Finally someone who understands that multiverse theory isn't the only way to do time travel and that Sonic hasn't used that theory from its very inception instead of clinging to a theory that has been officially debunked. I seriously want to thank you for this, since the end of the Meta Era and the recommitment to the continuity I was excited to see people discuss the timeline again. Especially thanks to getting set in stone placements and hints for other games. I do want to set the record straight on one thing you got wrong though. Chaos and TIkal did not go to the afterlife, they instead flew back to Angel Island, which is why Chaos appears in Battle (seeing Emeral as great threat to everyone) and both appear in Knuckles prologue animation for Frontiers silently watching the guardian. While not a correction Sonic also straight up kills Erazor by dunking his lamp into lava in Secret Rings after the credits. Out everyone Sonic has faced Erazor must be the one Sonic really despised considering his normal attitude.

The Classic & Dreamcast Eras are the 2 Best Eras to remember. The Dark Era was pretty underrated at the time, but there are games from that Era we enjoyed playing. Which brings us to the Modern Era. Glad it saved its franchise with the likes of Colors, Generations, Mania, & Frontiers.

I have never played the Sonic games, and rarely ever heard about Sonic (because the only video game I ever played as kid is Nintendogs lol) but with the recent live action Sonic movies, I’m becoming more and more of a Sonic fan! So with the third movie coming out, I thought to myself that I should research more about the characters of the Sonic games and their stories. And as I was wanting to know the whole Sonic story, I clicked on your video, and I think you did a great job at explaining the timeline! 😊 Keep up the great work! 🎉

Every time whenever there a new Sonic game have released, it gives me a thought that a new game has been added to the timeline after the game that has been released in the present timeline like the new game, Sonic Dream Team for example, it takes place a month later after the incident of Starfall islands (Sonic Frontiers) according to the writer Ian Flynn. 😀🤔

SPOILER FOR NOT WACTHED THE VIDEO OR PLAYED THE GAMES, I've been thinking for a while, if the events of 06 technically never happened, it's possible that the rush series never happened, as it could be in 06 never happened, Blaze never ended up in the dimension of the Sol Emeralds, unless someone else has a better explanation, & I won't accept the 06 Blaze being a descendant of the one from Rush, that doesn't fit [not with me anyway], plus I heard a rumour that there originally going to be 3 books in the storybook series, but with the negative reviews of the other 2 [partially because of them being hard with the Wii controls] the 3rd was cancelled, also doesn't Unleashed make it seem like the Emeralds were originally from Earth, but from what I can tell, Frontiers makes it seem they come for the original world of the Ancients [in my opinion]

That 06 idea seems like a good idea for a theory video... And yes! The storybook series was originally intended to be a trilogy. As for Unleashed and the emeralds, I imagine a few things... However, an idea I've cooked up that I personally think interesting, is that idea that Dark Gaia is ACTUALLY a manifestation of ''The End'' after corrupting the emeralds in the past events of Frontiers. The past segment of Frontiers is so ancient, that any living scripture or documents that exist of Gaia would believe it's always been on Earth. The same could go for the Emeralds since they would have arrived at the same time.

Did you forget The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog or was it apart of the spin off section along with 3d blast?

Yup! I plan on making an update to this with some things I missed + the new IDW comics (They're canon now) and SXS when it comes out. I'm just waiting for the end of the year so I can do it all at once rather than like 20 updates.

It really shame 06 bound to be remembered as worst Sonic game. Because game does have great writing (minus some stuff). It gave us such great characters like Silver and Mephilis. A hopeful hero who never content with hopelessness. A vile treacherous fiend in form of Mephiles who is straight up Satan. He alongside Black Doom most ruthless villains in the series.

Sonic 06 and Sonic Forces were not that bad, and you forgot about Sonic Superstars. Great video though 😉👍

Yup! Metal Sonic made his debut in CD back in 93. ''Sonic Boom'' was initally the used as the opening track for the game's American release. Later on in the mid 2010's the Sonic Boom series would start with the game, then the show. But, the ''Sonic Boom'' name, was used in CD first!
