetermined. *(Romans.**9:18**.)* Can all above statements be true? or which one will you pick and chose to be true? if you chose what does it make the other statements? What do you think about these statements Jesus approved of destroying enemies. Luke.19:27. Jesus said to love your enemies. Matthew.5:44. Is Jesus delusional? does he suffer from schizophrenia? why is he making conflicting contradictory statements ? or the book which you base your believe on is corrupt as it fails the simple test *Law of non contradiction* which is a minimalist requirement for truth ? Answer me ...there are so many contradiction in bible it's just funny and sad that you associate these thing *(lies)* with god, anyway tell me am I missing something how can you reconcile plethora of contradictions in this book and believe it's true?

Here are some key philosophical insights from the conversation: - Truth can be understood in different ways, such as analytical truths (math), contingent truths (science), and historical truths (unverifiable accounts of the past). However, intuition is the "mother of all truths" as it gives direct experiential knowledge. - Intuition provides innate, self-evident knowledge of fundamental truths like the law of non-contradiction. It is a "religious experience" of truth that underlies all rationality and cannot be logically proven. - Fiqh (intuition) gives knowledge of Allah's existence. It is a god-given faculty and the "natural religion" mentioned in the Quran. The fitrah points to Allah as the only objective truth, while everything else is partly metaphor. - Allah is singular and literal, not an archetype or concept. His existence as the one objective reality is known directly through intuition, not reasoning or science. The latter depend on unprovable assumptions. - Atheists and materialists cannot consistently apply skepticism about reason, consciousness, the external world etc. Their worldview has blind faith in many unfounded presuppositions. - The Quran constantly reminds us to use intuition and reflection, not just the intellect or senses, to arrive at religious truths. This leads to certainty in Allah, not doubt due to science or philosophy. In summary, intuition and reflections on the fitrah provide direct inner knowledge of Allah and religious truths, which underlies all reasoning and science. The Quran points toward developing this intuitive faculty.

Thank you, Paul. Enlightening and thought-provoking. Makes me reexamine the wondrous centrality and gift of our fitra - which becomes the inner eye to know the One Reality, and the Seen/UnSeen world. I was familiar with Al-Ghazali's understandings of Surah An-Nur, and appreciate Firas' insights about these verses. I remember my young 4yr. old son asking me one day. '"When I was a concept in Allah's Mind, what were you doing?' He simply wanted to know what my life was like without him, but you can imagine my astonishment at the wording of his question. I had told him that he had been with Allah before he was sent to me. And he, being a creative child who loved to draw and make things with his hands, innately understood that Allah too had created him from an idea in His Mind. The beauty of the fitra!

GSP was my favorite fighter and through him I get to know about Firas Zahabi. I always admire Firas because he trained GSP to become a world champion, after watching this video I admire him more. What a guy, immaculate knowledge, a great grip on philosophy. Masha Allah. May Allah guide GSP to the right path. Ameen

That gravity example just blew me away. We assign consciousness to abstract concepts. We talk about nature as if it has a memory, as if it has agency. We talk about karma and assign it a role in exacting punishments and rewards…

I am muslim and I was rased on Islam from birth. I always believed in Allah and had and still have complete confidence on him and I am truly thankful for that..my name is "blessed" and I am indeed blessed thank Allah. Now.. I never liked reading books.. I don't know why ! Even I know the importance of a book and reading.. maybe because of Media I was exposed to since early age.. that's an other topic. When I listened to the knowledge of Firas, it made sense to me.. know I understand better what Allah had done for me and for all of us human.. sure I understand it better but not all of course , because only Allah knows it all , he's the most knowing ! .. I always ask Allah to teach me more and more .. to teach me good knowledge , a knowledge that brings me closer to him in order to satisfy him of myself .. and now I am in search of that good knowledge.. and it's clear to me that this video is a response.. and I hope I come acrosse to more videos of good knowledge like this one ..thank Allah .. and thank you sir !

I want Firas to recommend books to read as beginners. And of course I want books that are ready by other philosophers that attempt to dumb down and explain in layman terms the ideas of the historical prominent philosophers. I am not a philosophy major and won’t be able to able to understand it from their own words otherwise I would’ve have went down that road.
