Everybody keeps on saying her clothes were inappropriate for Nigeria and a rather conservative culture. They would have been inappropriate anywhere. You do not visit a school during daytime in a long nude sleveless, backless, braless evening dress ( I know there were two straps in the back, but hey), showing side boobs when you move, anywhere. Even if they are borrowed you can temporarily hemp a line ...those dresses were dragging, laying on the ground anytime she sat, and I can only imagine filthy on the bottom. I agree, she looked like she did her own hair and makeup and obviously picked her own outfits, and sticks to the same old terrible silhouettes.

The pink beige dress had no back and it was clear MM was braless. With a loose dress, no back, no bra, it was really inappropriate. Because the dress is so loose, there is a good chance someone got a view inside the dress. MM also bounced around while she danced with the children. It was bad.

I did not like the pantsuit either! 1. she has skinny legs and the pants were too tight to the knees and then the bell-bottom bottom portion looked like a remake of the 1960's and accentuated the fact that the thigh portions were skin-tight. As to the jacket, the fact that it flared out to the sides (looking like a minidress) gave the skin tight thighs too much contrast! And, once again, the pants are too long! Sam, you made the pants too long (an old song).

For those who say, she was in a hot and humid country, that's why she chose all those spaghetti dresses, shoulderless dresses and so on. That is completely wrong. You will feel even hotter in this kind of clothes with bare arms, bare back and shoulders. You begin to sweat, your skin becomes sweaty and clammy. It is so uncomfortable and also uncomfortable for those around you who accidentally or not get to touch your bare skin. Look how people dress in these countries. They usually wear long trousers, long skirts, long sleeves. And she threw herself with bare arms, bare back, braless, with all her sweaty skin exposed mostly at men. Well if she is trying to emulate the late Princess, she Failed!!! The late Princess was always respectful in her dress to the Nations she visited. She made sure that all her outfits have a nod to the country she was visiting. Whether was in the style of the dress or in the color palette as did our late Queen. I've traveled to Africa. Wearing strapless/sleeveless dresses and showing so much skin is very shocking to people in these cultures. Women dress very conservative. People would be very shocked by her appearance.

I was traveling with my daughter and she had a nice long sleeve shirt over a tank top which was great but she had shorts on and they told her she needed long pants. Thankfully I had a pair in my bag. So, we were just tourist and were advised. Why is everyone so afraid to tell her? Gurl go change put a shawl or the shawl they gave you on. Send her the MEMO…dress appropriately , or you can’t come!

That's because she would take invaluable advice from stylists who knows the culture and would incorporate it into the wardrobe. Meeegain hasn't got a clue doesn't have a stylist thinks she can go it alone.....wrong.

She is the only one who has the skill to make any dress on earth look the worst when she puts them on. And nothing ever fits her.

The mistake she made was underestimating the ability of Nigerians to scrutinize things. And she thought Nigeria would feel like one of those Caribbean islands. I think she wont make the mistake again.

This whole trip was a disaster. Who made her a ‘speaker’ on ANY subject at all… adding insult to injury, are they being paid for this farce? Whole thing was ridiculous.

I noticed that they kept on giving her clothes because they wanted her to cover up the nudity

Her squaddies were desperately pushing this narrative throughout the entire fiasco, along with the paid for PR puff pieces she had endlessly shoved down our throats. Give me a classy, respectful, and genuine Catherine all day, every day. Royalty isn't about being popular and drawing attention to yourself. You are there to draw attention to the cause you are representing whilst being respectful. That's one of Rachel's biggest problems. All while we clearly see 12 stylists behind her on every Royal tour She was on and her friend Jessica Mulroney WAS working as her stylist. in 2023 HARRY wrote that before married, William and Kate invited em to their place, Kate OFFERED contact list of stylists to Meghan and She turned it down saying "No thanks, I have my own contact". Watching this video caused me to reflect in gratitude for my mother’s guidance regarding how a lady dresses.

Nigeria is a country with over 200 nationality's. Most people live on barely 2 dollars a day. These two couldnt be bothered to bring school supplies

Bit of psychology theoretical here- IMO the Megs is still in the mind frame of a teenager. She transferred her defiance from her Dad to the royal family (in particular Princess Catherine), and now acts in ways that are opposite to how Catherine would likely advise her to.

Her whole wardrobe (except for the white pant suit) was totally inappropriate and showed up its disdain for the country and its people. It is a train-wreck that has happened.

I wonder why they never bring the kids? Polo matches, "tours", vacations..... it was mother's day, poor kids 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Beebs, as a 67 year old Canadian woman, I've come to the conclusion that Rachel has no sense of style with her clothing, her hair & her shoes. I'm of the opinion that MM (Rachel) is much like Donald Trump; any press whether negative or positive, is good publicity. As for Harry, he always looks like he rolled out of bed, with wrinkly clothing, doesn't remember to button his jacket when standing or walking and his style of shoes and clothes are too casual when next to Meghan.

This is my first time watching your podcast and I am very impressed with your talent and how you describe & comment on each piece. 👍

I've traveled in Africa for the last 15 years. Nigerians are dignified people , who dress modestly, and are respectful towards their elders and family.M & H's behavour and clothing choices were so disrespectful to the culture in so many ways. Many of their outfits looked like they rolled out of bed! Meghan's outfits were not appropriate for any of the events. Even though the pant suit looked nice on her, she shouldn't have worn pants. As you can see in the pictures none of the women wore pants. They wore dresses or skirts that had sleeves, high necklines and hemlines below the knees. H & M were an embarrassment.

I have that type of pant suit and a lot of boss ladies in Nigeria have it too. They love the flowy bottom of the pants. I don't know why but I like it too. People in America open a clothed line that looked like rags and people wore it. This style of suit is liked here in Nigeria. It may be flawed to you but it interprets how nothing is perfect yet beautiful. Did you visit Port-Harcourt? Did you visit Warri? These places are in Nigeria. Nigeria is very big and trust me, we dress like that. Sometimes strapless. We dress the way we want. Some of us dress the way people in the West dress. I am a Nigerian so I know what I am saying.

The clothing, as usual, is awful. The childish hand-holding still drives me crazy.

Her whole closet is ill-fitted Marshall’s clearance but the actual price of each item is somehow hundreds of dollars 🙄
