Of all the Mario timelines, yours has impressed me the most because it actually makes the most sense. I especially liked the idea of where the sports/party games happen, and that the New SMB series would happen after galaxy

Yeah for an April Fools Joke it is actually a really good Timeline. The only mistakes are in my opinion Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, because Mario has been kidnapped again by King Boo so Mario‘s Time Machine has to take place after it instead of the same time. The second mistake is probably Super Mario 3D Land because in my opinion it should take place before „Not“-Super Mario Bros. 3 because there the Tanooki Leafs going if from the tree. The Rest is not gonna lie really good

Took me awhile to fully start to understand the extent of the April Fools joke in this, but once I did, I had a great time. Loved hearing all of your wacky headcanons to link certain games together. *Just for fun I thought I'd point out some continuity flaws from the games:* ---New Donk City is on the East Coast & Diamond City is on the West As seen in Super Mario Odyssey, New Donk is on the West Coast, and if Diamond City was on the East, it would be in the Ruined Kingdom, which doesn't make much sense imo. With this idea, I think maybe it would work better on the Southern Coast near Seaside Kingdom? ---The Kremlings lived in Northern Kremisphere before being kicked off onto Crocodile Isle at the end of the Kremean War Crocodile Isle is home of The "Lost World", which is described as the "source" of all the Kremlings. This is likely their birthplace. Furthermore, the Kremlings in the Northern Kremisphere are different than the ones we see in DKC1 and 2. And K Rool teams up with them after losing his home in DKC2. So to me it seems like the crocs in Northern Kremisphere are separate. I think a possible workaround of this would be that Crocodile Isle was falling into chaos. The Kremlings wanted to move to the Northern Kremisphere, but they couldn't all fit and co-exist with the bears. So they initiate the Kremean War against the bears, and ultimately the Kremlings lose. This is why K Rool resorts to taking over DK Island later on in the timeline. Crocodile Isle is getting worse and worse, and he plans to steal the bananas, starve the Kongs, and take over their land to use as a 2nd home, and base of operations for bringing Crocodile Isle back to its former glory. Since the Kremlings no longer have a home after DKC2, DKC3 would have K Rool move to the Northern Kremisphere, kidnap DK & Diddy, and possibly start work on the Mechnical Crocodile Isle. ---The Paper Mario series is a separate universe This is where things get interesting. I know this video is an April Fools joke, so I haven't really been pointing out anything contradictory with what is potentially the _true_ official canon, but Paper Mario is complicated so I thought I'd bring it up. Paper Mario 64 has to happen in the real world, due to a variety of character reappearances (most notably the Star Spirits and Goomboss). But then Paper Jam claims the series happens in the Paper World. So what gives? We know that the classic games have to take place in the Paper World as well, due to Goombella and Parakarry being referenced in Sticker Star, and the Princess Peach portraits in Origami King. The logical explanation for all of this is that the Paper World is nearly identical to the real Mario world, and basically the entire Mario series happens in both the real and paper worlds. We also know that Mario's past real world adventures happen in the Paper world due to numerous references across the series, including references to SMB3, Mario Kart, and more. Paper Jam could potentially come before Sticker Star, as an explanation for why everyone is suddenly self-aware in the modern PM games. ---Paper Jam takes place before Captain Toad Toadette mentions her treasure tracking adventurs in Paper Jam, so it must take place after Captain Toad Treasure Tracker ---The Peace Era For the sake of this video I won't get into it, but there are numerous references to Mario's Karting and Sports outings in the RPG games. And Mario Odyssey references a lot of them with costumes as well, including Dr Mario. The reason Bowser puts his differences with Mario aside in these games is to take a break from evil and just try to beat Mario in competition. Sometimes Bowser even wrecks these without being invited to cause chaos. So in the actual Mario canon, the sports & kart games are canon and happen alongside the normal timeline. ---Mario + Rabbids Mario + Rabbids is most definitely noncanon. It's likely that the world we see in Mario + Rabbids is a pocket dimension in the Rabbids Universe, created by the supamerge combining Super Mario merchandise with the Rabbids washing machine. This is backed up by the idea that Donkey Kong lives in an alternate dimension from the rest of the Mario cast in the game. EDIT: It has been confirmed to not be within a pocket dimension. Instead, the dimension was just altered by the Supamerge. Donkey Kong did indeed get teleported to another dimension, but the Mushroom Kingdom is still the same Mushroom Kingdom. The game is confirmed non-canon, however, and does not have any effect on the greater Mario series at all. Sparks of Hope has done irrevocable damage to the universe, with Lumas being replaced by Sparks. *end of contradictions* I think the biggest question out of all of this is where this video takes place in the timeline. My bet is that it happens during Wario land 3. We can hear Wario's plane flying over you a few times throughout the beginning of the video, and it's likely that we don't hear it throughout the rest of the video because Wario is inside the Music box fighting Rudy the Clown. I think for Hotel Mario 2, they could include K Rool. We don't know where he went following Barrel Blast. Perhaps he and the Kremlings are living in Neo Bowser City, and K Rool is now CEO K. Rool, and he gets scuffed up in the grand finale of the Mario series.

@@Anthony-nr5tj Star Children have basically no relevance outside of Yoshi's Island DS. Cranky has been confirmed on several occasions to be the original Donkey Kong. The modern Donkey Kong is his grandson. Kongs age very quickly, which is why Cranky is so old now. Plus, Mario _does_ fight the modern Donkey Kong in the Mario vs Donkey Kong series. So there's your star children thing

@Anthony-nr5tj Yeah it has to be time shenanigans. Baby DK in Yoshi's Island DS is singlehandedly the biggest oversight and plot hole in any Mario game. The only possible explanation is that Kamek intentionally stole Baby DK from a different time period. Maybe he thought DK was important enough to be one. He says the stars fell during the time period that Mario was a baby, but it's possible that DK's star just sat around for years until he was born and came in contact with it. It was definitely not the intention of the developers, but the game _IS_ a time travel story, so it's the best we've got. Every other game points to Cranky being the original Donkey Kong.

Even though this is an April Fool's joke, I feel like it's actually a fairly cohesive timeline.

Nice april fools joke, only the second most effort I've seen for an april fools day joke(the biggest was someone reading the entire dictionary to predict new names for Pokemon

Unironicly this is an incredibly informative video, best April fool's vid I've seen so far this year! I assume super princess peach takes place in the beginning of Bowser’s late coup? I theory it even happens first (before the evens of mario run)

wow i didn't realise this was an april fools joke, i guess the real april fool was a me, all along. although i do think this timeline is actually really good, I like how Donkey Kong Junior doesn't die in it.

Nope. DK the Third aka Modern DK from today is the Son of DK Jr because in all Country Games Cranky Kong calls him his Grandson and it has been confirmed that Cranky Kong is in Fact DK Sr. (DK the First) (The only exception where he calls him his Son is in DK 64 but that has been confirmed to be a mistake). But yeah there are some thinks in this Timeline that doesn't make any sense XD Like how can be DK the Third be the same Age as Mario but DK Jr. before in the Kremean War DK Jr. was still a child...The only thing that would explain that is MatPats Theory that Jumpman from Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. is Mario's Father and "Lady" is his mother instead of being the Pauline we know today (which could be explained by that she is a blond Girl and looks completely different in her Character Artworks). I know there are some things that debate that but that would at least make much more sense than that. And the Modern Mario Movie doesn't count. It's a complete different Universe where Modern DK is the Son of Cranky Kong instead of his Grandson.

I love the video but my only complaint is that your handwriting was very messy, so it would be hard to remember
